Their coupon doesn't say cannot be used on weekends

I couldn't tell you how the food is because we went yesterday (Sunday 7/27) & attempted to use this coupon... & was denied. Apparently you can't use it on the weekends, which it doesn't say (just says can't use on holidays), so therefore, on principle, left with nothing. Guess not much has changed since Chad wrote his similar review involving a coupon.

My tuna salad sandwich, simply wrapped without side salad. I don't like coleslaw or the like, but don't charge me the same.

This is a fantastic bagel store; one of the best on the island, which has some of the best bagels in the world. I have had many great sandwiches and breakfast items here. The drawback is that there is always a long line and chaos among the customers and staff there. Still cannot dent the quality and excellence. One strange thing today, in my latest visit since the Cove at 19 pandemic; I got a tuna salad sandwich and the man gave it to me without a side salad or a pickle. Now I don't like side salads with sandwiches, but the strange thing to me is that he still charged me the regular price nine dollars for a tuna salad sandwich. Strange?

I have been here many times , let me preface by saying ... today they got my order wrong ( i always get bagels toasted ) . I understand it was busy, but it always is . What I didn't appreciate was the woman telling me what i ordered . Some may say toasted or not... no big deal. She did then offer to correct order , but at that point i ran out of time. Ok let's get to the good part . Everytime i go here whatever i get , be it bagel, salad , tuna , cream cheese or cold cut , it is always good . I love their variety of options . It's often hard to choose. I included various pictures that represent your options . Included in options are premade salads and parfaits . It is a busy fast paced setting . If you want to sit and eat they have an area ! The store is always sparkling clean as well ! Definitely Recommend if your in the the area .

Prices are too high. I feel like they increased it. I used to love this place. I mean why is my sausage, egg, and cheese $9? I buy the same sandwiches/bagels from another bagel place for cheaper and more meat. The bagels are good, but my sawas mediocre. My sausage was so thin! I had more bread than filling. I see others have complained about price and how skimpy it is. I'm disappointed.

I tend to be in a lot of different places. I'm never somewhere long. So I guess I like my food variety the same....all over the place. I came to "Long Island Bagel Cafe" in Bellmore because the place looked good from the outside. The color scheme was all over the place so it was worth a visit. Parking is right off the road, but not a lot of spots, but luckily I came early, so I found one quickly. Heading inside, the place is beautiful and clean. At the counter you don't wait long for help. The staff is friendly and help with your order. They also told me they make their cream cheese in house. That's great for my next visit, but this time I was thinking egg sandwich. They put it together really quick and I was off to try it. Now let me start by saying, it was good. I would eat it again, but the home fries were bland and I could live without them. But the complete sandwich had enough of everything I needed. Again, if you like exotic home made cream cheese, and soft bagels, this is your spot! However, home fries are another story.

LI Bagel Café of Bellmore I cannot in all honesty give it a fair star rating as I have not eaten there. I stopped by today. I notice really nice lovely flower pots outside and around the store. There was nothing I saw with hours of operation. It was after 6 and while there were two girls working in the store in view behind the glass, the doors were locked. There was no cooperation of even asking a question or to ask when they are open. I got the throat cut sign along with the no head shaking and then no response from either of them. Ok, I get it. They were closed. Today one can't be too careful and I expect perhaps that likely they were directed by their employers to not respond to people once they closed. Yet, even giving them the benefit of the doubt, I did find it rather annoying. Tut-tut on me. What I found was it is a corner store in a lot of stores on the north side of the street with angular parking, easy if you're going that way but with much care if you are on the other side of the street to turn around. As there are many bagel stores and I am not usually in this area, I can't say much more about it, though I wanted to share my experience of it today and perhaps maybe in the area I will stop in when they are open, or perhaps maybe I won't. P.S. I did get a yummy pretzel from the Philly Pretzel store on the same side opposite corner. (See review) So, if you are in the area and it's not about bagels stop by and meet the nice people there and get yourself a fresh pretzel while you are at it.

6 free bagel coupon for first time customers but they wouldn't honor it.

That said, I requested 1/2 sugar in my decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I am avoiding caffeine. It was still too sweet for my taste. We also got a regular coffee which was okay. The iced lavender matcha latte was probably the best. Still a little too sweet. Last was an iced matcha latte; overpowered by sugar. If you want to taste your matcha or coffee, definitely request less sugar, much less. I didn't eat the pastries but my family said the chocolate croissant was flaky with good quality chocolate. We had it warmed up; definitely recommend that. The service was very friendly and helpful. Inside it's dark with cool paintings on the walls. They have several sitting areas with all types of couches and chairs. Outside it smelled like weed; inside it did not. Well, there you go!

There are also a seemingly endless list of options to pick from, which quite frankly is both exciting and overwhelming. I wish there was a "sampler" option to get a couple ounces of 4 or 5 different ones. The coffee itself is good and service was great, and the cafe vibes were solid. The only confusion is that you really have no idea how strong or not the taste is going to be of the item you're getting. Again with so many options of the coffee itself, and then the speciality drinks, I wasn't that positive what I was getting and although I avoid sweetness, a little bit of something would've been helpful to bring out the flavors of the coffee bean rather than just cream which is what I did (resulting in me having a pretty basic coffee that didn't taste that much different than any other ice coffee I've ever had). There's definitely so many cool options, but a little more clarity on how to properly order I think would've been helpful. Still, none the less a great spot to try out with new options to give you a years worth of visits to explore it all.

There was a little bit of a wait, but it wasn't as long as it could've been since we joined the online waitlist. Once inside, we were seated at a comfortable table towards the back of the restaurant. As we walked, you could really see how beautiful the space was, with beautiful flower arrangements adorning the archway, cushioned seats, and clean tables. The overall layout was very appealing. Our waitress, Cheryl, was very kind and professional. It was helpful to have her explain some of the beverages and food items on the menu, which helped us to narrow things down. I ordered the Fried Chicken Benny. My husband ordered the Steak and Eggs. Both were perfection on a plate. Really delicious. I don't eat fried chicken often, but if and when I'm craving it, I would not hesitate to get it from here. Even our drinks, Cinnamon Bun Latte and Crème Brûlée Iced Latte were on point. And, to finish off, we ordered the Crème Brûlée French Toast. I will admit the mere size of it was intimidating, but it wasn't dense. To our surprise, it was very light and flavorful. We will most definitely be adding this brunch spot to our rotation. I highly recommend it.

My husband ordered the tater tot waffles with scallion, sausage gravy, and sunny-side-up eggs, which also allowed me to try a bit of the gravy, something I really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with a kind of nostalgic, old-school diner feel, almost like a more polished version of Cracker Barrel. The staff had that classic diner professionalism too...experienced, efficient, and clearly very used to doing what they do well. My only real complaints were minor. I couldn't really taste the cheddar biscuits, and I didn't love the pickles on the eggs Benedict. I also would have preferred a bit more hollandaise. I know I could have asked for extra, but I just didn't bother in the moment. That said, I saw so many other dishes passing by that looked great, and there are plenty of things I'd still like to try. Unfortunately, it's not a neighborhood I'm often in, it's about an hour from home. That said, the next time I find myself in the area, I'll definitely make a point of stopping in again.
