Came here to fix a broken iPhone screen. I was a little put off because he quoted me $90 on the phone but when I came in it became $160 which is obviously a huge difference. Also there were lots of boxes and broken computers just kind of laying around everywhere, but we were desperate and needed a quick fix. It's been a few days since getting the screen replaced and we've noticed that when next to a normal iPhone looking at the exact same images, the colors are a lot different and not as detailed. Brought my phone in to get the battery replaced. Was really put off by the condition of this place. I had been here many years ago when the shop was owned by a younger guy. Now the place is trashed, stuff everywhere on the floor and empty cases. Phone had 76% battery capacity when I took it in. He had it done within a few hours. I noticed the power level seemed to be the same and thought the phone needed to reset so I did the calibration twice and nothing different. Restated the phone and still no change. Went to go back to the shop and the place is closed. Called and his phone is disconnected. Been this way for weeks. Today I noticed it open. Stopped in and told him the issue. He refused to give a refund. Said he wanted me to leave it with him again. I don't trust this guy to be open tomorrow and didn't feel I should leave my phone or anything with him. Still refusing to issue a refund. He only accepts Venmo. Venmo will not help you as a customer paying for a service. Once the payment is made you have no protection like you would with a credit card. I think he knows this and uses Venmo to his advantage unfortunately it's not your you a customer's advantage I would highly recommend going anywhere else other than here. Don't make the same mistake I did. By the look of this place this guy clearly doesn't care about this business and his customer service skills show the same. Do NOT go here for phone repair go literally anywhere else, first of all the environment was very dirty and odd there were boxes and computers all over the floor and everything in that place was dirty i wouldn't even sit on the chairs because they looked like they carry diseases.i wish i took pictures because this is a time where you should judge a book by its cover. i asked him to take a look at my phone and later when i came back to get it he told me it would be $75 for the "diagnosis" which i think is ridiculous. he then told me he was not going to give back my phone because it was "in pieces" i told him i don't care at this point im not going to go through with the phone repair because he was so sketchy and i didn't trust him especially after seeing all the bad reviews on here (i dropped my phone in water and he told me the screen needed to be replaced) and he refused to give me back my phone. i told him im not giving him a dime of my money until he put my phone back together as is or else i was going to call the police because he had a piece of my property. i eventually called someone to come in with me and after lots of arguing he finally put my phone back together and i paid him the $75 and left and am never EVER going back and i hope no one else ever has to deal with this but unfortunately they probably will. i ended up going to spencer's phone repair which he was much nicer and helpful, i only needed my phone screen repaired so that i could buy a new one and transfer the data, the guy at spencer's phone repair was much nicer and charged about the same amount and was less sketchy. i almost feel bad writing this because i feel like a karen but i was genuinely so shaken up and disturbed by that experience. if i could give them 0 stars i would. read more

Don't go here. They charged me $40 to " calibrate " my cvs ver port when what I asked and was quoted for was to have it replaced. and My phone is now more messed up Than when I brought it in. When I went back i was advised that no I could not have my money back but they could finish my original request, but This would need to be done when they have time witch is when they decide to be open, hours that seem fairly arbitrary. Like when they feel like being there. After I left very annoyed they called me to ask if I wanted to borrow a charger... ya know for between now and when I can navigate their inconsistent hours to have my repair actually done instead of them just saying they'll do it. Unfortunately the charger is not the problem the port is, wtf is another changer going to do for my broken charger port???!!! I did intend on going back to have them finish, but after some thought I don't want to deal with a business that just did whatever they wanted with my phone wasting my time and money instead of what was quoted and discussed. I was looking for places to get my iphone11 screen fixed. I called here and they quoted me $110 but they have a 10% off special so it would be $99. I said great send me the address. When I got there he tells me unfortunately it will be $126. I saw sign inside that said if you leave a Yelp review you can receive 10% off. I asked him ok so $126 and 10% off if I leave a review. He says no it's originally $150 and with the 10% off that's $126 plus tax because times are hard. And so was his service so I left and went to cpr cell phone repair in vista and they charged me $120 flat which they quoted over the phone previously. The guy that works there is nice, but the quality of the screen they applied isn't genuine... so even with the highest level of brightness it's still dark. (100% brightness with this newly applied screen might equal to 50% of original screen) I took it in and he said it'll be ready in 1 hr. I went back in 1:30 min and it wasn't ready! I waited for about 10minites for him to finish it up. As I was walking out talking to my boyfriend I realized the sensitivity of the screen was all messed up... (when I put the phone up against my ear (on the phone) it'll punch random keys or numbers) so I took it back and he said another 1 hr. Which was a little pain in the butt. The condition of the phone isn't at 100%. It is 50%... like if I stay on the phone browsing the web or apps, the screen sometimes become little blurry (I'll see little lines). But I'm not planning on complaining, I'm just happy that the screen isn't cracked. Ps- I found out that if your phone is new iphone7 and if you crack your screen, even without the AppleCare plan, apple will fix or might give you a new phone for under $200. Worst experience and customer service. I made the mistake of going here to fix my iPhone X to save money, but they fixed the screen improperly which allowed water to leak inside and ruin my iPhone. They do not stand behind what they say and after doing some research it expected that the water adhesives are replaced after the screen is fixed to ensure that it is still water resistant.
