We hired Eastlake plumbing after a previous plumber cancelled on our project. We wanted to change our shower faucet for a different look but this required going through dry wall and changing out the valve. I was told they had a contact for dry wall but I purchased an access panel in case I needed to access again and the tech installed it without question which was great. Price was also reasonable compared to other companies. I initially agreed upon a time as I was messaged on yelp. Unfortunately, no one showed up after they confirmed and I called and they said they were not aware. So I had to take another full day off. I used to trust this company for years and have used them a few times for my plumbing needs. However, not sure what happened to the technical expertise of their technicians lately. I had to have an emergency repair conducted on a leak that was in my ceiling. The technician sent took over four hours to complete a repair of one leaking cold water supply line. He seemed unprepared for the task. He had to stop work, at least three times to go get parts that he did not have. The work also was very expensive from what I have been told from second opinions for what I was charged. The repair that he done looks shoddy. Instead of one piece replacement, he did three for one leak. He also would not guarantee the work because he said my water pressure was too high. My water pressure has not changed since I have been in the house for over 20 years and every plumber from this company had guaranteed their work. In my opinion, Eastlake plumbing is very expensive, and the quality has gone down to where I don't even trust the work. I am considering having another company redo the work correctly. I am completely unsatisfied with the results, and I would seek another company to the plumbing if I were you. read more

Unacceptable service and their plumbers need training since they do not even know the difference between a water leak and appliance issues. they take the easy way out. due to them we incurred 2 days more of water damage due to wrong diagnose because of incompetence. As far as I know Anderson Plumbing is their parent company but do not know how involved they are or overlook their work. I want to be balanced in this review that was scheduled to help my elderly parents. Abraham the technician who came out was helpful, professional, and courteous. no complaints there he kept us informed and was polite the whole time. But the scheduling and management side of this company was an absolute disaster. We were originally told 8-10 AM. That window got pushed to 1-3 PM. Then we were told the camera operator would arrive at 5 PM. That became 6 PM. Now it's pushing 7-8 PM because apparently the camera for the jetting service is coming all the way from Escondido to Chula Vista something that could have been planned hours ago. That's nearly 12 hours of waiting. A simple pipe inspection estimate with jetting service should not consume an entire day. If you value your time, be very cautious booking with this company. The field staff may be great, but the people handling scheduling clearly have no system in place to respect customers' schedules. read more

I was getting my countertops replaced and needed a plumber to help with installing a new sink, garbage disposal, and faucets. I reached out to Eastlake Plumbing, and they were very quick to assess what I needed and provide a clear, straightforward bid. Communication throughout the process was smooth and easy. While I initially requested just one visit, I later found out the shut-off valves needed replacing before the other work could be done or else I would need to shut off my main water valve for more than a day. Eastlake Plumbing was very flexible and sent someone out earlier than planned to take care of it so I could get my water turned back on. I believe the plumber I worked with was named Sal who was great to work with, explained everything clearly, and was efficient and professional. He also did his best to work around the countertop installers, which I really appreciated. Once the countertop work was complete, Sal returned the next day to finish the remaining plumbing. Not a fan of this business. I called for some plumbing work and made an appointment for them to come out a couple days later and was told a plumber would be there between 3 and 5pm. I work until 4, so I had to take an hour off to ensure I would be there by 3. Around 4:30 I got a text saying they wouldn't be there until between 5 and 7pm. Then I got three phone calls in a row from their number where I answered, no one said anything and then a recording started saying something to the effect of this phone call was being recorded so I just hung up. So that was pretty annoying as well. What is the point of an appointment if you're not going to keep it and why robocall me instead of just calling to talk to me like a normal person? Pretty irritating experience overall and I probably won't ever use them. read more

Fantastic job. I had a clogged sink in my bathroom and I had tried everything, but it was beyond my simple home remedies. David was on time, which was frankly critical because I had so much to get done. Scheduling was great. Another company cancelled on me the night before, and so I reached out to others using the Yelp Project feature. Eastlake was able to schedule me for the next day and was very responsive to keep me in the loop on when they would arrive. At the end of the job, David said he needed to clean up. I figured he meant just under the sink where he had been working... nah... he cleaned the sink too. I mean it was gross because the clogged water had been sitting there for a few days. He didn't have to do it, but he cleaned it all up like you'd expect a cleaning person to do. I've seen a few reviews that mentioned they are a little pricey. I can't say for sure, maybe a tiny bit, but I don't think it's unreasonable. Frankly at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a fair price than hire a discount plumber that is unreliable. They are definitely a company I will rely on when needed. David was great. read more
