And about a year ago, I made a mistake by giving Looking Glass a bad review. Shortly after, I came back and had a conversation with one of the managers; based on that conversation, I deleted that review. Today, I'm happy to give Looking Glass Brewing a 5 star review. Their customer service has improved significantly. In fact, the changes I've experienced since then have made it probably one of my favorite places to visit. They keep their beer rotating with new brews and I just had a delicious lunch... the onion gravy was on point and the sausages have a really good crunch. Everything has been really good and I'm so glad I gave them another chance.

Famous for amazing burgers, and that was the order every visit! Until about 6 months ago.... What were once juicy and flavorful burgers are now hockey pucks on a bun. Even when ordering med rare they come out black and dry. The fries are also much more seasoned than before and it is too overpowering. The wings taste like chewing on actual hickory logs - even with buffalo sauce they have an overpowering sweet-smoke flavor. Beers are good, and the salads are fresh. Too loud, too dark, still a powerful cigarette odor even though smoke free for a decade. Servers are hit or miss - some are very good and have a great attitude, others are surly and slow and make too many mistakes. The "regulars" tend to be rude to others and staff. Owners seem dedicated and responsive, though. The biggest negative is that no one answers the phone there when you try to call, just rings forever. Not great for business when customers can't call to check if busy or to place takeout order. Have to go in and place takeout orders or find out if you can get a table for more than 4 people. Update the menu, phone number and burger quality and the Draft House will be back on top again. read more

Nice "roadhouse" style restaurant just north of Lansing. Very diverse menu at reasonable prices. Try the french dip -- it is fantastic! Good for groups as there are lots of larger tables and flex seating. read more
