I didn't get to spend enough time here because we were bar hopping that night. But it seems like your typical local bar spot. I didn't get a chance to order food but I got a vodka cranberry and it was good. Right amount of booze and cranberry and the bartender was very attentive, so that's always a plus! I will be back soon to try some food.

Living so close to Draft Picks, I've been here a few times for casual dinners and to grab drinks with friends. The food is nothing too crazy. Think standard American bar food. They do offer daily specials, which I like. Prices are decent and fair for what you're getting. The space inside is large, and if you're into sports, there are plenty of screens throughout the restaurant. If you enjoy watching sports and drinking, check this place out. For the food, everything I've tried was pretty mid at best. The chicken wings were just okay, and while the chicken tenders are meaty, the batter is very interesting... and not necessarily in a good way. Service has also been hit or miss. Some visits are fine, and others not so much. Overall, I'm glad to have a spot like this close to home for something easy and convenient, but it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to recommend or hype up to friends.

Solid place to gather with friends with a large dining area and plenty of parking. This place has tons of specials and events happening which make the atmosphere a bit more lively than some other suburban bars for me. Service isn't the quickest, here but it's definitely much quicker than some other suburban spots that I've been to when they're at their busiest. The best reason to come here is probably their daily specials which provide a sizeable amount of food for a very reasonable price (rivaling that of fast food and fast casual). These are prepared pretty similar to what you find for suburban bar food, but the additional star is due to competitive pricing. I've never had anything here which I find particularly amazing, but I also not had anything here that I really disliked. The brownie and chocolate chip cookie are both solid dessert options, but are fairly large so it's good to share with a group. There's a fairly good amount of whipped cream and ice cream on them as well, which is a plus for anyone craving a frozen treat. Overall, large and comfortable place to gather with friends. It gets the job done while providing plenty of food without breaking the bank. It's also not excessively loud even when busy, which is a positive when coming here with a group.

We were seated right away in a booth. Our waiter greeted us right away and took our drink and food order. They serve coke fountain products which we were happy about. We started off with an order of Saganaki as our appetizer which we both loved! It was served with quartered pita bread. My husband ordered a dozen mild wings ($89 each) with blue cheese dipping sauce. He loved them and said he would order them again! I ordered the broasted chicken dinner for $12.99 it came with fries (or mashed potatoes) coleslaw and garlic bread. The chicken leg was seasoned perfectly... the rest of the chicken felt like it did not even have any salt or pepper. I am not sure if it is just my taste buds but it was not as flavorful as I hoped for. I would definitely dine here again but I will try something else. My daughter loved the fries and said she would eat them again. The prices were pretty good and the atmosphere was lively and fun. They were playing 80's and 90's hits so we had a fun time here! Will be back when we are in the area!

I've probably been here about 20 times but never written a review so here we go. It's a sports bar, so that's how I'm judging it. Plenty of TVs. It's a Cubs/Sox/Bears spot (as it should be). Adding the photo of Ditka near the bathrooms to my review for good measure. Wings 5/5 The hot wings here are great. I usually get 6 and we share them before a meal. The hot sauce is just right. I get them pretty much every time I come here. Burger 4/5 I've had better but they do it right here. Whatever style you prefer its represented on the menu. And on Sundays they are $3! Beer 4/5 I love that they have a lot to choose from on tap but I generally end up getting either Guinness or Peroni. Maybe I just have a different palette because the style I want isn't typically represented. But overall there is a good selection here on draft. Greek Salad 5/5 Excellent Greek Salad here! Plenty of olives and feta and the dressing is perfect. Service 5/5 I've always had good service here. No issues there. I always sit at the main bar. Environment 3/5 There's an outdoor area that's pretty sweet if you have a group and want to catch a game, if I had any complaint it would probably be the entryway and the clutter of gaming machines and general disarray of the walkway coming in. It's also really dark to the point that the TVs do most of the lighting. I definitely think for a Sports Bar Draft Picks does exactly what you need it to do though, and I'll be back many many more times.

Sometimes a bit too loud with the music, especially when business is slowing down, but the food is fantastic. Best fried pickle spears!

We got sliders, chicken tenders, and fries. They all were very filling and decent portion sizes. I'm not much of a drinker, so I was excited to see a nice n/a menu. I tried a peach Moscow Mule. They have some other fruity flavors as well. The service was very quick, and we were seated quickly despite it being busy. While it is loud and busy in there, it wasn't hard to hold a conversation. The location is also perfect for anyone taking the train. There is also plenty of street parking.

Establishment was clean. While it was very busy, even the noise level was at a normal volume (acoustics of the bar?). Server was Nicole, and she was attentive and cordial. The food was great! We decided to share a few apps: chicken tenders, fries, and bacon burger sliders. My friend got a non-alcoholic peach Moscow mule, and I had Slow Melt Pale Ale from Half Acre Brewing. My beer was awesome, and the chicken tenders were my fave out of the 3! However, they were all very good. Go check it out when you're in the Mt. Prospect area - great beer list and lots of menu options.

I also tried their double burger - it was good, the food is kind of pricey but it was tasty, and they do have some daily specials. After a waitress went in and out 2x each, we asked her not to use it - and she argued with us. In the mean time, my gf ordered a spicy margarita which was supposed to come with a Tajin rim. It came with salt instead. The bartender didn't want to re-make the drink, so he poured it in another glass, making it very salty. When he had to remake it, he still didn't put the Tajin rim on it. Lastly, the manager/owner walked in the door that staff isn't supposed to use. We asked him about it and he said 'yeah, they don't listen to me when I tell them not to use it' - well - you're setting the example there.

They decorated it with hanging plants, some art, a fish tank. A slight haze of smoke. Desserts on display. I'd say the finest work of art here are the prepped skewers, waiting to be thrown on their charcoal grill. My gaze was fixed on the meat display as if I was Cookie Monster at Crumbl. I composed myself and took a seat. They have great hot and cold appetizers. They have breakfast! Check out their menu, I've included a pic. Lahmacun is a crunchy brick oven flatbread with ground meat. It feels so light, airy, and crunchy, you could eat the whole thing and later say "..um, I ate the whole thing". We ordered a few King Chef's mixed grill platters. It is a medley of filet morsels, chicken, lamb chops, shawarma, shish kebab, and many other things, along with bulgar and fries. Why are their fries so good? Okay, so I know we're just talking about lemonade, but their house made lemonade is so good. We also loved their tea. We went way overboard on desserts. We just kept pointing at sharable items like John Travolta to the Bee Gees. All of the desserts were delicious. For some reason, the simplest of them, rice pudding, won the dessert battle that day. They have plenty of intriguing items that will lure me back, and I'm looking forward to it!
