By far the best tasting Chinese food RR that we've been to in this state. Conveniently located not to far away from where we live is a bonus. Medium sized quaint atmosphere gives it that Chinese feel. The place is kept up very well, very clean. The staff, which appears to be just a couple of people, were very polite and accommodating. We ordered the BBQ pork, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, Mongolian beef with sweet and sour chicken, prawns. And of course the hot soup which is to die for, just the right amount of heat and very tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection. One of the negative comments I must address. It was in regards to fried rice being steamed white rice with soy sauce, I say of course that's all it is. Because that's exactly what fried rice is. Since 1970 I have been frequenting this restaurant.I enjoyed many good meals and good times with my family there.There was a distinctive taste that you couldn't get out of your head, and when they sold the place, I cried. I have been trying very hard to adjust to the new owners but there's something missing. ?? Also, everything is still the same as it was in 1970. Same tables, chairs, booths, and rug. You would think that the new owners would want to change the place to a distinctive look for them and their new place. Its old, stinky, and drab. The food is good, but there's no pizazz or personality there except 1 little waitress who brightens up the [lace with her laughter and greet personality. Wing Lu. So I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food served in this little hole in the wall restaurant attached to a bowling alley. We have lived in this area for over 15yrs and have never tried it because the outside isn't very appealing to look at to say the least. But I am so bummed that we have missed out on some really great Chinese food for so long. It's small but quaint on the inside and very clean. It may have been because we eat what we call Linner meaning we don't eat lunch and we don't eat dinner we try to eat our last meal of the day around 3-5 pm so getting someone's attention took me calling the restaurant to get someone up to the front to seat us. The server was very friendly and prompt when we he did show up. Food came fast although our server did disappear again for the remainder of the meal. But as I said we were the only ones there being that it was very mid afternoon. All and all I say go it's really good. read more

I am so disappointed with this place today. I called this after noon asking for the family meal for two. After the gentlemen confirmed it came with Mongolian beef and chow mein. When I went to pick up the order it looked a little small for the order I placed. I decided to let it go and just take what he gave me, after all the two main dishes were my favorite. After I got home I opened the chow mein and to my surprise there was shrimp in it. I am allergic to seafood and cannot eat this. I thought I was very clear with what I wanted my order to be. I called in to say there was a mix up, the gentlemen said I ordered the house chow mein and it comes with shrimp so no exchange. What a waste of $$$. I'm pretty sure this was a language barrier problem. I will only go back when the ladies who work there are on shift. The male working there is completely useless. read more

You can tell the restaurant has been there awhile. When you walk in you are taken back in time to when Chinese restaurants wanted you to see a bit of China when you dined in them. Not just a room in a strip mall. The service is friendly if not a bit aloof. As far as the food goes my favorite dish is probably the chop suey (I know... it was first served in the US not China but I like meals that have a bite of many things in them). I hadn't been here in close to a quarter century when I decided to stop in for a late lunch with friends. The food was quite good -- I had kung pao chicken & the dish was well-prepared. Hot & sour soup was a solid hit, the heat didn't overpower the tangy notes in the soup. Service was friendly and attentive. Decor is almost unchanged -- I immediately recognized the place! Prices were reasonable in my opinion, particularly given the quality of the food and the size of the portions. I was hungry when I showed up and by the time I finished eating there were still plenty of leftovers on my plate to box up for later. I got Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, and crab wontons to go. It was edible but not good. Everything lacked flavor. Mongolian beef was packed full of soggy onions. The restaurant is completely separate from the bowling alley, is paneled in dark word with adequate lighting (not dim). The wait staff were good. On to the food: Hot & sour soup was minimally ok. Mongolian beef had extraordinarily tender beef, but was marred by very strong onion (not cooked sufficiently). The almond crusted chicken was crispy, bland and a bit gloppy. The egg roll was miserable; not crisp and mostly cabbage, starchy filling and wrapper. I'll try again elsewhere. Or treat myself to excellent Chinese in Vancouver. read more

DONT Ordered their special on the board which consisted of day old chunks of gross orange chicken covered with sweet sauce. Waited along time for service because the bar part was very busy, I guess. Asked the old waitress if we could try something else, it was not good. NO was her response. Dragon Inn used to be excellent when the previous owner managed it. BEST Chinese food around! My family drives 30 minutes just to have it. Perfectly cooked, savory vegetables. Entres are generous and make for second meal leftovers. Prices are amazing. Food was tasty but delivery was very disappointing. The wrong soup was delivered, so I phoned letting the restaurant know. The restaurant apologized and stated they would deliver it. I received a phone call twenty minutes later telling me the restaurant was very busy and if it was okay not to deliver. Unfortunately I did not hear my phone ring and it was another twenty minutes before I heard my voicemail. I have asked them to deliver my soup that has already been paid for. At no time did anyone offer to refund me the cost of the soup in lieu of delivery. I am now patiently waiting and hope my soup arrives. read more

terrible take out, the fried rice tasted like it was 2 days old the portions were small for the $12 pricing per entree and to top it off my spouse and I both had food poisoning.
