Great catering experience at this Panda Express location in Mount Vernon. I placed the order 48 hours in advance, the order was ready and prepared perfectly at my requested pick up time. The office really appreciated lunch as it was filled with wholesome options (stemmed broccoli, steak with peppers, grilled chicken, etc.) and not deli sandwiches. Every single time we go to this place it is a disaster. Any time we do not go inside the orders are wrong . One time I ordered fried rice with double orange chicken and they forgot the orange chicken. I opened my tray at home to only find rice. This last time they forgot a complete order for door dash . Ordered 2 entrees and only got 1 . Any time we go through the drive through they are out of almost every thing we order and we end up having to wait 5-15 minutes or they don't offer a wait at all they just say they are plain out. Going inside is not a much better experience , last time we did that I was almost late to work because it took 20 minutes to get the orders for the 6 people in front of me . Then when they wanted to pay in cash the girl at the register did not know what to do with it and had to get management involved. I tried to ask if I could pay first and be on my way and they said no , they had already rang them up . Also just the quality of the food , the chicken is usually mushy and the rice and noodles are always dry , we have to pour soy sauce on them just to rehydrate it most of the time. We have been to many other locations including Arlington, Marysville and Everett. This is by far the worst Panda Express we have ever gone to. I think we have finally learned our lesson and won't be giving them another chance to screw things up. read more

I've been to this Panda express a number of times and you're not gonna get anything new out of this place. While it isn't the greatest food, the customer service has never been poor while I was there. In fact, the employees were quite amicable and happy to help even when I changed my mind and got food elsewhere. I wouldn't dine in here because it does kind of have a school-cafeteria vibe to the place but the ambiance isn't HORRIBLE it's just not meant for dining in, it's takeout. Last night 10/15 my wife and I ordered using the app for the first time thinking it would expedite the process but it's not any faster than the drive thru. My wife ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp and it was not cooked properly so my wife got terrible food poisoning! I know it was the shrimp because we ordered the same thing minus shrimp on my order. I can tell you that this will be the last time I will come to Panda Express. During a typical rush hour, you can expect that they will: 1. Have a line of cars at the drive through 10 cars deep with an order completion rate of 5-10minutes per car. 2. Have their lobby closed, preventing you from going inside to either place an order or pick up a mobile order. I decided that I would order at a non-peak hour, thinking my experience would improve. Not the case. I ordered from the online app around 1030am and was quoted at 1050am pickup time. When I pulled up early at approximately 1040, I was told that they don't open until 11 which the photo clearly disproves. When I attempted to cancel my order because I didn't want to wait, I was told that only a manger can complete this action, and they are not on site. I decide to wait. Pull up to the window at 11am and am told that it will be another 8minutes. Mind you, I can see them filling orders inside as I'm waiting outside. Worst service and half the time they're out of entrees. I ended up getting my food 25 minutes after the quoted time. I could have ordered a more premium option from a sit-down restaurant more quickly. If you're not offering value, consistency OR speed, what are you offering as a "fast-casual" restaurant?? read more

I went to this location, October 14 at 6 PM. I was excited to see that there was a drive-through. I ordered my food and drove up to the window. The young lady working the took my money but when she returned my change she balanced it on my receipt and most of it fell on the ground She didn't Acknowledge the situation whatsoever instead, she handed me my box of food, not in a bag, completely covered and dirty food. Fingerprints. When she handed me this disgusting box, I looked up at her and I said could I please have a bag! She replied to me in a rude tone bags will cost eight cents I then pointed out that she had dropped over eight cents on the ground handing me my change and she told me it was only a penny It's really discouraging to give a company business and get treated like this. Food was ok, what little I was able to eat. The packaging for delivery horrible. I ordered a small meal. One side, two main and a side of spring rolls. They use door dash for delivery. This goes more to Aubrey the door dash delivery person. The delivery was dropped at my door on its side. I received a text saying my delivery was handed to me. It wasn't. Everything in the meal container was tossed together and spilling out into the bag. The inside of the bag was a mess. My spring rolls were smushed and inedible at that point. I love their Walnut Shrimp, delicious! They are usually really fast to get your food out and every employee there has been nothing but polite and courteous. They also have a drive thru and offer delivery through Door Dash that is free. Stopped in for a small bite to eat before we went grocery shopping. Walked in to a fairly empty restaurant, we were after the lunch hour. Restaurant itself was pretty clean. Still a table of two to be bussed. We went up to the counter and started looking at the menu offerings, and of course ogling the actual items as well. There was an employee standing back just occasionally glancing at us. No hello, just kind of looked at us. We tried asking a few questions and had to repeat ourselved 3 times for each question before we received an very curt answer. Finally decided what we wanted and tried to get the employees attention. When we did, she just went through the motions, very unfriendly. She put our food on the counter and walked off. Turned out she was using the drive through register. Came back told us the price, took our money, turned around and disappeared. Came back, handed us our change and turned around and walked away. No thank you, have a nice day, nothing. I went back up to the counter to ask for some soy sauce, she just grabbed a few dropped them in my hand. Also, while we were eating, it was like somebody in the back was having a bad day. Sounded like pots, pans, plastic bins were just being tossed. Very loud, made it hard to hold a conversation. i got orange chicken and fried rice I asked for white rice. not a huge deal because they sound very similar not hard to mistake. but I got home and also found multiple hairs in my food . I've also noticed the lack of gloves and hair nets or hats/caps. i saw 1 dark hair and 1 white hair in my food and that is honestly disgusting and not the first time I've found something in my food at the mount vernon location from hard black flakes (from the pots or pans flaking while cooking specifically) to hair. the line always takes so long busy or not. as someone who works food service i always give more chances bc panda food is amazing and mistakes happen but I am always displeased. The orange chicken was a little crispy, again think it was old. The sweet fire chicken was good didn't seem too old but not as fresh as I'm used to getting. Very kind folks, while I subbed a side for an entree and no one in my family found it something they could eat! I was happy they would exchange some extra fried rice! As everyone in the family will eat that! I can always find chicken or pork to go with the fried rice to make it go further this week! The food was incredible today. Our family loves their food but it is definitely NOT WORTH IT when the workers have a nasty hateful attitude. Ordered from Uber Eats, which was a mess in itself because the driver couldn't follow simple instructions, but when I started eating, I realized there was something off. The chow mein tasted funny, so I moved it around a little and low and behold, a HUGE piece of PLASTIC was in my food! You can clearly see in the picture that they cooked the plastic in the food because it's all warped and covered with sauce and whatnot. I will NOT be returning to this place.
