Not all Dragon Palace's are the same!!! That being said, this location and staff is great. I've been at least 10-15 times. I've mainly done sit down, but on occasion will get take out as well. The staff is VERY keen on customer service and the place is always packed, especially for drinks after work and dinner time. The food, particularly the sushi is amazing! we have been dining at dragon palace for so many years ... over the past year (2024) the food has been considerably less enjoyable. and the prices have risen so greatly; yet the food and portions decline! the waitstaff are wonderful - always have been.. the restaurant is clean ... and kept clean ( i think!) ... .with all this said, we have decided not to order from d/palace any longer. tired of returning home with takeout that is bland, over-priced and just not good --- such a big change! i had thought we were the only ones until several neighbors and such voiced the same thoughts/concerns... when one orders beef and broccoli and the beef is grizzled and just plain not good - or the fried rice (pork) now tastes as though it has been watered down, i think these are all signs we need to ponder! i am sad for this, but we will no longer patronize dragon palace in wyoming ri .. .we still wish them success and prosperity! We went for lunch on a Sunday. The service was good. The prices were good. The food was ok. I had the fried shrimp with sweet and sour sauce. My kids and I were not a fan of the duck sauce or the sweet and sour sauce. The crab Rangoon was very good. My kids liked the general tso chicken and the fried rice. read more

Love the sushi! Volcano roll is a MUST HAVE! The price is amazing. And the staff and service are awesome!!! Such a great spot and conveniently right off the highway. First, let me start by saying the sushi was very good. My son is 9 and really likes sushi. He likes to watch it being prepared. This is not the place if that's the experience you're looking for. We were told we can't sit at the sushi bar because it's part of the alcohol bar. No problem. Apparently, the bartender was somehow offended by our presence, but instead of asking us to leave, made snide comments under his breath as he passed by our table. I have to say, I can't remember ever being treated this way at a sushi restaurant. Usually, the manners and the experience are as important as the food. Not at Dragon Palace. As long as you are over 21 and don't have any kids, this might be the place for you. Just don't annoy the bartender or he'll make you pay with rude, snarky, underhand comments. read more

Wow, this unassuming restaurant just off i95 is really good. We had special soup for two. It was filled with fresh veggies. Every dish we ordered was cooked just right. We had chicken with mixed veggies, Singapore Mei Fun and steamed dumplings. This food is really good. Wish we lived closer, we would be here more often. There is a nice bar area. He forgot my ingredient so he served me a warm two ingredient sushi roll at full price despite my original order. This place has small rolls and the rice is nasty and al denté - not soft and round - meaning it was a Crunchy set of Overly Priced Lacking Ingredients Set of Sushi Rolls. They used long grained Goya style rice (or, at least, so it would appear) My friend got the Beef Lo Mein - noodles looked raw and the sauce appeared separated. Dragon is my favorite place in town for food. They've got really friendly waitresses, my favorite being Christine! The rest of the staff is great too, and the customer service here is awesome. CREDIT CARD USERS BEWARE! I have loved this restaurant for 7 years but last night was my last time. I ordered a sushi roll for takeout. My total came to 16.79. When the cashier (a man I've never seen before) took my credit card to pay he charged me 116.79. I normally would think this is an honest mistake but his immediate reaction and knowledge of the mistake before I was able state why I was frustrated makes me think he did it on purpose. As a person with a preference for more authentic Chinese food, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was both delicious and authentic tasting. The portions were large and our waitress was extremely friendly. Every detail from the cleaniness of the bathrooms to the fortunes in the fortune cookies were good quality. This is the best Chinese food I've found in the area, and probably one of the best I've ever had after living in multiple states. What separates this place from others is how fresh it is. The noodle dishes are not overly sauced, the meats (especially the boneless ribs) are very tender, and the service is fast. After our awesome experience at the Coventry Dragon Palace I had high hopes for the Hope Valley one.. We came for lunch with the anticipation of the lunch buffet but it seems they longer do the buffet... A yad disappointing.. The menuhad a wide range of food ... The prices were great since lunch specials come with a soup.. However I didn't feel the quality of food lived up to the other locations... And we didn't get offered the chips with the special duck sauce that we love so much at other Dragon Palaces and the competition, Bali Village..... I hopped off 95 to grab a coffee and was interested in Chinese Food so I went to Yelp. They gave me 2 close places, one of which is directly across from the Cumberland Farms and received OK reviews. I chose Dragon Palace as it had much better reviews. I am particular about chinese food when traveling as it differs greatly, and not always in a good way! The only negative I saw about this place as the sign is next to the Mobil and I went in the wrong driveway first and had to go back out on 138 to try again. The second time I thought I was wrong again as it was a decrepit road going behind Mobil but it worked. The best way is to go in the road between the Mobil and I-95. The inside of the place was modern and clean. The service was a white female which I never take as a good sign. It seems that the quality of the food goes down the fewer Chinese people there are working but, in this case, it did not matter. She was clearly just a pleasant server and left the cooking to the experts (I assume!) I got hot team and water as well as a bowl of fried wonton chips with a dark duck sauce. They were very addictive. I ordered a combination plate from the luncheon menu of crab rangoon, boneless rib and chicken fried rice. I found the chicken fried rice option odd as I usually see pork fried rice. There was also choice of a soup or an egg roll. I went for the egg drop soup but did add an egg roll to my meal. The soup was excellent, very eggy and no mushrooms. It was served with a side of crunchy chow mein noodles which, again was different but was good in the soup. The main course came and everything was piping hot and fresh. The ribs were without fat and were tasty. The crab rangoon were crisp with a warm gooey center and no scallions in them (a plus!). The fried rice looked poor as it was very dark but it was very good. The egg roll was a run of the mill egg roll which I liked. Prices are decent. I will return when in the area. read more

What can I say the food was excellent. I got takeout and I have to say I was impressed. Fried rice was good. Steak teriyaki was excellent as well as rhe oyster wings and sweet and sour chicken. This place is fantastic, I go here at least 3 times a week. The food is absolutely amazing, and surprisingly cheap for the quality. In particular I recommend their crab rangoons, easily the best I've ever had. Unlike the normal orange duck sauce you get to dip them in, they have this dark sauce that is sweet and a little bit savory, I can't figure out quite what is in it, but it is beyond delicious! The sushi is also hands down some of the best I've had in RI, be sure to try the brown dragon and volcano rolls. The service staff are really nice, and the food always comes out quick and delicious. My husband and I only come here for sushi, because the Chinese food is better right down the street at Bali Village. For some reason, On their sushi rolls, they always put the rice on the outside rather than the seaweed. I find that it's way too much rice, and have tried ordering it with the seaweed on the outside several times, with no success. Today, they tried to charge me four dollars extra for seaweed. ???
