    Sashimi and dragon roll

Wowza! While Mori Sushi may be pricey (but it's Newport so what are you expecting?) the quality is unparalleled in the region. Service is prompt and attentive. Decor is kind of generic to be honest... But the sushi... OMG is it good. It's one of the few remaining places that offer a Tekka Don bowl and I will certainly be back for it. Highly, highly recommend!

This place is so intimate and cute! Our server was so nice and attentive! Food was also really good and the sushi platter was a great deal to split two for three people! If we ever come back to Rhode Island we'd definitely come back to this spot!

Mori Sushi is so good. I have had several meals, and takeout from Mori. Its always delicious. Their unagi roll and spicy Mexican roll are my favorites. The bibimbap bowl is outstanding. It's in the shopping center across from Tennis hall of fame. Make sure you get your ticket validated.

Volcano roll, Diablo roll and dumplings.

Food: was really good, I ordered a volcano roll and a Diablo roll with some dumpling. Both rolls were full of flavor and the perfect about of spice (as long as you enjoy spicy food) if you think mayo is spicy, neither are for you. Service/ambience: I walked in at 5pm and was immediately greeted and provided with a menu, as well as validated my parking ticket. The restaurant had a very dim lit yet relaxing ambience which was absolutely relaxing and welcoming. The waiters were very polite and attentive. The food was received within 5 minutes of placing my order. Overall, I recommend this place if you enjoy sushi accompanied by an absolutely great staff!

Late lunch (around 2), plenty of seating. Pork gyoza was delicious and there were so many delicious sushi choices we weren't sure what to choose! If you're not a sushi fan they had noodle dishes and more! Our server was polite. The chefs made the sushi right then and there. Very fresh!

Very basic Japanese food. Was excited to try a spot that looked great online and was in Newport so had to be good, right? Especially when 5 items come to a $100 total. Unfortunately not the case. Chirashi was very basic, dumplings were ok, but the worst offender was the avocado salad.. one look at this thing tells you all you need to know. Simply put, there are better options out there. Seek them.

Great spot for sushi in downtown Newport across from the international tennis hall of fame. It's located in the Bellevue Gardens Shopping Center. Got the Mori roll, Negihamachi roll and the spicy tuna roll. Of them, I liked the mori roll the most. The other two were Aok. They may provide parking validation. Overall good experience.

Was craving some sushi and came here! Really enjoyed it! Many options on the menu that all sounded wonderful. My friend and I split two different kinds. The fish tasted very fresh. The service was great and the workers were very attentive. The inside had some nice decor. Sushi is always a little pricy for the amount of food but still had a great experience!

A group of us stopped in for lunch and we just couldn't get over how awful the service was at this place. The food itself was good. We shared some rolls and a Korean rice dish. The ginger dressing was fantastic. But the time it took to get someone to take our orders, get our food, and get/pay for our checks was almost comical. One person in our group asked for a salad that never came, but we were charged for. We couldn't find our server when we needed to dispute that charge so we had to flag down someone who wasn't serving our table. We had to ask multiple times for utensils and water refills. There were not many people in the restaurant so we are not sure what the issue was. It almost felt like we were being deliberately mistreated and ignored. I would not recommend this business.

We went there for dinner and ordered a Philadelphia roll, a Mexican roll, a spicy scallop roll and a chicken bento box. The sushi tasted fresh, and the Mexican roll was extremely spicy. The bento box was good and had a could assortment of sushi with it. The service could've been better. Also, we saw one of the servers cough into his hand, and it didn't look like he washed his hands after that. Glad we had already got our food from another server. Validate your parking. I'll give this place a solid 3.8.

It's located in a plaza so parkings are readily available. When we got there it was early just when the restaurant opened so it was empty. Inside is small with some seatings and tables with bar area. Once we sat down we took a look at the menu and placed our order We got tsunama crisp and divers scallop appetizer to start. They were both good but tsunama crisp was our favorite. Scallops were good but pairings sauce and salad in the middle was ok. Garlic noodle was okay as well. Bit strong on the soy sauce but needed a bit more depth of flavor or sweetness. Sushi was good. I personally liked the eel roll. Service was good and waitress was attentive. Overall it's a solid asian restaurant offering decent sushi and asian food in the area. However it's not unique since they don't offer m anything that is significantly different from other asian restaurants. Since it's a bit far from where i'm located not sure if i'll return unless I'm already in the area.

Tucked away in the Corrigan Financial complex just off Aquidneck you will find this awesome sushi/ramen factory! The service is definitely on point and very attentive to your needs. Quickly sat on a Saturday afternoon and took a look over the specials menu and just had to try the Sushi Pizza. Interesting concept and very filling, hot starter for more than just yourself for sure. The sushi rice is fried to create the base and then the toppings with protein selection is applied. I tried it with spicy salmon and it was good, little light with protein, but flavorful. For my main I went with spicy miso ramen which comes with three tempura shrimp as well. It was a hefty meal for one and needless to say I brought home my future meal as I could not make it through everything. The broth had a light to medium spice level and hit the ramen spot. There is a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails as well, I opted for some green tea which was hot and warmed me up perfectly. The vibe is relaxing and casual to easily enjoy group conversations if you have company with you. There is bar seating along with general seating booths or tables throughout the restaurant. If you haven't tried this tucked away gem, worth hitting up and tackling the menu for another awesome sushi/ramen shop on the island!

The broth was dark in color and it had a good kick to it, but not a lingering or "make you cough spicy". The noodles were made fresh and the boiled eggs were fantastic. The bill game with two hard candies and cost around $50. Good value, good food, and good service.

Food was okay, the calamari taste like fish sticks and my husband and kids like fish sticks but I don't so I didn't eat that. My philly roll was okay but my husband and kids all loved their rolls so it's always nice when your kids are satisfied with the food. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'd give this place another chance because it is 5 minutes away from my house but the service and overall experience was mid.
