Drinks. Apricot martini and DragonFly old fashioned.
    Leslie B.

We gave the Dragonfly bar a 4.5 star rating. We only stopped in for drinks, but they were tasty and well made. I ordered an apricot martini, and my partner went with the Wolf Jam. Both were balanced, flavorful, and worth coming back for. The prices were a little elevated for the area, but the quality matched it, and we ended up stopping in twice during our stay. It was a fun spot to unwind, and we would go again.

Food was solid here. The omelette was good but the potatoes felt me like reheated leftovers. Latte underwhelmed a bit on multiple days. Service was always very nice and good. Ambiance was fine, nothing special

I went here with my boss after a day of work. It was recommended by a coworker. The food was very good and filling. The service was good, nothing to write home about. The atmosphere of the place is kind of confusing. I suppose when I consider it's in a hotel it makes more sense. It just felt very segregated in terms of seating. Would recommend!

OMG the food at Hotel Zaza/Dragonfly was delish! Tucked inside this luxurious boutique is a sexy vibe. The beautiful bartender Jessica was delightful and a true mixologist. Not to mention she was also the perfect city guide for recommendations of things to do! The blue crab lemon butter linguine was to die for. Yummmmm. They have a dj on Saturday nights so check them out & have some bites along with dancing all night! This restaurant is #BarbieApproved

Caesar Salad, Filet, Cheesecake So this was a stupendously mediocre meal, but it was pharmaceutical sponsored and free, so what can you do. Caesar salad was just alright. Filet was decidedly not medium rare and so meh. Cheesecake was bland too. My friend hated the veggie option. Service was very fast though, I'll give them that

This place is so freaking good. I got their kale Caesar salad with chicken for my entree and it was truly great. Not sure if it was worth the 25$ but once in a while is okay to splurge. It's inside of a hotel called hotel ZaZa which also lets you face the pretty pool, giving you a nice spot to take pictures in. And to top it off, our waitress was so sweet!! Very cute spot for a girls day out or a nice date night.

Decided to go to a new restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Dragonfly was the perfect option. The service from the valet to the table was outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. We also really liked the ambiance. Felt like home with a comfortable elegant and artistic twist.

Eclectic and intimate dining experience inside Hotel! The atmosphere here was unique and elegant. Food was delicious & service was extremely personable. We came for a late lunch and there were very few people there. The volcano salt garlic fries were one of the TOP fries I've ever had. The chicken fried chicken portion was sizable and delicious with their house made honey and ranch. The seared ahi tuna tostadas were warm and cooked on the outside, but cool and uncooked on the inside which gave it an interesting flavor profile. Ambiance: posh & upscale Pictured: -crispy buttermilk-dipped chicken breast -seared ahi tuna tostadas -volcano salt garlic fries -chicken-fried wagyu steak po'boy Price: $$$ Dine in Street parking

Where fancy dining meets great customer service. My time at @zazadallas 's Dragonfly Restaurant was nothing short of amazing from our fantastic server who made me an awesome nonalcoholic drink to the delicious food. The service here was truly one of a kind! I love how we were not rushed to get up from our tables and we literally just enjoyed our time there. It was magnificent. Loved the vibe. Will definitely visit again!

my friends and i came here to celebrate my birthday. we had a small mishap with my reservation, but the staff was happy to accommodate my large party, and we enjoyed the evening on a heated patio (LOVE heated patios). the food was good! i don't think i'll be getting the chicken again, but i did try a friend's spare ribs, and those were incredible (tender and flavorful). cocktails were pretty okay, a little expensive, but they are unique and fun to enjoy with friends. the ambiance was very beautiful. the whole evening was intimate, cozy, and delightful. there was even a dj who came later on in the evening, and my friends and i loved what he was spinning that night! server joanne (sorry if i misspelled) was also incredibly attentive and friendly! overall great spot! the price point for things was likely my only complaint!

Mmmm lunch at the Dragonfly was delicious! A colleague and I split the filet after stuffing our faces with deviled eggs and truffle fries for starters. They have a delicious gluten free option for their Caesar salad which was refreshing to learn about. We also grabbed some oat milk iced coffees and loved them. Perfect atmosphere and a great spot to grab lunch with a friend/work team.

    All American Breakfast*

A chic little restaurant located in a boutique hotel. Not an extensive menu but had a good mix of staple breakfast items and some unique dinner options. The lamb lollipops were fantastic! The All American breakfast was solid. The service was as expected for a hotel setting. This place is a good convenient option if you're in the area.

Services was amazing! Deja, hopefully I'm spelling this right, helped our table of 22 with no complaints. She gave great recommendations, got all of our orders right and didn't miss a beat. Lamb lollipops were so good, our table ordered at least 5 plates. The braised short ribs were full of flavor and fall off the bone. I ordered the lobster spaghetti and 10/10. Every one enjoyed their meals. Drinks are about $17-$20 a piece so it can seem pricey but the quality of food and service is worth it.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

That's not where the differences stop as the Archive menu provides more traditional cocktails and a diverse array to choose from, with drinks you may be more familiar with. Alchemy on the other hand offers a more experimental approach to their drink menu, including creative cocktails that seem eclectic and never been tried before, using unusual ingredients or prepared in a unique way, but if you are feeling adventurous, I'd highly recommend trying the latter. Keep in mind, when entering Alchemy, the inside is very dark so if you want to see properly I would recommend sitting outside if it isn't too hot. To start, my friends and I ordered the truffle fries for the table and they were highly ranked in my opinion for best truffle fries in Dallas. They were perfectly crispy and flavored well with the truffle seasoning. For drinks, from the alchemy menu, we ordered the I Dream of Kiwi (my choice), Kaleidoscope Eyes, and Inappropriate Beet Pun. My drink was made up of bamboo tea gin, kiwi coconut water, plum wine, and kiwi boba. I liked the sweetness mixed with tartness and the boba balls added a nice touch. Additionally we ordered the pineapple soft serve margaritas (it was my first time experiencing soft serve margs) and I really enjoyed Apothecary's version. The pineapple flavor was tangy alongside the creaminess of the ice cream. And there was a nice chili salt garnish (similar to tajin) added on top. For food, I ordered the Lil' Thuggies, a hilarious name for a dish that is actually very delicious. It consisted of popcorn chicken nuggets, cooked in sweet tea brine and spiced flour, served with a side of epazote ranch and korean wing sauce respectively. My friends ordered the Japanese elotes and Muhammara (roasted red pepper & walnut spread, greek oil, sea salt, microgreens, grilled baguette). Both very tasty as well, with the elotes having a cream sauce on top. Overall I can't wait to go back to apothecary and maybe try the other side next time.

Ordered a couple "Over the Counter" cocktails - frozen pineapple margarita and an old fashioned. Happy hour also included a lot of food options so we chose to just order a bunch off of that - Icelandic Hotdog, Caviar Chip (both bite sized), oysters, beef cheek tacos, and a caesar salad and burger to split. Was more than enough! We also tried the frozen Irish Coffee and Horseplay (horseradish agua fresca) and then went for our second reservation at Alchemy. Alchemy is more experimental. Here we tried a kimchi based cocktail and the sauerkraut cake. Food and drinks were all phenomenal and the atmosphere of both bars was moody and elegant. Definitely plan to come back to try more drinks! All wait staff were very friendly and the owner even stopped by to chat with us.

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us and seated us at the table we had reserved in the Leopard Room. Initially, we were placed at a small half table along the wall. We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay. They were not bad, but they also were not particularly memorable. Given the speakeasy concept, I expected a bit more creativity in both flavor and presentation. We ordered the Melting Clock Elixir, Persistence of Berries, Cotton Candy Cloud, and the Surrealist 75. As the night went on, the space became much more crowded and louder once the DJ started playing. If you are hoping to have a relaxed conversation and catch up with friends, this might not be the best spot later in the evening.
