    Chicken Teriyaki

I had an very good experience ordering take out from Dragon's Place, and I definitely recommend that you give it a try! We ordered Chicken Teriyaki, Orange Chicken, fried rice, and the gyoza. As you see in the pictures, the portions are very generous and you will definitely have left overs. The prices very affordable especially considering how much food you get. This is not gourmet Chinese food, so it competes with other strip mall joints and Panda Express, but beats most (if not all of them) in St. Louis. We spent about $35 for a lot of food. I will dock them one star because they had not prepared 2-3 of the items on their menu that I initially wanted, but the entrees that I did order was delicious. The gyoza were not my favorite. They were kind of bland, but the kid loved them. They're not bad, but nothing too flavorful or exciting. If you are looking for Chinese take out, I definitely recommend this place. I also want to address a comment made by another reviewer, who was displeased that their Chinese food was made by Mexican workers. YES, this place is owned and operated by a Mexican family. This is part of contemporary cultural landscape and cultural economy. Here as an article from St. Louis Magazine about the restaurant that I enjoyed reading: https://www.stlmag.com/dining/dragons-place-chinese-food-with-a-mexican-connection/

Gross. Beak in order. Chicken? (I hope)

Honestly, the food was pretty good for the price..... .... Until I was getting through my hot braised chicken and found a literal fried CHICKEN BEAK in my order. Pros: At least it's chicken Cons: What parts of the chicken are they actually using for this meat? Disgusting. Stay away if you care what you put into your body.

Great cheap Chinese food can't complain too much! The combo platters are great and come with fried rice and crab ragoons or egg roll. Got the orange chicken and it was pretty good. Some of the "chicken" pieces were just fried dough tho haha.

This place is the best. It has HUGE entree potions, and it's perfectly prepared American Chinese food. General Tso's was incredibly crispy and the sauce was on the thicker side so it clings to the meat and doesn't just pool in the bottom of the box. The flavor was also on point. The pork fried rice uses onions and scallions and is very well seasoned (they were even accommodating and made it spicey). They don't use those gross frozen peas and carrots. The crab Rangoon was also very crispy with a filling that tasted fresh and not frozen. The portion of Generals was HUGE. Plenty for two meals. The quality and freshness of this place blew me away, especially because it was delivered! (And I dont live super close by) If they can keep my Tso's and Crabby Rags crispy and hot upon delivery you better believe I'll keep eating here for a long time. Go get some!

Was really hoping this restaurant would live up the reviews. Lots of food for the price but not that good. Say away from the potstickers.

The food came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The popcorn chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, the stir-fry was delicious, and the sizzling pepper beef was easily one of the highlights -- incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and there wasn't a single disappointing dish on the table. This was our first time trying ChiliSpot and it absolutely lived up to the recommendation. One of those places where you're already looking at the menu deciding what you want to try next time before you've even finished your meal. Fantastic food, great experience, and an easy 5 stars. The lamb pieces used to be small but they are huge now! Appreciate the owners taking the feedback. I think they make the tofu in house. They are huge thick soft pieces with enough crispness on the outside. It's a good introduction to how seriously Chinese people take tofu and how in other countries they have a huge variety of tofu, vs the select few we have in the U.S. And I used to be partial to the spicy fried fish at cate zone, but chilispot has upgrade this dish a lot. It's perfectly crispy and hot!!! Even if you don't like fish, it's a great dish and also makes for great leftovers. I know the fried chicken is popular but I find the chicken pieces are too small. Even with two heavy eaters, we still have leftovers for another meal

The bún bò Huế is hands-down one of the best we've ever had. The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and we keep telling ourselves we're going to order something different... but we can't stop coming back to the bún bò Huế! The shaking beef is incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the beef curry is another standout that's absolutely worth ordering. Everything tastes fresh, especially the generous plates of herbs and garnishes. The cilantro, basil, bean sprouts, and limes are always fresh, crisp, and plentiful, which really elevates every dish. The service has been outstanding every time we've visited. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. The menu has such a huge variety that we've officially decided to make it a date-night challenge to work our way through the entire menu. At this rate, that may take a while because we keep ordering the bún bò Huế over and over! This place is an absolute gem. If you enjoy authentic Vietnamese food, do yourself a favor and give Mai Lee a try. 10/10, highly recommend.

Maybe they're fine on other days, but it took two and a half hours for my meal to be ready, long after the quoted time online. I sat outside in my car for a while when I went to pick it up, and the place was totally packed with people waiting for their food. Perhaps they should have capped orders or something? I'm sure they were exhausted and working nonstop. The pepper chicken was pretty good, except it was missing the egg I paid to add, as well as the rice. After waiting so long, I was really annoyed about the order missing the extras. It was an extra $5 to order online, too. I'm giving them grace because they were way overworked that night, and the food was pretty good. But they definitely need to cap orders or give more accurate time estimates. There were a lot of furious (probably hangry) people there who left without their orders.

I've been looking for a new Chinese spot that delivers on Sunday, since that's apparently the only day I crave Chinese food, and most restaurants are closed on Sunday, which is another reason why I really like this place!!!
