This might be my 2nd or 3rd review of Drain Runner Plumbing. Not sure. I own a 60-year-old house, and such houses often need plumbing work. The first time I called Drain Runner it was because I had a drain problem, and they were magnificent. I learned then that they do other kinds of plumbing, too. Today I called them because I had 1 big problem (water pipe broken) and 2 small problems (loose faucet handles). The plumber that they sent was wonderful; he was capable, polite, communicative, and didn't mind my dog sniffing his shoes. And of course he fixed the problem As it turns out, he fixed the "big problem" in about 5 minutes but the "small problems" took a lot longer. Whatever. He got it done, wrote it up, and left with a smile. The price was pleasing. I will absolutely call them the next time I need a plumber. (Next year my house will be 61 years old). read more

Don't be surprised if no one shows up for your scheduled appointment and you have to reach out to find out what's going on. This happened to me more than once. Eric is an excellent professional, but unfortunately he works for a company with disorganized scheduling and terrible customer service. Extremely Negligent and Unprofessional!!! After 6 exhausting months of repairs to our downstairs due to Drain Runner Plumbing, I finally have the bandwidth to share our experience. Drain Runner was subcontracted by our contractor, Brandon @ 3B Construction! The negligence from their plumber, Eric, caused devastating damage to our home. He failed to cap an exposed pipe when doing the proper plumbing work for our master remodel. This resulted in our entire downstairs flooding. To make matters worse, the plumbing he installed for our bathroom sinks was so poorly done, that it would never pass a standard home inspection. He basically used dishwashing cable to fasten bathroom sinks! We had to hire a new plumber to fix this immediately! When we reached out for repair help, Drain Runner denied the insurance claim for the damage they caused. They claimed no liability!!!! We had to file with our own homeowners insurance. Fortunately, our insurance company went right after them! Lori and Scott, who manage the company, were consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the process. How a company can choose to employ a plumber so unqualified is careless is beyond me. I would strongly urge anyone considering Drain Runner Plumbing to look elsewhere. I do Property Management and Real Estate Sales and have used Drain Runner maybe the last 20 years. Its not always a simple fix and most tenants or even homeowners-sellers & buyers dont understand the issues of timing and damage, and how pipes are, etc.. Drain Runner is always responsive. They've done everything from listen to why the low flow toilet now doesn't flush everything down like it used to now that the water pressure is at a normal pressure to fully rerouting foundation plumbing after those 1990 Polybutylene pipes start breaking apart after 25 to 30 years of use. They are fair and honest and I trust their judgement. Have they ever made a mistake in 20 years? sure, who hasn't, but they owned up to it and fixed the issue at their costs. One thing about plumbing, is that they cant see everything so just because one thing is fixed doesn't mean you won't have problems somewhere else linked to that first problem. They are also used to working with insurance companies and realize the the fine print now a days is getting longer and longer.. Check your fine print of what your insurance won't cover is super important upfront. Meanwhile, make sure your renters if you have some, have their own policy to cover you know... their stuff. I feel secure knowing they are the ones onsite to do the job correctly and the most efficient and cost effective way for my clients. read more

This plumbing company was contracted by the management company where I rent- I was told multiple times by the management company they would reach out to me when they were headed/at the property but that never happened. They reported to the management company that their plumber had made aware of "non-flushable" wipes being the issue for the back ups and in their reports blaming me for the issue (i proved they said flushable on the packaging). Not once did they come to ask to see the types of wipes and they never spoke to me or intended to speak to anyone at the property, they provided false information regarding communications to our management which led to disputes with them regarding the invoices. When I attempted to reach out to them the woman on the phone did not identify herself and as soon as I provided the address I was calling about she started berating me about the wipes usage and being nasty about what i do in my home and refused to tell the information I needed to prove to the management company their people never spoke to me. She shouted at me with her unsolicited opinions and went as far as reaching back out to the management company to complain that I was rude... they have been terrible to deal with and have created an unwarranted issue for me read more

Selling my home and needed to get a requested drain scope. Drain runner came out and scoped the drains for any roots or debris with their high tech camera. They showed me where they thought there might be issues and recommended a hydro blast and a clean out in the front of my house. They scheduled the work and gave me a detailed estimate.
