We love the new Drakes in Ofallon! Their apps are so good and absolutely loved the pretzels with beer cheese. Their drinks are also super yummy and we definitely had a few. My husband even enjoyed his burger and he is SUPER picky. Will definitely be back on the regular. read more

We went today for lunch. It was a wonderful experience. The big garage doors were all open. The hostess took our temps and had us sit at tables far away from others. The beer was very cold, the burger was awesome with crispy edges and a great bun. The highlight was the "Crab Rangoon Roll." The Chopped Salad was also devious. The meal was great and everyone was having a nice time. We will go back again for sure. read more

I wasn't a fan of sushi until I dined here. The sushi is absolutely delicious and refreshing. Drake's has a pretty solid menu, but not very much variety. I've only been about 6 times, but I feel like I've had everything they have to offer, but that's just me. I don't like to eat at the same restaurant often. Atmosphere is really nice. Food is ok, although didn't try the sushi yet. I was a bit disappointed at me only getting 4-8 sweet potato fries with my meal. We find ourselves here on a Saturday... So, Covid sux. In OFallon, I'L they were allowed to serve with gas heaters. I am awaiting to see this place hit its stride. The staff rocks, and now that you can sit near a heat source makes this place great for an upscale mini chain. Ok, the beer menu is excellent! But, I'm a cocktail guy, and this is a micro beer/micro whiskey place beyond reproach. I said micro chain, but dedicated to great American Food and out of no where, Sushi!!! Waitstaff was nice, and were attentive. Unfortunately that's about as good as it got. Soft pretzel appetizer was weird, couldn't down the super fluffy "pretzels" with ultra fine powdery salt that reminded me of cinnamon-sugar mix and fake-tasting cheese sauce was disappointing. The order came with the wrong sides, but right for the other person so we had to move food from one plate to another. Personally I like fries that has at least some sort of crunch and are at least hot, these were lukewarm and limp like a noodle. The chicken strips were good and a lot of them. Mini burgers were ok, too, but nothing earth shattering. All-in-all an expensive $48 lunch for 2 (not including the tip); maybe we should have went for the sushi...? read more

I've never been to Drakes before but they got it going ON!!! Lanetta was our server and her service was great. I never leave reviews for places but this deserved it. We got the brunch burger, the mini buffalo chicken sliders and the pretzels with cheese and all the food was 10/10!!! Good music and TVs all around. We stopped by due to a recommendation. We're from "across the river" and not usually a fan of a chain restaurant but we were told it was good. We sat at the bar - arrived about 6:15 on a Friday night. Jess was the bartender and she was fabulous. She was killing it. Sis didn't stop at all the entire time we were there and we never wanted for anything. She never stopped smiling and being helpful and she was working hard. The food was good. The drinks were better. I just can't see my self going back to this place with the outrageous prices. I expected a better club sandwich, but McAllisters is better. their Mac and cheese was not Mac, but shells, and very little cheese. the dynamite roll was not tradition, but good even though the wasabi was crap powder mix and not handmade like at most sushi places. where I live, a dynamite roll is 6 bucks and not 17$. And I didn't even try the miso soup, because it was 7 flipping dollars!!! Miso soup cost a buck at my local sushi place. Go here if you want mediocre pub food, but want to look rich by paying the crazy prices. read more

The server was super nice but the hostess was rude and seemed inconvenienced by every customer coming in, often quoting much longer wait times than what people were actually waiting. The wait staff was extremely nice and helpful. The drink menu was nice. I had a flight of 4 beers for $5. Can't beat that. It was social distanced so felt safe there. Now for the bad...and that is the food. I ordered the beer cheese and bacon burger. I guess the theme are smashed burgers because they come out flat. Had a lot of meat falling out of the bun. When the food got to me the burger was cold. And not even like it had been sitting out too long. Just was Luke warm to cool. Really disappointing. Imagine making velvets cheese dip and when it starts to cool the cheese starts to clump, well that's how it was when the burger got to my table. He gave me a bite of it. I don't know how he even ate it. My blt salad wasn't anything special and was swimming/drowned in dressing. I tried to mop some out but we didn't have enough napkins. We were told it would be a 25 min wait and got a text in 17 minutes that our table was ready and they promptly seated us. That part was just fine. The problem is that no one talked to us after that. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks which were alright not much alcohol for 10$ but bartenders all very nice and friendly. SO SO GOOD!!!! Came in lastnight around 730, waited 30 minutes which wasn't bad, had sushi, fire, miso soup, FIRE. My husband got a burger and that was amazing along with the fries!! not to mention the food came out pretty quick considering it was wall to wall (with covid guidelines obviously) we also had the 90 oz beer tower, they offer a 120 oz too!!
