All of our guests loved the grounds, they are really the perfect setting for the weekend. Thies and Brandon, the property managers, are very cool dudes and were just super easy to work with. Cathedral City has some pretty rigid rules, but Thies told us how to set up our speakers to be loud enough for a good time without breaking any city ordinances. During our stay there, we used pretty much all of the grounds throughout the weekend. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and the dinner/reception were all held in different areas. Some of our friends played tennis in the morning, and we used the big pool and hot tub as well. The smaller pool was pretty cold as we were there in March, but heating the big pool was definitely worth it for our Saturday, post-wedding pool party. We did not have any issues with the plumbing, it was great having our friends stay with us for the weekend, and again, Thies and Brandon were excellent to work with. Highly recommend this place if you want to make your wedding a weekend affair to remember. Hopefully we can book this for our 10 and 20 year anniversaries. Thanks again.

If I was blindfolded and brought here, I would think I was in Costa Rica or some other tropical destination. The wedding party got to enjoy a few nights' stay in the houses of this property while the guests stayed at nearby hotels. The houses are charming with rustic furniture and comfy beds. We loved the main pool with all the inter-tubes; just what the doctor ordered the day after the wedding! The bride & groom brought in a dj, bartender and catering service they knew. I guess they had Soho Tacos catering the night of the wedding, which I love! Wish I had known. It would have probably helped me out the next morning!

Free to visit and you can enjoy the cactus garden and wander around the gardens. Museum and gift shop as well as cafe is on sites. But this visit, we took the tour of the Annenberg property. Tour is about 90 min and about 60.00 per person. They do recommend you come a little early to view and enjoy the main building where the cactus garden was but we were a little behind and made it right before the tour started. The tour host 7 person per guided tours. We start off at check in and then met with our guide, Hema. At the beginning you start off on the golf carts where your guide gives you an introduction to the family and the property. The gate into the main residence is around the corner from the public property. It's amazing to see how someone turned a barren desert landscape into an oasis. The brief cart ride to main door was quite nice. A massive golf property hidden in the desert. Once you approached the main property, it's welcomed by a massive water feature. A knock on the double doors lead you into the lobby of the house. Just walking into the property, it's a true MCM oasis. To find out the property only has just the primary bedroom was insane as it was massive. Theres no picture allowed inside but outside was fine. Hema, very detailed in everything she explained was very sweet and detail oriented. Walking through the different rooms and seeing all the amazing things collected by both Walter and Leonore Annenberg was quite interesting. The office which house all of Walter's work, pictures of family, friends and political figures. The different room that's in the main house, their amazing artwork which some are the original pieces. Then you have the way they lived, very elegantly. Each room had their own unique style. The designer and architect sure had their hands full with detail designed of everything on site. The furniture, one of a kind design with amazing embroidery. Walter had an amazing collection of artwork and sculptures. Seeing them throughout the house and the way it was displayed in different room of the house was spectacular. Even the kitchen was nice. Still fully functional as it's still used for summits. The outside alone is one in a million. The massive property with many lakes that is fully stocked for fishing. The golf course which is a golfers heaven. And then you have the pool with a million dollar view of the mountains as the backdrop. Not only the main house, there's the guest house which is utilized for guest. And they're know by different color rooms. And by that, it's fully decorated in the color palette. That building also all looks out to the pool and mountain. Leonore, with her favorite color yellow also had a rose garden designed in the property. The tour lets you inside the lives of the Annenberg and the amazing lives they've lived. Housing major political figures, celebrities and the amazing parties had. The massive art collection and endless photos of everyone, it was a sight to see. The tours were either sold out or had one spot available. There were 2 of us. I would recommend purchasing tickets online before you arrive to Palm Springs because of the popularity of the tours. You cannot purchase tickets by phone, email or in person. There are no waitlists either. We walked among the garden area, visited the small but great gift shop, watched the movie about Sunnylands and viewed the current exhibition. The next time we're in the Palm Springs area I will definitely plan ahead and purchase tickets way in advance.

My son was really excited about that. When we went they had a complimentary drink and candy bar. Drinks they offer are limited but still decent. We did get some food there as well. We got their nachos, Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders for my son. Both the nachos and Mac and cheese were really good. Love nachos and wanted to keep eating them. The next morning we went for breakfast at Pinzimini. They have a buffet option and also have a standard breakfast menu to choose items from. My husband got their brioche French toast and I selected to do their buffet. I know he liked the French toast. I liked the items offered in their buffet. They had a mix of mini pastries, cooked items, fruit. I primarily stuck with their pastries and fruit. Overall it was a nice location. Golf course is big. We did enjoy the range balls, but as early risers, I would have appreciated access to the spa or pool earlier in the morning. Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets had what looked like an oil or grease stain, the closet door was broken, and the overall furnishings and finishes felt worn and dated rather than well maintained. This is very much a family resort, so that is worth keeping in mind if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Even at the adults-only Paloma Pool, children were jumping into the water and splashing guests' drinks while parents appeared unconcerned. That made it difficult to relax in what was supposed to be a peaceful setting. On a positive note, the entrance walkway, lobby, and open-air courtyard are beautiful and make for a strong first impression. Unfortunately, that charm does not extend to the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of a refresh.
