Wasn't told certain attractions wouldn't be able to be used or closed at a certain time. Wasn't told the price didn't include certain things. Manager and employees chose not to either A: reimburse us and we leave. B: discount our 120$ purchase. C: offer us another day to return and leave 10 minutes into our trip today. Not smart as a business owner/manger. You want people to return. You DO NOT want to ruin rapport with families and avoid them ever coming back. We are in there for 10 minutes before we realized half the attractions were shut down. If you like to be scammed out of money and like employees who don't give you a heads up as you're paying 120$ for an hour, then come here. If you like honesty, updated websites/pricing and accuracy, polite employees, then don't come here. As an employee, your worker should have gave us a heads up as we never have been here and drove an hour after work today just to take my kids. Disappointed. Will not return. Will not recommend. Sorry. Don't like being scammed and inaccuracy.

Arrived around 10am (a little too late for a hot summer day in my opinion) and after buying our tickets, we took a look at the giant map and knew where we wanted to go...the giraffes of course! The property itself was gorgeous, super clean and we went during the week which likely cut down on the amount of folks there. Totally great. We met Kelly the giraffe and got to feed her. Such a fun experience! All of the staff here were kind, patient, and simply wonderful! I Loved how there was a blend of employees and gracious volunteers here who were all clearly passionate about the park. After we were all done, we headed to the cafe and grabbed a quick beer and pretzel. Perfect little snack! Great and fun times at The Living Desert! It was great taking a few hours to see the animals and even getting to feed one!

The weather was perfect for walking around, and the whole place felt peaceful and easy to enjoy. I've also been to the San Diego Zoo, but this one personally felt more special to me in a different way. I loved the desert setting, the open space, and the relaxed atmosphere. It didn't feel overwhelming or like we had to rush to see every single animal. It was more about enjoying the day, walking around, exploring, and taking everything in. Of course, the giraffes completely stole my heart. You can feed them for $10, and while there was a small line, it was absolutely worth it. Getting that close to them and being able to take photos was definitely one of the highlights of the visit. Overall, this is such a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable place to spend the day. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially during the cooler months.

P. promptly returned my call and advised me that Michael or Alvin would be happy to look at my problem. Michael greeted my and quietly looked at my pump and patiently listened to my predicament. He took my cat water dispenser and water pump to the back and within three minutes returned with the pump cleaned and operating. No objections or superior attitude, just very exceptional customer service. If you need anything aquarium related taken care of in Palm Desert, I highly recommend Zen for their selection and their awesome assistance.

I was impressed by the water world inside this store with a truly magnificent tank by the register that had the coolest stingray swimming around. I was told that the owner, JP, has extensive knowledge about everything koi ponds and is a wonderful resource for advising on the installation and required equipment. I wasn't sure that koi would live in this hot desert environment but apparently they do just fine! Zen had a great selection of koi fish in multiple sizes and all the accoutrements to go with them. If I go through with the project I will definitely hit JP up!

We arrived 30 minutes early to set up, checked in, and the moment we walked inside it felt like a heatwave -- over 95 degrees inside the facility. Nobody had called to let us know the AC was out. Not a single heads-up, no option to cancel, reschedule, or make other arrangements. If I had known, I absolutely would have rescheduled, especially because my daughter had been so excited for this party. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant, and I physically couldn't even go downstairs because the heat was unbearable. My shirt was drenched within minutes. Worst of all, my little girl didn't even get to jump because she kept saying, "It's too hot." My heart broke for her. When I called the general manager, Bianca Parr, she openly admitted that "her boss" told her not to inform any parties about the AC outage and to just "take the negative reviews." How is that acceptable? They had 8 parties booked that day, and none of the families were informed. That's not only unprofessional but also unsafe for kids and adults in those conditions.
