The hot honey pizza was GREAT and so were the pastas. Everything else was chilis quality

We had a whole day planned to get some food and then go watch the phantom of the opera at the pantages. We wanted a new experience that was memorable. Having never eaten at a rooftop location we searched for what was close and had good reviews. This location looked great. Not being from the area we pulled up and saw the valet staff and asked how much it was for parking? They quoted us $65!! We asked if there's public parking nearby and they said around the corner which was only $15. Grateful for that info but I don't think it would've been offered had I not asked. We arrived and were seated. The attendant was friendly but didn't seem very knowledgeable about really anything. When asked what kind of chips they served he said "regular chips" I asked tortilla or?? Then he clarified saying "like lays potato chips." We asked for a blended margarita in which he explained they don't have a blender. When asked what the margarita contained he said he didn't know. It started getting hot as the sun moved and started setting. There was no shade covering the area we were sitting which I assume is strange for a rooftop restaurant. We placed our orders and half the order came out and the other half came out 10 minutes later. The last thing missing was a Cesar salad.... A SALAD took longer than the rest of the food. The food was ok, definitely not worth the price and a double shot of patron silver in a margarita SHOULD NOT cost $60+ RIDICULOUS! At time of checkout I gave the attendant 2 cards to split the bill on with specific instructions saying $100 on 1 card and the $200+ on the other. I made sure to make eye contact with him so he was paying attention to avoid any mistakes. He even said it back to me. A couple minutes later I get a charge for the entire $300+ bill on my card AND the other person STILL got charged $100. He apologized but said he would correct it which was very frustrating because I already knew how this would play out. He called his manager to cancel the transaction and then charged it correctly. As a result I had $500+ pending charges on my card of which only $200 was valid. I explained my frustration with the hold and how it isn't a small amount to tie up. The manager got involved and talked to me as if we were friends saying "hey papi I got chime too so it'll be back on your card by tomorrow." I explained, I was planning on using that money to buy stuff at the pantages. He again apologized. As I was walking out I ran into him again and he took it upon himself to stop me and say "hey papi, I made sure they finalized the transaction right now so you should have your money back within the hour" I thanked him for his efforts but doubted it would happen. That was on 7/29/26 it is now 8/3/26 and I STILL have a $300+ pending charge on my card that I can't use that is most likely going to delay my rent being paid for August because of the amount. The staff seem very careless as if they just hired anyone off the streets up to and including the manager. On my way out I read the pricing chart by the valet area and the $65 was for staying the night, while there was a $20 option for parking that was never offered. Overall I will NOT be going back here again nor would I recommend anybody go until they make some corrections. The only thing I can assume is their staff is used to working with people who are drunk and not really paying attention to service given the environment. Stay away if you're looking for a GOOD memorable outing

Ordered the espresso martini and vibed out. I do believe they should carry more music selections with some updates to more legendary artists considering it is a vinyl bar.

The service was impeccable--everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special. We had to get the Michelada Oysters again because I had been craving them since our last visit. They were just as amazing as I remembered--fresh, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addicting. For Dine LA, I started with the Tostada Campechana, which was like an elevated ceviche with scallops, tuna, yellowtail, avocado, and a citrus sesame sauce. Everything tasted super fresh and the citrus gave it the perfect balance. The Bone Marrow Mole was rich, flavorful, and came with a generous portion and toast. For my main course, I had the skirt steak, which was cooked perfectly--tender, well-seasoned, and delicious with the green sauce. The homemade tortillas were amazing too. We ended with the Dulce de Leche Panna Cotta, and it was the perfect finish--creamy, smooth, not overly sweet, and so good we practically cleaned the plate. Amazing food, great portions, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Ka'teen definitely delivered. I would absolutely come back again.

On their website it stated that the $25 Saturday girl brunch deal was available till 4pm so we came at 3:35pm for our 3:30pm reservation. However, the hostess that sat us told us at 3:42 that their kitchen stopped serving this deal at 3:45. We were a confused, disappointed and feeling a bit misled. After some debate my friends and I almost left but they made an exception for us to get the deal which was very kind of them. Our server Bo was also extremely kind and lifted our spirits! He seriously made the brunch more special and enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully they can make the availability of the deal more clear for others cause it can be really frustrating to make the trip to this restaurant just for the information online to be false.Other wise, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. - valet or street parking - Small and large group seating - Indoor and outdoor seating

Brunch was $25 each person and included a starter, an entree and a dessert. They also have $10 mimosas with lots of juices to choose from. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They started us off with chips and salsa which was so good! Then we had our first round of mimosas, I got cranberry for my first two rounds and then switched over to an espresso martini with whiskey (and if you haven't tried it YOU MUST!) Not just here but everywhere! For my starter I got the berries and cream which I usually don't do but it was so good I'm glad I went outside of my box. The Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries were amazing. For my entree, I ordered the French Toast, I did not realize it was stuffed with some sort of apricot or fruit jam and was not the biggest fan of this. For dessert I went with the churros and was left feeling a bit let down. The churros needed salt to bring out the sweetness, they tasted a bit bland and the sauce that came with did not add to the flavors. Overall because it's such a cute place, the drinks are good and priced decently as well as having a large enough menu where the next visit I feel I could choose something different I would 10/10 go back. So stay tuned for the follow up review!

In between performances there was social dancing, with a lot of great dancers dressed to the nines.
