    Ice oatmilk latte

Andrew, our server was AWESOME! This restaurant, bar, lounge is located at the W Hotel in Hollywood. The vibe was upscale, classy, hipster and glamorous all combined into one. The minute I turned from the lobby and and saw the "Living Room" I was blown away with the simple color scheme and the attention to details in the decor. We chose to sit outside in the outdoor garden (There There) as it was a warm evening and the light was still out. For dinner, I ordered the Thai Style Chicken salad. The portion was generous and it was refreshing. My friends got the Hamachi Tiradito, and the Dungeness Crab Tostada. They both loved their dishes. For dessert, I got the white miso, and green matcha cheesecake. This is a MUST in my opinion. It was creative and not your typical cheesecake. I was intrigued by the combination of miso and matcha, and that's why I ordered it. The tart was crispy and the flavors went well together; each not overpowering the other and not overly sweet combined. Cafe Goldie is open for breakfast. It is in a similar location in the back of the Living Room. The cafe was gorgeous. The ice latte was delicious and the pastries looked good. The prices are on the higher end. If you are in town for a show at the Pantages, this is a great venue for lunch or dinner as it is literally located right across from the theatre. There is valet parking available on site.

We stayed at W Hollywood and had lunch and late night to-go drinks from this restaurant and bar. This is the hotel lobby bar and very stylish. The lunch menu was quite small but the items were very good. We enjoyed tuna tartare, shishito peppers and wagyu sliders. The martinis were very well made. I just didn't like the blue pineapple iced tea. It tasted weird. The service was very friendly each time we were here. The prices were not bad for a hotel in the heart of Hollywood. But the portions were bite sized. It's a good place to have drinks and light bites if you are staying at the hotel.

Patron be ware! They charge a 18% service fee and still expect you to tip! Now if that hasn't turned you off...the food and atmosphere is really lovely! Their pasta with asparagus was chef kiss and it's a cute place to come before the theater that's across the street.

The bar had a nice presentation and calming atmosphere. We ordered two gin martinis with a lemon twist, bao buns and gyoza. The bao buns were a bit sweeter than I anticipated but the pillowy buns made up for it. The gyoza were in a nice spicy sauce with green beans to crunch on. I really enjoyed the gyoza flavors and texture. The service was quick and enjoyed a quick drink and snack before our night's festivities.

I was there in preparation to see Wicked play at Pantages and had a good time. Seated right away and hostess took our drink order. Minutes later received them then took entrees. I had the burger no cheese with fries well done. It was very good and staff was attentive. Restrooms were clean. Only non alcoholic drinks have free refills. Hope to get back to try other items.

Kind of our go to when we go to see a show at the Pantages, the Living Room is located in the W Hotel and it never disappoints. Great location with a wonderful ambiance, our server was happy and witty quick to get us going on a culinary adventure. We all leaned towards the fresh fish and each dish was amazing. Hydrating with delicious cocktails from the bar and so unique. The menu offers a great variety of dishes with so many choices. This is a great place to get a wonderful meal for any occasion when in Hollywood. For us we valet park at the W enjoy great cocktails and cuisine then walk across the street to the Pantages. Don't miss out on the Living Room, it does not disappoint. Bon appetitto

That Purple Drink. Sweet and floral with subtle citrus notes. Seriously awesome, highly recommend.

Stayed at the W Hotel and wanted to make sure we used the $42 destination fee they charge so it doesn't go to waste. Hence, dining at the Living Room for dinner. We decided to sit outside, which was very cozy and comfortable. The space is surrounded by tall buildings so it didn't feel cold. I'm not sure if there's an indoor dining area other than at their bar. So yeah, I didn't do my homework on that; not very Yelp Elite of me... THE FOOD. - Little Gem Caesar | Added chicken for $8 more. Good portion with lots of flavor (and cheese). You rarely see anchovies as part of a Caesar salad nowadays, but they had it and I loved it. Highly recommend. - Turkey Club Sandwich | Layered meats, cheeses, and vegetables between toasted bread. It was actually pretty good, but it may be due to the mayo slathered in there. We chose shoestring fries; golden crispiness and delicious. THE DRUNK DRINKS. - That Purple Drink | Sweet and floral with subtle citrus notes. Seriously awesome, highly recommend. - The Sour | Yea, it's strong and quite sour. Not my favorite, I know this now. THE PARKING. If you're staying at the hotel, you probably valet parked and paid a pretty penny for it. Other than that, you can go to other parking structures nearby and pay a lower rate. COMING BACK? If we end up staying at this hotel again one day, we would definitely dine here again... because of the $42 destination fee. But the food's great too!

It's a beautiful room, and seems more like a bar/lounge than a restaurant. Which makes sense I guess, because it is basically the lobby of the W Hotel. It's a good (but pricey) choice for a light meal & cocktail before a show at the Pantages. Our server, Jeremy was very funny and attentive. It took a bit to get any attention though! We had given ourselves plenty of time, so weren't worried. Definitely recommend giving yourself that extra time if you need to leave for a show! We had a cocktail...martini with blue cheese stuffed olive for my husband and a Damn Good Margarita for myself. My drink was delicious. Very refreshing, and a unique flavor with the addition of the carrot juice. Then we share the beef sliders, fried chicken sliders, and sweet & sour beets. And a side of fries, which were really good. We enjoyed everything. They automatically add an 18% service fee, and we added a bit more tip. They also validate parking, which gives you $5 off the price. ($38!!!) So, for me, not a destination restaurant but definitely convenient.

Food is really good! It was bought out and the food is so delicious and ambience so very beautiful. Especially at night it is cool and classy. Hey they even had a small awards night here! The seating is spacious enough for privacy and yet cozy enough for larger groups. The menu item prices were a bit high but reasonable for the area. Definitely nice vibe here for a sexy night out or just to catch up on roof top. Came here for pre theater dinner and food came out fast with very attentive service. Walking distance to Pantages!

The service was impeccable--everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special. We had to get the Michelada Oysters again because I had been craving them since our last visit. They were just as amazing as I remembered--fresh, perfectly seasoned, and seriously addicting. For Dine LA, I started with the Tostada Campechana, which was like an elevated ceviche with scallops, tuna, yellowtail, avocado, and a citrus sesame sauce. Everything tasted super fresh and the citrus gave it the perfect balance. The Bone Marrow Mole was rich, flavorful, and came with a generous portion and toast. For my main course, I had the skirt steak, which was cooked perfectly--tender, well-seasoned, and delicious with the green sauce. The homemade tortillas were amazing too. We ended with the Dulce de Leche Panna Cotta, and it was the perfect finish--creamy, smooth, not overly sweet, and so good we practically cleaned the plate. Amazing food, great portions, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Ka'teen definitely delivered. I would absolutely come back again.

The restaurant really does feel tucked away once you get inside the Rodeo Collection. The space has warm lighting, colorful details, and a playful Mexican-inspired look that makes dinner feel fun without becoming over-the-top. We started with guacamole and empanadas before moving on to tacos. The Baja Style Fish Tacos were a favorite, with crisp fish, fresh slaw, and chipotle aioli. I also had the Grilled Prime New York Taco, and the steak was cooked really well and stayed tender. With the caramelized onion, guacamole, and salsa fresca, it had plenty of flavor without feeling overloaded. Between those two, we were already very happy with our taco choices, and there wasn't much left on the table by the end. The cocktails were excellent. My friend's drink came served in this ceramic donkey, and we immediately became a little obsessed with it. We loved it enough that the donkey somehow ended up making an appearance in half our photos by the end of the night. Our server checked in throughout dinner and gave us plenty of time to enjoy everything without ever making us feel rushed. We finished with churros, which arrived with dipping sauces and were a very easy decision once dessert was mentioned. They also offer valet, which is especially convenient for a Rodeo Drive dinner. I went in because Instagram kept putting The Hideaway in front of me. For once, my feed was useful. I'd happily come back for the tacos, cocktails, and another round with that donkey making its inevitable cameo.

There were four of us, and the restaurant wasn't very busy, there were plenty of open tables and what seemed like a good amount of staff. When we were first seated, we were given the regular menu. Once we mentioned that we were there for the Girls Brunch, it honestly felt like the demeanor toward our table changed. The service was extremely slow. We waited around 30 minutes between some of the food items, our drinks were forgotten, and we were rarely checked on throughout the meal. I'm usually pretty understanding when restaurants are busy or short-staffed, but that didn't seem to be the case during our visit. Between the long waits, forgotten drinks, and lack of even a simple "How is everything?", the experience became frustrating, especially since we were there to celebrate birthdays. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were mediocre as well, so the overall experience just didn't feel worth the time. I really wanted to enjoy this place and the Girls Brunch seemed like such a fun idea, but based on our experience, I unfortunately won't be returning.

We were honestly falling asleep waiting for the actual entertainment to begin. The entire night felt chaotic from the moment we arrived. You spend time getting dressed up, planning a date night, driving downtown, and trying to be excited for the experience, only to park in a dark lot with feces and urine in the stairway. It was scary and disgusting. We looked past the parking lot situation because we were excited to enjoy our night out, but unfortunately the experience only got worse from there. The waitress kept pushing us to order more items, which made the whole night feel like a money grab. The food was absolutely embarrassing and nothing like what was advertised in the gallery photos on the website. It honestly felt like it came straight from Costco. Other reviews mentioned food being served on paper plates, and we can confirm that we experienced that too. The slice of pizza was literally Costco pizza. The pizza and snacks were cheap, low-quality, and nowhere near what you would expect for the price. It really makes you wonder how many people feel misled by that kind of advertising. There was also a complete lack of control and management. People who did not pay for reserved seating were hovering nearby, ready to take your seat the second you got up to use the restroom or go to the dance floor. We saw multiple people weasel their way into reserved lounge and table areas on the ground floor. At one point, a couple was even going through someone's fur coat and looked close to taking belongings before the actual couple returned. That alone says a lot about the environment and lack of security. The billing situation made it even worse. The waitress quickly skipped through the itemized receipt, which made it easy to miss that a 20% tip had already been included. We ended up tipping on top of the included gratuity and only realized it afterward. At that point, we felt completely scammed. We spent over $300, and the overall experience and management were absolutely not worth it. To be fair, some of the acts were great and the band was great. Separate from that, everything else was as mentioned. Between the deceptive billing, weak drinks that barely seemed to have alcohol, the delayed start, boring dance lessons, embarrassing food, poor seating control, and lack of management, the whole experience was extremely disappointing. I definitely do not recommend reserving seats, drinking at this event, or buying their food. Eat dinner beforehand and do not worry about arriving on time, because the show does not really start until around 10:30 anyway. We left feeling scammed.
