The company comes across as professional and caring but that is not the case. Told it was a one day job for a shower we are now 10 hours into day 2 and still not done. Bye the way this is a replacement to a broken shower that took 4 days for them to get back to me as the bottom of the shower pan cracked and water went into my daughters room. They said they would take care of any damages but they never came out after sealing the crack. They never came to see if there was any damages and never called to see how the water damages were. I selected new countertops from Home Depot. A salesman, Matt, from Dreamstyle contacted me at my home and I made a purchase. Matt measured, then a few days later another man measured, I think he was from Dreamstyle also. He told me Stone Systems would also come by in a few days to measure. Stone Systems did indeed come by and measured and asked many good questions to help in my decision. He said a plumber will come by on day one and disconnect the plumbing, day two they would install the countertops and day 3 the plumber would return to reconnect the plumbing. At this point all is well and I am pleased with the process. Several weeks later Stone Systems arrive with the new countertops. No plumber! The installers were obviously distressed as the plumbing was not disconnected. I contacted Matt and was advised the plumber comes after the countertops installation. The installers advised they could come back with the other half of the countertops later or they could disconnect the plumbing but I would have no water. I chose to have the countertop installed and therefore had no water to the house for twenty-nine hours. The next day the plumber arrives mid afternoon. It is soon discovered my garbage disposal will not connect to the the sink because the connector went away with the old countertops and sink. Had there been a plumber to make the disconnect in the first place this would not have happened! The plumber with my permission goes to Home Depot and buys a new garbage disposal for $120. In addition, he buys a sink strainer for $44.08. I looked on Home Depot website and this strainer sells for $2.34. He also bought a sink rim stopper and charged me $29.35. Home Depot sells it for $10.99. Now, I am writing a check for $217.63 in addition to the countertops. Two things: why do i need Home Depot and Dreamstyle? I should have gone directly to Stone Systems and hired my own plumber. Second, if I were not retired I would have had five separate home visits to deal with. This is in Albuquerque NM I've had several problems with the installation of my gas heater. First, I am given a "time window" when the installers will arrive only to wait the entire time and then get a call well after the promised time "we are running late" or" we need to stop by the shop". My unit arrived without internal components that had to be ordered and arriving 2 weeks later. Then, I was put on the schedule to install in another 2 weeks! And guess what? The technicians arrived and didn't have enough parts to make the stove work so they had to order more parts! I am using my stove and a oil filled space heater to get by with the usual temp in the morning about 60 degrees. I won't have to worry about where to put my Christmas guests jackets as they will need them! Run Forest Run! Dreamstyle has poor communication and just try to navigate through their caller automated system! The only one to return my call is the Sales Manager Rocky Perea. I cannot get Production Manager Tom Chavez or Operations Manager Robert Cordova to return my calls. I don't feel any urgency to bring heat into my home by getting the parts here sooner. After spending a lot of time with a patient salesperson we arrived at the perfect replacement for our patio doors. After they finished customizing them to our exact space, materials, and color they delivered our beautiful bronze colored steel doors. They spent a lot of time making sure that they were straight and level, placed insulation all around and left everything clean. It is a great improvement for our house. read more

Let's just say I wish I would have read the YELP reviews, the BBB complaints and not trusted Ben, Randy or Cade at DreamStyle Roofing. Shame on all of them. I "trusted" Ben's smooth talking during the sales appointment. In October of 2020, during the worst year ever, for everyone, I spent and financed a $30k roof on a little 1598 sq. ft. condo because I was in desperate need of a new roof that was leaking and I took a leap of faith with DreamStyle. It has been a nightmare and the worst job I have ever heard of. Every company, contractor, repair man that goes on my roof talks about the ponding, the puddles and the soft spots. I have a traditional flat roof, and I was told by Ben during the sales meeting that the roofers would build in a taper system allowing the roof to drain. They did not do that. So now I have a $30k swimming pool on my roof every time it snows or rains, which lately we have had a lot of rain. I hope the owners of DreamStyle are super proud of the way their employees rape the consumer, upcharge for lies and then make excuses for why it is all wrong. Sat with a rep on 5/20/20 to put together a remodel on our master bath. It seemed pricey, but the materials seemed to be high quality so we agreed and gave them a $1,000.00 deposit. We were told if the project didn't get funded, the deposit would be returned. On 5/26/2020 we were notified that the project could not be fully funded so our deposit would be returned. Weeks later, they refuse to respond to email inquiries about our deposit. I reached out on Facebook only to be lied to and told the deposit was refunded. It wasn't refunded. They were just trying to save face on their public FB page. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I will also be filing a complaint with the AZ Attorney General's office if the funds are not in my account by close of business today. The fact that they won't pick up the phone and talk to us, or respond to our emails shows me that they have ZERO integrity. Do you really want to hire a company like that? Was hired to remodel bathroom in March by my wife who naively believed their sales pitch that they would do it expeditiously;that they had their own crew and gave the impression that they didn't use sub-contractors. She was told that work would start in April. Well a subcontractor installed the new counter tops in late April. A sub-contractor plumber hooked up the sinks. But here it is May and nothing more as been done. New shower, tile in shower and on floor are in limbo. The real kick in the teeth is that phone calls asking for information are made. Answering machines kick in but there are no call backs. If you deal with them try to get an iron bound guarantee re dates. I've been solicited by two of your employees over the last several months, knocking door to door, ignoring the "do not solicit" sign that is posted on my front door (one being today). When I answered both times I was drawn into a conversation. Two years ago we had an appointment with Dream style for someone to come to our house for a bathroom redo. The appointment was set up then canceled and rescheduled by Dream style. Finally the Day of the appointment when I called to confirm that someone was going to show up I was told that they were't coming because they don't service Taos. Why didn't they tell me that when we discussed the job with them initially? If I didn't call I sincerely doubt they would have called me that day and I would have been waiting around. Since then I have been receiving calls from them trying to get my business. I have repeatedly told them where I live and that I was no longer interested. They just keep calling, at times hanging up when I answer. Today they called twice. My husband will be calling the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission to report this harassment. Updated review: I want to thank Peter for resolving my issue. He definitely went above and beyond my expectations of Dreamstyle. Our inherited sunroom (from the purchase) on our home is no longer available commercially. Purchasing replacement parts is impossible, and repair is near impossible. Peter searched around found an exact-size door in a different color on a demo at the company's previous location. Peter suggested this as an alternative to removing pieces and making space to install a more modern door at a higher expense. Once I received approval from my boss (wife!), we gave Peter the go-ahead and he replaced our broken door. All my wife and I can say is wow, we love he new door and the contrasting color looks amazing. I still maintain that Rachel is hopelessly incompetent when it comes to customer service. I have made numerous calls and left voice messages and messages with other staff, and she does not return phone calls to customers. If it weren't for the huge communication issue, I would be giving Dreamstyle 4 stars. read more

I purchased a fireplace insert last November. It worked for a couple of weeks. They replaced parts and it still didn't work. They tried to say I didn't know how to build a fire. BS. I have built fires since I was a child. I called them again this winter because I knew the fans were not working. They came out and I haven't heard back since November. So many wrong things! I ordered a very large, and stupid expensive picture window, from Dreamstyle from a nice salesperson who did take a LONG time to give us their pitch (about 3 hours). SUUUUPER LONG story short... first window was awful and install was a joke. I got a new window only after basically making a grown man nearly cry, went through customer advocacy, MONTHS OF CALLING, and all I want is my dang paperwork. They took the longest time for them to question me to the third degree and after all that, we set an appointment. We confirmed it by text. All was good to get a bathroom quote, after receiving a brochure in the mail - DreamStyle Showers and Baths. The day before, they texted me requesting that I call them. It was eve so I called in the morning. Appt. was at 6 p.m. I was again questioned to the third degree. All - the same questions. After numerous questions - it got to be ridiculous, I told her I went through all of this with Ashley when I scheduled the appointment and it was already all confirmed. Two or three more and we were done. They would be here at 6 p.m. - about 7 to 8 hours away. No Show. No apologies. No nothing. No communication. That's no way to run a business. read more

I had such high hopes for my two Dream Style Bath remodeling projects (bathtub and surround; walk-in shower and surround). I had four estimates and Dream Style was the most expensive ($22,100). I chose them because I thought they had the most experience and had their own skilled labor force. I was promised a three-day install and yet it took 6 weeks. I was disappointed in the quality of work. Needed to have a bathtub drain moved and was told a licensed plumber would do this. That did not happen. During the project, one worker was terminated and the Tucson supervisor was fired. This did not represent a quality work force. The quality of the Kohler and Delta faucet material was fine. The quality of the labor did not meet my expectation. One side lines up with the soffit and the other does not. Attempted to post photos but unable to. There were so many issues such as putting a hole in the wall and then being told, "we don't do drywall". Destroying the toilet seat (they did compensate me for that). Walk-in shower leaked. Most disturbing to me was when I spoke with an executive (Mike) with the Phoenix branch. He started the conversation by apologizing for the many mistakes that occurred and said he reviewed several photos. I asked him to offer some type of compensation, such as a $200 discount and was told, "I just cannot do that. We are a for profit company and your project cost us more in labor than expected and that a $200 discount would leave them loosing money." I do not believe that as I had another estimate for the exact same install which was several thousand dollars less. I have never received any information with regards to "how to care" for the products nor anything which stated I have a lifetime warranty. I was told this would be sent after the final payment was received. On another note, I had Dream Style Windows come to my house. I have a small townhome with 7 simple windows. After a 3 - 1/2 hour visit, was quoted $33,526 for 7 Pella Impervia windows. Pella Windows of Tucson quoted $16,000 and Lowe's quoted $5,000 for the same exact windows installed. My suggestion for everyone is to avoid this company. They did not deliver the quality work they promote. Other than the sales person, Julie, there customer service leaves so much to be desired. You can do better by obtaining the Kohler Choreograph walls and faucets through Ferguson's and use one of their recommended installers. read more

After getting their ads in the mail every month for years, we decided to go check out Dreamstyle Remodeling to buy a hot tub for our kids as their big Christmas surprise. So my husband called them to see if they had any hot tubs in stock since this was more of a last minute idea. A guy answered and said there were a few available on the floor that seat 8 people since that's what we were looking for. So we went down there about 15 minutes later. When we starting looking at the hot tubs we found a few that we liked and the salesman said that each one we liked was already sold. He then said that there aren't any hot tubs on the floor available. That was weird since we had just called, but we asked what we could get that would be available the soonest. So we told him the size we needed and the color that we liked. He said they had hot tubs on order and that they were going to be delivered to them on December 28th. He said that it would take about 3 weeks or so to actually get it installed at our house since they were backed up on installations. We figured that wouldn't be a problem because we could just print out a picture for our girls and tell them they would be getting it soon but probably not until the end of January. So we settled for one of the hot tubs that wasn't exactly what we wanted, but close, since it was already on its way. Apparently a custom order would take several months to get in. The man who also worked in hot tubs helped us with the paperwork and both of the salesmen told me it would be delivered to them on the 28th. Well, on December 28th, a lady from the office called and said that the hot tub company wasn't sending the hot tub until February. Then I would have to get on the schedule to get it installed once it arrived. So basically it would be at my house in March. I was frustrated and explained that the hot tubs were already on their way so how could it now be February before they even ship them?! She acted like an order wasn't placed and didn't know who sold me the hot tub and why they would say that. She was going to have a manager or one of the salesmen call me who was working with me. She ended the conversation with, "Well you signed a contract stating that we have up to 6 weeks to get the hot tub anyways". It's now the 31st and of course no one called me back that day or even up until now. It pretty obvious that they are not planning on calling me at all. They never intended to get me the hot tub anytime soon and just wanted to make a sale. They knew I would have purchased a hot tub somewhere else that would have had one in stock and just lied to tell us what we wanted to hear. I can't believe they would go that low...to ruin Christmas for our kids....just to make a sale. Now I will be making monthly payments for an item I don't even have and who knows if they will even get the hot tub we settled for in February...or if that is a lie as well. I should have read all of the bad reviews on here before heading over there. It's clearly a major red flag that they send ads in the mail every month and spend so much money advertising. This company is WAY overpriced. After a sales rep came to our door, we scheduled a free in-home consultation to replace a single 24"x24" window in our bathroom that we were planning to replace anyway. I've been doing heavy remodeling, and had the interior walls down to the studs with the window frame exposed. Since they made the effort to stop by, I figure I'd see what they would charge to change that single window since there was some stucco work and paint matching that would have to be done on the outside. I first realized there was a problem when the saleswoman kept asking to talk to my wife instead of me. When I confronted her about it, she said there were "so many options" with windows that she didn't want me "picking polka dots when my wife wants stripes". I kid you not, exact words. She finally accepted that I was her only option, and she proceeded to give me her pitch even though I kept asking for a very specific estimate (white, fiberglass or aluminum 24"x24" tempered glass, double-paned window installed). Once she got to the end of her pitch, she told me she'd give me a "deal" as a first time customer of 30% off. Final price? $3350. I honestly didn't know whether to be insulted or dumbfounded, but in either case, told her absolutely not, and let her leave. The funny part is, 24"x24" is a standard window size. I saw that exact window at Home Depot that same day for $84.95. It really bugs me that they try to manipulate people by picking and choosing a spouse they suspect would be easier to trick into paying their exorbitant prices, but What really grinds my gears is they continue to call me every week trying to pitch a bigger remodel even though I've asked to be pulled from their call list. read more

A man came out to give my father an estimate to convert a small bathtub/shower combo into a small walk in shower with a low threshold and some grab bars, a fold down bench and fixing an additional small portion of the wall with water damage. The quote was about $13,000 written on a piece of paper with no details or even a mention that it was a shower conversion. Just the name of the guy and a price. I called the guy after a few days and asked for a more detailed estimate so we would know what was included. He said he would send it within a couple days. It is now four days after I talked to him and still no details. Very shady. Be very cautious. I will never use this company for anything for my father's house, my daughter's house, my house and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. We got a quote by a different company that was about $4000 less and included a detailed estimate and included widening a door, a new toilet installed along with a new walk in shower. If I could give no stars I would. It has been a nightmare getting two windows replaced. I called Dreamstyle because they had replaced the other windows in my house and I did not have nearly as many problems I have this time. The windows are the wrong size and had to be reordered, it took a month from the time windows were installed to get stucco finished and the stucco does not match the existing color. Getting them to call me back is impossible. There are always promises of a call back but they never follow through. This was the first time that I financed through them and they have made the final charge against my account but work is not done. It has been two months of repeated calls and I have yet to hear from their finance department. read more

The estimator was supposed to call prior to the appointment to verify it but the morning & afternoon passed with no call. 2:00 came around & nobody showed up. Come 2:30 & still a no show & no call. These guys have great customer service. After getting stood up by Rebath (highly suggest against using them!), Dreamstyle Remodeling was at my house the same day. They knew I was in a panic and rush to get a shower installed for my wheelchair bound mother. They were right on top of it and I can't thank them enough for that. Amazing customer service. Installation job was professionally done and we're all happy with that as well. Only thing is to prepare to spend a lot of money. The estimate I received was thousands more than what I believed it to be. Granted it's good quality work and service, but those prices are very high. After working with the estimator we got the price down to an acceptable amount, and I do appreciate it. Overall great customer service. read more

When it comes to spa/tub maintenance is there anyone worse? Constant promises of coming with replacement part, wrong part gets ordered, multiple times and poor technician shows for nothing. I had a good experience using Dreamstyle to put in a window and a patio slab at our home. I think the reason I was so happy was that, by chance, all the crews Dreamstyle subcontracted to do the work were absolutely stellar. Everyone from the electrician, to the window installers, to the concrete guys (they were super cool!) to the stucco guys were the bomb diggity; they all showed up on time, did a great job, and went the extra mile to clean up afterwards (I mean they cleaned to the point that things looked much, much better than when they arrived on my property, they swept things, and stacked things, and even pulled a few weeds!) . I've been through a considerable amount of remodeling work in my time, and I was really impressed by these crews. I wish I had gotten all of their names, but alas, I did not (except for Antonio and his crew who did the stucco - they were great!). I did have some questions during the process, mostly about scheduling. When I tried to get hold of our Dreamstyle representative I got an answering service every time and then absolutely no response at all. Never even a single call back. I don't know what my experience with Dreamstyle would have been like if we hadn't gotten such stand out work crews. I wish I could give Dreamstyle a five star review, but since no one from the company was ever available, or ever returned any of my calls, I just don't feel entirely good about that. Also I see a review here from a subcontractor who claims he has not been paid. When I think of how hard my crews worked, I'm horrified to think Dreamstyle might not pay them promptly and properly. I will be watching these reviews and hope to see Dreamstyle respond to that sub contractor and get the issue resolved. Otherwise I wont feel good about using their company again. Those crews work so hard, and do such a nice job, they should be treated like gold. read more

I have been dealing with Dreamstyle remodeling for 8 months now. It started with a quote for re stuccoing my home in December of 2017. We signed the contract to have the work done and was told that someone would come out to do more accurate measurements and do a site inspection. The first site inspection occurred in February. I live in the east mountains and due to snow cover the site inspection had to be re scheduled. the second site visit happened in April and I was told that i would be called about scheduling the prep and stucco work. After three weeks I called to get information about when they would start I was told that the prep work would be done on the 31 of May. On the 31 May I was contacted be the individual in charge of the stucco division that a big mistake had been made and they would not be showing up. I have to take time off of work for these appointments so I must say that I was not very happy with the way things were being handled. it gets better. After being given another date for the prep work to be done I again waited at home for the crew to show up when the phone rings again and I was told that no one would be there to do the work. When the crew did show up the next week I informed the individual in charge of the department that I would not be home. He stated that it would not be necessary for me to be there because they knew what had to be done. When I arrived home they had prepped the wrong building. After numerous calls to dreamstyle a crew finally showed up and completed the stucco work on June 12. The contract stated that there would be "professional site cleanup" after the completion of the job. I contacted the person in charge of the department on the June 13th to inquire about when the cleanup would take place . He stated that it should have already been done. After more calls to Dreamstyle to complain about the cleanup, someone finally showed up on the 29th of June to clean up the chunks of stucco, strands of tape and to put back all the items moved around while the crew worked on the house. The contract also has a five year guarantee against fading or cracks. During the first week of August I noticed a decent size crack forming in the stucco. I contacted Dreamstyle about it on the 16th of August and set up an appointment to have the new assistant to look at what needed to be done. I had to call back on the 4th of September because I had not heard back from anyone at Dreamstyle. I was told we could set up the repair work for the 27 or 28 of September. On September the 25th I received a message from Dreamstyle that they were getting a crew together for the work to be done on the 27th or the 28th of September. It is now 1:25 pm on the 28th of September and I have left two messages with Dreamstyle about where the crew is. I have never and I do mean never had any business dealings with a company with such poor costumer service. I will never recommend this company to anyone ever. We went with a larger company because we thought they would be more reliable. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Update 10/10/2018. finally had someone show up to repair the crack in the stucco and they used the wrong color. Now I can wait for that to be repaired read more

Salesman gave inflated cost. Told 4 men for a week and expensive materials. One man showed up for 4 days. Needed extra day because he had wrong glue. Was told job was $12,000. I did math after job and going the basic 3X material the job should have not been more than $7,000. Work was not the best. I had to rehang door the was put on with screws too small. BUYER'S BEWARE! Great product, but at what cost?? At the end of May this year, my partner and I contracted Dreamstyle to erect a sunroom and adjoining patio cover. We were provided a total price of $50,439 (including tax), with $43,722 allocated towards the sunroom and $3,981 allocated to the patio cover. I contacted our project manager in July to obtain a detailed copy of the project breakdown, which he said he would be able to provide via Excel document that he originally used to provide us with the above price. When he finally sent a copy of the breakdown in August, it came to $41,937 (without tax included) for the sunroom. I questioned him as to the difference in price between the roughly $42k and the original quoted price of $50k, and he stated that the Excel document he provided was not the original document-- that he no longer had the original document, and so was forced to "reprice everything." He also stated that the Excel document did not include the breakdown for the patio cover/additional work. When he provided the cost breakdown of the patio cover/additional work, the patio cover totaled $8,146-- strangely adding up to the original $50k, however neither of the new breakdowns included tax. I contacted Dreamstyle's project coordinator as well as the project manager's boss to ask about this breakdown, considering the fact that the project manager a) originally told me that he had the Excel document and then told me he did not, providing us with a new breakdown that did not reflect the original price he quoted, and b) it seemed strange that the breakdowns he provided added up to the total of $50k though neither included tax. When I spoke with the project manager's boss, we talked about the possibility of my partner and I receiving a discount to reflect the discrepancies between the original sunroom price and the new breakdown provided. However, he then emailed me the next day stating that this was not feasible, and he proceeded to ask me why I had originally requested the breakdown as this was a rare request. He went on to state that the company had recently undergone a software update and, "due to software changes/updates that have happened since your purchase that make it difficult to go back and reproduce the original." He also stated, "It was unclear in [the project manager's] emails whether the prices included tax or did not," using this as justification as to why the price of the patio cover amounted to $8k instead of the roughly $4k it should have been. However, if this were the case, then the breakdown of the patio cover line items would also have had to include the tax from the sunroom project, considering the Excel document did not include tax. When I emailed the project manager's boss, attempting to state the above and outlining my concerns as to the legitimacy of the breakdowns as well the discrepancies, I received a response that made no effort to answer my questions or ease my concerns. On the contrary, he merely reiterated THREE TIMES how rare it was that I requested the information to begin with, and belittled my concerns by stating, "My expectation at this point is that even had we provided that type of breakdown, you would not have been satisfied and would have insisted on a more granular line item by line item breakdown," and assumed that my partner and I merely had "buyer's remorse." I called Dreamstyle's project coordinator on 09/27 to settle this matter, as my partner and I are extremely happy with our sunroom but are deeply concerned with the customer service Dreamstyle has provided. He told me that he would arrange a conference call between himself, me, and the project manager's boss within the next several days. I have yet to receive a follow-up call or email concerning that conference call and believe that there was no intention of it occurring, considering that was more than 2 weeks ago. EDIT: After writing this review, as well as making a complaint with BBB, the owner of the company called me and offered me an apology. My wife and I purchased a Jacuzzi hot tub about a month ago. It was a great deal and worth every penny. Best part of the process was the service. The 3 gentlemen who came to install our tub, Jared, Clint, and Paul, did a seamless install and spent a great deal of time explaining the chemicals involved and how to maintain our new tub. They even trimmed back our tree (and cleared the branches) so that we could get the tub through our gate, and avoid the expense of having to rent a crane. A few days later, Tom, the manager, called to thank us for our business and make sure we were completely satisfied. I will definitely recommend Dreamstyle to my friends. read more

I only give a One (1) star due to 2 individuals whom have finally come through and listened as well followed through. Very disturbed, upset, dissatisfied with this company. I choice their Koehler shower remodel and boy was that a mistake. Sales guy was very nice, detailed and professional but then came the actual project. Damages to my tile and exterior wall. Upon leaving the day of install neither one informed me of the damages. Since then I've also had 3 Kohler shower heads installed as each one was leaking. ONLY by my tenacious efforts and being diligent did I start getting damages repaired and new shower heads. Damages are still not up to my satisfaction and thus far 4th shower head is functioning properly Customer service overall is -5. They don't follow up nor stick to what they say unless I make it happen. Sorry UNM that their name appears at The Pit. read more
