Dresscue was a nice find as we were making our way to a different store after lunch. At first glance, we were quickly intrigued but became confused at the same time. We couldn't figure out how items were organized. Each rack had a mix of different styles, brands and sizes with a few showing varying percentages off. Pricing was also inconsistent. But since we enjoy a good hunt, we just started digging into the racks. The husband was first to find a vintage Van Halen concert t-shirt. I then spotted a Farm Rio (NWT) shirtdress. Both were very reasonably priced. At the register, it was explained how the store is organized and the options sellers have in pricing -- then it all made sense! What a smart concept! Super friendly people. Clean, organized and overall well-priced. The nicely curated items are in good to excellent pre-loved condition. During our visit we saw a staff member steam cleaning clothing that had been tried on before returning them to the rack -- love that! Dresscue is now a must visit when we're in Atwater! read more

Dresscue offers a unique concept. You can rent a rack at their store to sell your quality secondhand clothing. There is a 14-day minimum and each rack holds up to 50 items + 5 accessories (shoes & bags). The racks were nicely curated and a wide range of styles were on display. Some items were reasonably priced others were on the high end. However, you will find some deals that are 10% or 15% off. I happened to spot one rack where 100% of the proceeds were donated to Dogs Without Borders, which I think is fantastic. If I'm in the area again I'll stop by to see what is new. read more

Great concept, well managed by friendly women, racks and racks of gently used clothing, shoes, bags, etc. Prices are fair. Worth a visit!

Owner also threatened to ban me from the store and take away my reviews multiple times just because she didn't like my review. Just shows the low quality of management when someone is so insecure and has to hide from taking constructive criticism as an owner. I have documented proof over everything I said was true. The owner has no proof and should absolutely be sued for illegal acts and consistently lying and defaming me for her own benefit. Check out the photos I've attached. To respond to the owner, as I said I'm thankful for her accommodating me. I actually was going to delete my negative review, but I think how she responded made me want to clarify, in no way should there be an excuse on why you are not asking your sellers to provide authentication proof or a receipt of purchase from the brand's store. To tell me that I needed to do that is just unacceptable, because this is not my responsibility as a buyer. Also if you are going to say " most stores give a credit card refund" well most stores would hire an authenticator. Also, most stores keep their documentation and transaction histories for over a year. I actually went to the store, November 2024 and I initiated my first contact when I noticed at June 2025( only about 6 months not a year) when I noticed it was a fake item. Through the court system, if I wanted to sue I have a whole year after noticing the crime taken place to be able to file a lawsuit if I chose to. I was going to be a lot less confrontational if the owner acted on things quickly and stopped making excuses after excuses. We got this solved, but the owner should take accountability for the fact that you don't put blame on the buyer when an item is in question. So I stand by my review and will not take it down. Also, it is not appropriate for the owner to be asking me to give my credit card information over email and to hang up on me when I was trying to talk it out with them because they wouldn't respond for over a week. I hope this experience is looked at as a learning opportunity for the owner and I wish she does better in the future as this was draining for me for my time and energy. read more

Not the Vibes. Once they get you renting a rack, they really do not care about how much you sell. You can hear the employees gossiping behind the counter before asking a customer if there's something specific they are shopping for. The shop is always a mess with employees that are not attentive to customers or the presentation of shop. The owner seems not at all concerned if her employees are working on the clock or not, wearing gym clothes and simply not made to sell retail. A clean store with care for the merchandise for sale is always helpful for business. Don't be surprised if your items are on the ground and thrown over racks. I was actually looking forward to continuing renting a rack, but not with the current staff looking like they just rolled out of bed on the clock and being extremely clique behind the counter...I don't recommend this place at all... read more

Super disappointing experience. I never leave reviews, but feel compelled to leave one to warn others about this. I bought a pair of leather pants from this store and they tore across the entire back the first time I wore them. I brought them back to the store to see what could be done - a refund, store credit, discount, anything. I spent $50 on them, and they told me they couldn't do anything, no exceptions. I told them I had a receipt and everything, but they said there was no way for them to possibly determine which person consigned the clothing, so they couldn't accept a return. This seems like a super easy problem to be avoided - they knew who to give the money to when I purchased the pants, so how could they possibly not know whose rack they came from? Never shopping here again. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to have an experience like this! :( read more

If there's one thing that I love, it's finding designer clothes and shoes at a discounted price. I wandered into this place while I was waiting for my to go order next door. I've driven by this place multiple times, and I finally have the chance to see what's inside. Many racks to choose from. Plenty of different styles and prices to choose from as well. The designer names that I found in this shop were to die for. The quality of the clothes, shoes, and bags/purses were good. There's a dressing room, but not to many. The customer service could use some improvement though. Rude and snobby girl at the checkout counter. Plenty of shared parking in the back or street parking is also available. read more

Discovered this place while in the area last year and kicking myself for not finding it sooner! It's a consignment shop basically; everything is divided by vendors so it's not the easiest to shop if you're looking for a conventional experience where everything is separated by categories. However, that can also be an element for "the thrill of the hunt" if you will. It's a mix of high end designer/modern/vintage/sustainable brands so there's something for everyone. The store is 95% womens, though there's always a rotating selection and I've found some of my favorite designers here(raf Simons, margiela, Issey miyake) Service is fine. I get greeted sometimes, sometimes not depending on whoever the one person is working at the time is feeling, lol. read more

Warning: do not sell here. We barely broke even. And we had some very CUTE, in style, and some designer/vintage items of various sizes and prices on our rack. It's not worth your time or effort. I bet the owners make all their money from the rack rental fee alone, which is bizarrely high. Wanted to provide candid feedback for anyone else thinking of trying this out. Also seeing many other 1-3 star reviews with the same feedback plus other sellers had their items go missing. We lost one item but found it later on another rack. I'm SO bummed I don't live nearby- this is the best concept. I can only speak from a buyers perspective but found such a range of fun things. I love that it's different peoples wares- because you get to see a snapshot of Los Angeles from 80's glam vintage to hipster mom, to minimalist goth. I found a great boho caftan for $15 and a gorgeous Anine Bing sweater for $60. I think it will take time to get a better sorting system as I read the reviews and can see why some sellers pieces get mismatched. I had a number of different pieces and ended up putting them on a different rack and then realized that was a mistake. I assume when it sells it's credited to the correct seller but still- seems a bit chaotic. Overall SUPER fun shopping experience. I can't wait to visit again. For one, knowing the racks are rented you'd think you'd get to at least see a sign telling you who's rack you are buying from, but not the case which takes away from what shopping small business is all about . Our review is from a point of view of a seller/renter. My wife and I have been renting racks at Dresscue for quite some time now. We quite heavily relied on them during the writers strike. But sadly this year our experience has been pretty lackluster. We have noticed the customer service just go down and down with each passing month! We had an extremely disappointing experience renting a rack at Dresscue very recently. At the end of our renting period, we went to pick up our unsold items, only to find that not all of our clothing was there. The staff couldn't locate all of our pieces and seemed completely unorganized! To make matters worse, over the following week(s), we were called five separate times to come back and pick up additional items that had been mixed up with other racks! Each time we had to go back, it was a hassle, and the staff never apologized or offered any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. This experience has left a bad taste in our mouth, and we personally wouldn't recommend Dresscue to anyone looking to rent a rack. They need to seriously improve their organization and customer service. We sincerely hope our review helps them to improve their customer service and experience, so that we can go back to them, but till then... I guess it's mainly garage sales and flea markets for us. read more

I cannot speak to the shopping experience at this store but my selling experience was less than ideal. Between the rack rental fee and the store commission it is extremely difficult to make any kind of significant profit in a two week period especially since most sales seem to occur on weekends. I ended up only making a $5 profit. But to make matters worse, the store charges a $20/day late pick up fee if you do not pick up the remaining contents of your rack by the time the store closes on the last day of rack rental or immediately when the store opens the following morning. My stuff was picked up just 2 hours late the following morning I was charged the full fee which left me $15 in the negative. Staff was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. read more

I am a fan of the idea of the store and Suzy is great and always helpful ~ she takes the time and explains the concept to customers. I did two rounds of selling and was happy with the first run but left with a sour note on the second ~ 3 excellent vintage pieces were missing and I sent photos to help locate. When I first noticed the first item missing the weekend sales girl was most unhelpful and used the excuse I am the only one here. Can't help you which is odd because they are usually so helpful. I have tried calling the owner several times but been told she is off for the week. I lost out this time and will probably not sell again since I left in the negative with three missing pieces each worth $75+. Do hope to speak with the owner so she is aware three lost items off one rack sounds like they have a theft issue that needs addressing. read more

Great co consignment vintage shop located in Atwater village selling second hand one of a kind pieces. My first visit here but I plan on returning to browse some more. You will find unique pieces still in great condition. The way it works is, you sign up with the store book a visit, for about 175 dollars you can bring your closet and have your own little clothes rack in the shop and set your own prices, Redress keeps 15% you keep the rest of the profit from sales. They are gaining popularity here in the states and if you visit you will see why. I found some great pieces just browsing some of the dresses or rare pieces run a bit higher but generally the prices are reasonable. this work shirt I purchased was 18 dollars. read more

I love this new concept! How it didn't exist in LA before! I have so much clothes which I no longer wear; many are in great condition and barely worn. I haven't had enough mental capacities to let go of that vintage Ralph Lauren dress or Max&Co. cardigan to Goodwill, nor getting 10 bucks worth from Crossroads Trading. Trying to be detached from materialistic goods for real, still...the craftsmanship of these pieces deserve an appropriate replacement! I am delighted to have found the solution finally! It is my second round to rent a rack at the store, so far I made the rental back, plus gaining profits. I also bought quite a few stylish pieces.The system they have is very convenient. All you have to do is to make sure your clothes are in good condition, create and price the items on your laptop, hang it and voila! There are some interesting racks to shop from; I love the concept to reduce negative environmental impacts from the fashion industry. It is important, and I am so glad that LA has a store like this to contribute to sustainable living. The store owners are nice people indeed, their interior design sends out good vibes! read more

What can I say about Dresscue? 2 items sold, 2 items went "missing," I walked home with 24 pieces of unsold, designer, high-quality clothing. The staff are standoffish and only featured my clothing once (3 items) on an Instagram story, 10 days into a 14-day rental. Not helpful. Save the hassle (and parking) and just sell your stuff on Poshmark. At least you know it won't get shoplifted. I lost money, even before the stealing. read more

I sold with them for a few months and they were rude and unprofessional after they didn't have my things on the right rack for pick up at the end. Threatening to give away my clothing, and then being unresponsive when I told them I was out of town for work.. messaging me months later that they were still holding my items and that they "will not be going back and forth with me anymore"? Like what?.. I'm a working professional and can't fly home just to pick up a few items left behind, not being the fault of my own.. the retail witches who work here should get off their high horse and show some kindness and understanding to their sellers.
