After a long week, I was not in the mood to cook. After seeing the great reviews on Facebook, I decided to order out on Friday with Drexel Hill Sauté. I ordered online. The process was simple. I got the tortellini with blush sauce, salmon, sun-dried tomatoes, romano cheese, and fresh basil. It was just the comfort food I needed! It's a heaping portion. At least two dinners worth, probably three, with a generous portion of salmon throughout. The only thing I was missing was a buttered roll. I also got a slice of their Vanilla Hazelnut Brownie Cheesecake Cake. That "slice" was giant. Easily three servings. Will definitely be going back to try more combinations. The $30 was worth the taste and the value. Looking forward to having the leftovers. read more

I had to try this new spot. I ordered the noodles with normal sauce. Maybe I'll go back to try other offerings because this wasn't it for me. It wasn't bad it was actually tasty and a very large portion. I guess I'm not a mornay sauce girl lol. I will go back to try the other options they have which are plenty. I do love the concept of this though. You pick your style proteins veggies and sauces. read more

Tried this place for the first time, and was happy I did! First of all, love the concept! Great variety but not a mile long menu, something for everyone. That said, my daughter and I were both in the mood for Pad Tai. It was excellent! We agreed that most impressive things was the noodles were cooked perfectly. No clumping, perfect texture. I got all 3 sauces and was happy I did. Ton of flavor! We both got chicken. Very generous portions and also cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy All the toppings were fresh, veggies were crisp. $20 is not cheap, but we both have enough for another meal left over! Also, the people there were so friendly! Been passing this place on my way to work for two weeks now, and I was intrigued by the different cuisines advertised on the sign. Decided to try, even though there were only two reviews on yelp. Pleasantly surprised, and thrilled that my husband and I could get two incredibly different meals that we both wanted. After just one bite, we sold! The beef stroganoff was creamy and tasty. Impressive takeout food from a tiny, nondescript location. Everything was fresh and piping hot -- from tortellini Alfredo with chicken to pad thai. The entrees are expensive but enormous. One order of any dish is enough to feed two people. Don't be put off by the prices. read more

We found Drexel Hill Sauté from a Gluten Free Philly post on Instagram and drove an hour to their location. They have a lot of great choices and are primarily gluten-free which was wonderful for my celiac husband. We ordered a half tray of Sweet Chili Thai noodles with shrimp and a piece of chocolate mousse cake. Both were excellent. Lots of vegetables and shrimp in the noodle dish and lovely flavor from the sweet chili sauce and a little kick as well. It's a very small place and it is take out only. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely go back, highly recommend! read more

I have Celiac Disease, and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to share with you, that not only was the food absolutely delicious, I didn't have any gluten related symptoms after eating. I have only been able to find a few restaurant near me, where they follow strict gf protocols. I had the Pad Thai and my son, who does not follow a gf diet, absolutely loved the Tortellini, (one out of the three items noted as not being gf). We got three amazing homemade gf desserts, strawberries and cream, carrot cake, and the chocolate mouse cake. Strawberries and cream was both of our best pick! Portions of both entree and desserts were very generous! I can't wait to try more of their menu items! read more

After reading the reviews I was hopeful about this place and liked the concept. I decided to try the Italian option and got shrimp alfredo with tortellini, broccoli, sun dried tomatoes, and a few other veggie add-ins. Overall it was a very flavorful dish, the ingredients were fresh, it was seasond well, and the portion size was perfect. I had two let-downs though, the first being the tortellini which had a pasty cheese filling that was pretty tasteless. The second, and most disappointing was the consistency of my sauce which (even after letting it stand for a bit) was soupy. I ate the heartiest contents of the dish because wasting shrimp in any economy is not a real thing, but I couldn't bring myself to finish the soupy sauce. I am hoping this was just a one-off misfire and will probably try this place again since they offer diverse dishes from different regions that aren't all cream based, but it won't be anytime soon and I'm going to tap out on future tours of Italy. read more

We recently used Drexel Hill Sauté for a family event. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone took home leftovers. The jambalaya was good and not too spicy. The pad Thai chicken was outstanding. Since we had a peanut allergy, it was ordered without peanuts or peanut oil. My wife and I were in the mood for something different that was real food and DHS did not disappoint. When we picked up our order we were greeted with friendly smiles. Always a great start! We ordered the Italian penne with chicken and blush sauce with zucchini and the Jambalaya with shrimp, mushrooms, onions and garlic. This food is made with love. Fresh ingredients and ample portions with terrific flavor. The jambalaya was perfectly spiced and the shrimp were large and generously portioned. The Italian dish had a generous portion of chicken and the zucchini was done perfectly,firm yet tender. My wife makes her own pasta and sauce and she raved about her pasta dish.
