Delicious, savory, flavorful!! Allll the wonderful words that describe how fantastic the food is. I picked up a Togo order and both hosts were extremely friendly and other staff as well. The restaurant is sooooo cute and trendy! I loved the neon signs, the decorative walls and just the entire vibe of the restaurant. This is now one of my favorite restaurants for brunch!!

Had a lovely time at Drift at a recent stay in Myrtle Beach. Went there for breakfast with two littles and found it was the perfect spot for both basic kids breakfast as well as more niche adult foods. The atmosphere is adorable, with a seaside feel but a bit more eclectic. The servers were great and on top of our needs for more water/juice/coffee before we could ask. I got the Mediterranean avocado toast, husband a fruit cut, and the kids both got the kids French toast. Everything was great and they were super helpful when we had a juice spill - totally friendly and helpful when we tried to clean it up. Would definitely come again

We loved DRIFT so much..... that we ate breakfast here TWICE in a four-day vacation! The food and service were amazing!! Steak BENEDICT on day one... and then the Banana's Foster French Toast?!? Whoa!!!! Awesome! Don't miss it!!

Searched yelp for a good breakfast spot and tried this place for the first time today at 9:30 am. Cute little place was seated right away. Ordered the ham eggs Benedict it was pretty tasty. The potatoes were cold and it came out quick! Coffee was not good to me. Service was friendly, but not worthy of 5 stars. Probably wouldn't go back. Plenty of parking in a large shopping center.

Our server was really helpful and kind. It was a nicely put together restaurant. Kinda modern vibe. The banana's foster was really good. The Carmel sauce was amazing. The rest of the food was just your average breakfast food. Wouldn't rush back.

This place comes highly recommended, so I was surprised at our terrible experience. The food came out cold and completely inedible. I ordered the ham Benedict and paid extra for avocado. On top of it being cold, the egg whites weren't even cooked. (I know poached eggs have runny yolks, but the whites should be cooked). To top it off, the avocado I paid extra for was instead half-brown guacamole. It was disgusting. The waitress asked if I wanted a box for my uneaten food and I said "no thanks, it wasn't good." Instead of offering an apology or refund, she just handed me the check. I was hoping to find a great local place to recommend to our AirBnB guests. Instead we sadly won't be back. P.S. The decor is cute, but the place also needs a good cleaning. Dust all over the lights, etc.

It's astonishing to me I haven't left a review for Drift yet as this is a go to spot when in Myrtle Beach for vacation. I have a friend who lived in Myrtle who suggested this spot for brunch and that's all she wrote - we won't go anywhere else! I have tried a plethora of dishes from the Benedict's to the steak and eggs to the chicken and waffles and everything is always superb. Their fried chicken is one of my favorite fried chickens anywhere! They also have a great eclectic vibe and their beautiful drinks match that. Add in the wonderful service we receive every time we visit and this spot is a true winner. We can't wait to return for brunch next year!

Clean, bright, coastal vibe throughout. The service was top notch from the moment we came in the door. Our server was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, polite and checked in on us several times to ensure everything was going well. She was young, but she certainly could be mentoring others in this industry. My husband was super pleased with the perfect execution of his over easy eggs (yes, he's picky). I loved my lobster and bacon omelette and honestly... I rarely eat all of the toast, but usually try it. I found myself finishing all of that yummy rye bread before I started my omelette. As usual, my husband had to finish my fruit. We left completely satisfied and would definitely highly recommend.

Great place to try a meal that's 'outside the box'. We had the duck confit sandwich and a cup of grits. The sandwich was amazing! So flavorful and satisfying. These are NOT your plain ole' grits, either! So tasty. Wonderful atmosphere with inside or outside dining options. Service is awesome, too. Definitely a favorite.

Wow! I love this place. It's a surprising hit for me. I had no expectations after eating poorly in Myrtle Beach on a family vacation and Drift surprised my. For one, the ambience, decor, and atmosphere is really nice. I really enjoyed the view, weather, and outdoor seating. The menu is great, they have a lot of options, a d I like that they have it posted with photos really large at the entry so you can know what you're ordering before you enter. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was huge, fresh, and tasty, I ordered the lobster eggs Benedict which was a first as I've only ever had crab cake Benedict and that was delicious, my boyfriend had the fresh toast loaded with pralines, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas with powdered sugar that was good, and we also ordered a burger with fries and fresh fruit with two Piña colada Mimosa's one regular Mimosa with orange juice instead of grapefruit juice which we called a "mans" Mimosa because it had patron or jośe cuervo silver in it and it was strong, and the mermaid Mimosa for me which was great. I really wish I had time to try their duck eggs Benedict because that looked awesome as well. I enjoyed the place. They even have a nice mirror to take a photo that's titled selfie which is really cute. This is a must try especially on a beautiful sunny day where you can sit outside and enjoy the view. Our waiter was great. I also ordered a macchiato espresso with vanilla and hazelnut and that was pretty good as well it just could've been hotter. read more

What a great find! So pleased we popped in for brunch last weekend. Drift opened about 5 months ago...and they are gearing up to start serving dinner in the next month or so... They take a traditional breakfast and put a twist on it. The flavors were pure perfection! The plates were filling. When you go, be sure to order a specialty drink. Not only are they unique and refreshing, but they are gorgeous too! Gibran is a genius. Carlos, the GM, touches every table and welcomes you. Well designed and decorated. read more

Excellent service. Delicious food! I had lobster Benedict. This was served on a croissant with spinach, avocado, tomato, lobster claws, and hollandaise. The hollandaise tasted like it was freshly made which is rare to find. My husband had pancakes and bacon. They served it with real maple syrup. This restaurant was on par with several other fancy breakfast places in the area. The wait time was only 15 minutes around 11 AM. read more

I was really excited to try this place, but the food was barely edible and the experience was awful. Will not be going back. I ordered a latte as my drink, and it was cold when it arrived to me. Their coffee drinks were not on the menu, and it turned out to be a $5.50 latte which for that price I would at least expect to be hot. So that was disappointing but I was still excited for the food. I order the Drifter scramble (seemed like their signature dish) and my boyfriend ordered the pork belly Benedict. I asked what the "combo" on the menu was and the waitress just said she didn't know (???). The scramble came in a bowl, and was not really a scramble. The potatoes were VERY soggy at the bottom (to be expected since the eggs/veggies were piled on top). The vegetables were also cut way too big with huge pieces of pepper and onion which was just really unpleasant to eat. And it wasn't really a scramble, everything was separate and just sort of thrown into the same bowl. There was cheese sticking to the bottom too, which I only saw at the end. The bowl came with buttered toast BUT the butter had that fake flavoring that you would find in movie theater popcorn, and was just so oily. I've never been served fake butter at a restaurant before and it really was not a good experience. My boyfriend was brought out the completely wrong dish by the waitress, and had to wait an additional 15 minutes for his food. When it came, he thought it was just ok. Also my water glass had something at the bottom and I asked for a replacement, the waitress basically forgot about it and when we were leaving she asked if I wanted a "to go water". I just wanted to leave at that point so I said no. Overall, just really wanted to like this place and was sorely disappointed. I think they have a great concept and good dish ideas, but execution is terrible. Do not recommend! read more

They don't honor the virtual wait list so be prepared to wait another 45-60 when you arrive. We ended up waiting a total of 2 hours from the time we signed up on the virtual waitlist. Food and servers were great--hostess stand was a mess. read more

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Been here several times. I have always enjoyed the food except for their waffle. They have good speciality coffee drinks but they are over priced. Have eaten at Drift several times. Food and apps are good. After a dinner event tonight, went to the bar for an after dinner cocktail. Ordered 2 scotch's. They were almost out of the one we wanted. Poured the shortest pour I have had in my 62 years, then got a second bottle and poured a similar pour that was less than 1/2 of a standard, mixed one with soda and when questioned, said sorry but made no corrections. $22.50 later, will never patronize them again. Very unprofessional. I complained politiely but should have declined the drinks and the bill. Never again. Rich read more

Prepare to wait; they estimated 25 minutes, in actuality it was over an hour. Water needs to be filtered. Drinks are good. Shrimp & Grits excellent. The best spot for brunch at the beach! The staff is excellent, the decor is perfect, and all the dishes are amazing. Everytime I go I try something new and have never been disappointed. Make sure you try the potatoes with the garlic aioli sauce on top. So far, the Benedict , and Flame-roasted Fuji apple on the Belgian waffle are my favorite. recommend to everyone! read more
