Rated Myrtle Beach's #2 in breakfast so had to give it a try. Went right around noon, and the wait wasn't long for a Sunday brunch. ~25 minutes. Quick service and overall happy with the serving, the potatoes were to die for. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were a party of 3 placed at a table for 6 and were right next to the door, every time a customer came in/left the breeze was quite chilly resulting in our plates getting cold quicker than we could finish. Recommend avoiding that table! Otherwise, a cute nice breakfast/brunch place with an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and tasty food. read more

Can't really see the restaurant from 17, but really glad we found this hidden gem! We went based on others pictures here on Yelp. It is definitely worth trying!! The food was Fabulous!! We ate out on the patio which they've really "dressed up" nice. It truly felt like an oasis. I had the Shrimp & Grits which wasn't your normal preparation. On top of the grits, along with the shrimp and andouille sausage, they add piquante peppers, black bean flame-roasted corn with bell peppers, onion, tomato mix that is so yummy! Have eaten at Drift several times. Food and apps are good. After a dinner event tonight, went to the bar for an after dinner cocktail. Ordered 2 scotch's. They were almost out of the one we wanted. Poured the shortest pour I have had in my 62 years, then got a second bottle and poured a similar pour that was less than 1/2 of a standard, mixed one with soda and when questioned, said sorry but made no corrections. $22.50 later, will never patronize them again. Wonderful outdoor seating area. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food & drinks were delicious! I think it was the most my little one ate the entire time in Myrtle. I think it was probably the best Belgian waffle I've ever eaten. I only had one complaint- the tables outside were quite close together, especially the one we were sat at. One of the main reasons we sat outside was because of Covid/social distancing. The family next to us was maybe a foot away.
