My absolute favorite place! The service is always wonderful, and the food is so consistent and delish. The beer pretzel is by far the family favorite, but I crave the burgers! I was beyond thrilled that they are back up and running! Not one complaint and I've been back about six times since they re-opened in April. Well this is my second review on this place. Wow pretty disappointed. Clearly the old owners are not around anymore. The prime rib sandwich was the best! So now we got a cheeseburger that taste like it came from Ampm. Tacos were not good... next to no cheese, pico, salsa, guacamole. Maybe a small fingernail size dab... wings were alright probably the best thing. The bread was decent... the best part of the whole meal wasn't even the food the Staff was all super friendly and took care of us... 5 stars to the staff. They probably know the food sucks too.. you would think being on a lake with a bunch of fairly wealth people they would have better food... just wasn't the case. Hopefully they can get back to the best price of prime rib on a sandwich with the most flavorful aujus I've ever taste. Cause how was not worth the price. read more

I like the vibe of this place but the food could be much better. I just had a cheese burger and fries which the burger would have been better with a different bun. But I will say the pretzel appetizer was awesome except for the Velveeta cheese sauce. Maybe a real cheese sauce would be better. read more

Parking is adequate, but my concern is this business keeps getting new operators. It also seems each of the operators can't complete agreements with the owner, John and Kathy After knowing several of the past operators I'm noticing very unhappy contracts not fulfilled as promised. Great location to look over the small marina and lake. Beer is ice cold and an excellent selection. Food is always good. I ordered the patty melt and it was tasty. Got a side salad rather than fries. Prices have gone up since Covid, like everywhere. But it is a nice view in an isolated resort setting. Really the only option on the lake, and a good one. read more

Horrible Customer Service We visited this little bar and bistro for an afternoon bite; and while the food was great the service was horrible. First off you have to order on your phone, so there is no actual interaction with the staff. We got our food about 45 minutes later, and the server just ran off. He did not bring utensils, which we had to hunt down on our own. And we had to fetch our own water. There was a sign at our table that said a 20% tip would be added if we did not close out our tab, so we made sure to close it out. Some people that came in before us didn't get their orders by the time we left, and new customers were bussing their own tables. We did not leave a tip as we barely saw a service person. Steer clear of this place for sure. read more

Came in on Sunday 10/9 for a drink and to sit by the water. Drinks were expensive. I paid on the iPad that's at every table and was emailed my receipt. Checked my bank statement today and was charged an extra $6!! Not sure how this can be an oversight as I paid on the iPad and not with a waiter. Called today to see what was going on but it went straight to voicemail saying they were closed for the season. Found an email on the website and reached out with screenshots. Hoping they will refund me my money. Please always request receipts from this place and double check your bank statements. Update: Manager told me to "fuck off". I took my friend to this restaurant and I was shocked at how dirty the place was and the terrible service. They have a great location BUT nothing else about this place is great. The management is terrible. They literally don't care about customers or our business. Restaurants like this don't deserve to be in business so we lease don't give them a dime of your hard earned money. Maybe a report to the health board is what is needed. This is a help yourself place, where they expect you to use your phone to order and pay. You aren't able to customize and they charge for every little thing, including extra dressing - come on. But the straw that broke the camels back was - they charge a fee to process a credit card but they don't accept cash. Shame on them!!! Now I understand why the food tastes like crap! read more

Avoid - it's totally gone downhill. You order your own food and bus your own table. The server barely acknowledges you. The food is straight from the freezer to your plate and the only good thing is a cold beer. We had a large group and not a single dish was worth us taking home. We left more than half of it on the table and no one seemed to care. They just wanted the table ti clear for their next customer to sit. I've been coming here for years and am sad to see this place go downward - it's on the beautiful lake, but sadly has become a self service low end food joint. In one word? Disgusting. This fly-infested, feces-stenching, sticky-table bar should be put on your list of places to visit only after a trip to hell. (Might make this place seem 1% decent) My fiancee and I heavily debated getting a drink here after seeing the horrible yelp reviews, not to mention the hateful responses the owner wrote to his patrons. We should have listened to our guts and run far away. A drink from a kids lemonade stand would be a far better experience than this olace could ever offer. Family went in today with a group. Quality of food was mediocre and there was a lack of meat on the sandwiches. A Rueben, onion rings and soda was $28. I understand the restaurant business is suffering. But when the owner comes to your table and basically tells you to leave because you requested to have meat put on your sandwich does not encourage people to come back or be considerate. When you pay $20+ for a cut sandwhich it should have meat on both sides of the sandwich. Plain and simple. We won't be returning. I'm so disappointed in this place now, I'm guessing it's under new management. I recently went to the restaurant and noticed the mess of the food being hoarded by the trash cans. I didn't know but you bus your own tables and dump your leftovers into a bin. I observed maybe one worker walking around but not very personable and let me tell you, when folks left tables nearby no one wiped them down. Yuck! Their food is mediocre and service is nonexistent. They have a perfect location, but my guess is that's all they have going for them. I miss the two old owners. Better customer service and better food. Edit: AND based on the "owner" response, I will gladly go to Baldí's. Their restaurant is a bit further out, but worth the drive for great customer service and excellent food. Well I was driving through the area and saw the owners comments on their poop sand which and wanted to see what all the rave was about. Honestly it tasted like sh*t. The consistency wasn't what I thought and I had to pay extra for fry's. I did like the fact that there was a little bit of corn in the sand which, a nice lil touch, a gem of goodness in each bite. So overall I give the business itself a 1 star for the absolute nonsense posted by the owner/chef. I do give it a 4.5 star for its diverse menu options and the guts and willingness to try new things.
