Banana Matcha (10/10): The Okumidori matcha in this drink was SOOO delicious. I love the slightly nutty notes in the matcha, as well as the very subtle bitterness. This has honestly been the best and most high quality matcha that I have tried (and this is saying ALOT because I have tried so many places). The banana cream that they use on top is not real banana, but I still love the flavor and creaminess of the topping. There are also two caramelized bananas on a stick on top of the drink, and those bananas had a slight crisp exterior from the bruleed bananas. The caramelized bananas were super delicious as well. Sea Salt Toffee Matcha (10/10): I tried both the Hikari blend and Okumidori matcha, and I personally like the Okumidori matcha more with this drink. The sea salt toffee cream on top is also really delicious. I can taste the caramelized sugar flavor and slight hints of salt that make this cream so yummy. Since the cream is pretty sweet already, the Okumidori matcha pairs super well with the cream because it is not as sweet as the Hikari blend. Double Standard (9.5/10): I loved how they use the Hikari blend in this matcha!!! The sweetness of the Hikari blend is necessary in this double matcha or else the drink would be too bitter. I loved the taste of the matcha cream top with the matcha latte; it was the perfect strength and sweetness. This drink is definitely a great drink to start the morning with; it gives a great consistent caffeine boost throughout the day. Pink Coconut Matcha (6/10): This drink uses the harmless harvest coconut water and a matcha cream top. The matcha cream top has an amazing matcha flavor to it, but I'm not a fan of the coconut matcha combo. I love coconut, but pairing it with matcha makes the drink taste a little weird. I also don't think I could justify the price tag of the drink, especially since they're selling bottled coconut water with matcha. Lychee Blossom (4/10): I wish the lychee flavor in this drink was a bit stronger; I can barely taste it. I also wish that the tea itself was stronger. It is a little bit too light for my liking. Disregarding the fact that this shop has tea in its name, I would not recommend getting the tea. Overall Thoughts: I really really do love the matcha that Drip Tea Cafe sells. They hand-whisk the matcha, and they definitely use high quality matcha for their drinks, which I can taste in each matcha I try. However, they are the most expensive cafe that I've been to in California, and I don't know if most people would justify the price tag of this place. I would assume that this is the case because Drip Tea does not have competitors yet, but I hope the price could be a little more affordable and on par with what market prices matcha really is without sacrificing the quality of their drinks. The staff are super kind and helpful when taking my orders or giving out orders. They are very knowledgeable and answered my questions in a very detailed manner. There might be a small line to order, but the line usually goes by relatively quickly. The wait mostly depends on how busy they are, but it usually averages around 15 minutes. There are quite a bit of people sitting at the tables in the cafe studying or meeting up with friends. The interior is super unique and modern, and I love the vibes that this cafe offers! I would 100% trying this cafe if you have the means to, just beware of the menu prices! read more

The syrup was settled at the bottom, kind of like how milk separates sometimes, so you definitely have to stir it well to get the full flavor. It ended up being really pleasant once mixed. The barista actually recommended the regular vanilla matcha--she said she's not a big matcha drinker but loves that one--so I think I'll try it next time. I've tried the Thai tea, Matcha Latte, and mango sticky rice milk tea. All the drinks have tasted good and I like that they make them to order. The mango sticky rice milk drink is the standout with mango smoothie, coconut milk and green tea. It reminds me of my favorite drink at Hui Lau Shan. Been on the hunt for a decent matcha place in Fresno for a while. We checked out this place on a Sunday afternoon. A little bit busy, with people doing finding a place to do some work inside while the line was out the door. The matcha eispanner was very good. It was a little on the sweeter side, so I suggest if you like your matcha more bitter, this one isn't for you. The sea salt toffee matcha seemed to lack both sea salt and toffee.
