One of the agents confirmed that the car will be ready for pickup on Thursday; I arrived at the dealership around 4 p.m. on Thursday at Prestige Lexus Ramsey, NJ. After my arrival, one of the agents informed me that the car was not available for pickup and that the pick-up date was Friday instead of Thursday. Yet now that I'm here, the car may be ready and cleaned. After completing all the paperwork, as I was heading out, I noticed the car was not detailed (interior & exterior). The only thing they did was vacuum the floor, and since the dealership closed at 7, I couldn't request to detail the car. This dealership request you to have $500 deductible insurance on your policy and they put a monitor on your car and each month you have to put a 2 codes to the little system they put in your car after you pay for it. Bought a truck from there the lady that sold me the truck gave me a different price from the paperwork that was given to me basically a 2021 Chevy Silverado was supposed to be sold to me for 63,000 with 55,000 miles after they took the money they took me to the back to fill out the paperwork. I just needed to sign three papers with my signature after receiving my paperwork. The amount on the vehicle came out to 80,000. Read and trust the reviews. How do they call themselves a legitimate business when they only reply to positive reviews and leave out the bad ones? Yes, the process of getting a vehicle with them is easy and simple, but there were so many disadvantages and red flags when you sign with them. They claim to do no credit checks, but do it anyways. And they want to know how much you want to put down for a deposit, even if you came in for a quote, they only seem to care how much you will put down. Seems really suspicious. And, the agent will make you leave a 5 star review on their page after signing. That's what they made me do. So don't let all the 5 stars (especially the ones with no review) fool you. First off, you HAVE to call during business hours to make a payment. Super inconvenient when you don't have an online portal to easily manage your payments like other REAL dealerships do. When shit happens, your vehicle automatically shuts off when you're a couple days behind on a payment, and they have no pardon days whatsoever. Super stressful when you can't get to work when your vehicle shuts off from missing one payment. And they WILL repo your vehicle if you are behind on even one payment. I went from having a $308 payment to paying $1400 to get my vehicle back that time. Secondly, whatever sales representative helped you sign your vehicle will pester you with calls and texts later that same year and will ask you if you consider trading in your vehicle for something newer. This is a way how they make a commission off of you. Even after I declined numerous times, they will still pester you to make more money off of pressuring you to do a trade in. Me and my husband had NUMEROUS annoying experiences with a lady named Ivette. We blocked 3 DIFFERENT NUMBERS from her and she still found a way to contact us. Once, when I did attempt to do a trade in, but I had asked for a quote first. The guy there and a older lady with blonde hair basically pressured me to sign, even after acknowledging that I just wanted a quote and he ended up snatching the papers out of my hand and asked me to leave the property. I guess that idiot got mad that he wasn't going to make a commission that day lol. Super glad I ended up not doing a trade in! Third, don't expect for your payment amount to stay the same during the entirety of your lease. My payment has gone up almost 2x since I got my car within the last 2 years. They will send you a stupid letter in the mail stating the same reason why your payment went up (all for some bogus protection plan) Lastly, it is going to be a PAIN IN YOUR ASS if your vehicle ever starts having some issues and you have no choice but to take it to their service department. They all have poor communication skills and do not return your call or give you updates on your vehicle unless it's to request payment like the greedy assholes that they are. I got into a serious altercation with the guy there (who claims to be manager) named Alejando. He will talk to you in a degrading and condescending and unprofessional manner. And he expects for any repair cost to come out of YOUR pocket, despite the protection plan that you're paying so much for. He will lie to you and gaslight you. He would not hand over my vehicle when the tow truck i requested came to pick up, without having me pay for the previous company tow (that was supposed to be free of charge) and the service diagnostic fee (that he mentioned I would not have to worry about paying). And he is also bad at his job. He almost had me paying thousands of dollars for a new engine when it turned out, he wasn't even doing his job properly and confused my vehicle for another customer's vehicle on their lot (he had 2 of the same vehicle on the service lot) In conclusion, yes the process of getting a vehicle is easy here but you will be better off doing your business with an ACTUAL dealership, not with these lowlives. I naturally asked for the asking price, and the person I was talking to in messenger quoted me a price. Then I get a call from a salesman at the dealership by the name of Alberto Vasquez. He was all gung ho about me coming out and confirmed that the vehicle I was looking at was still available. Then when I asked him to confirm the asking price he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He told me that the car that I was interested in wasn't the $45,000 I was quoted but would be more like $80,000. I told him to check on the price and give me a concrete number, and that I wouldn't make the 3-hour drive without a price tag. Currently I am in the process of buying a new vehicle. I was in contact with one of the Sales Representatives there. We communicated about a specific vehicle that I had my eye on via text, which I saw online. This sales representative led me to believe they still had this vehicle In stock; that was untrue. I drove 40 min (27.5 miles) to see this vehicle they SUPPOSEDLY had. When I get to the location, they tell me they actually do not have this vehicle but offered to "Show you around". They are very racist. Our car got wrecked and they did nothing to help us. Instead they accused us of trying to get over on them. The manager of the service department very unprofessional.
