Super fun! Did a great job teaching how to improve throwing technique, and had fun games for our group!

Best. Team building. Ever!!! Super fun experience in a nice outdoor space. Our instructor took the time to make sure we were safe, kept an eye to make sure we were handling the hatchets properly, and led us through some friendly competitive games. We booked the lane for an hour and had the best time. Brewport Taphouse food and drink were available for purchase too. Parking in El Segundo can be tough on busy days, but it's worth it! Highly recommend!!

One of the best team building experiences out there! Mark is absolutely amazing and BrewPort Tap House had the best food and drinks to offer. I would do this over and over again with clients in the future. Everything was explained and the training is unmatched! If you have an opportunity to do this you will not regret it! Thank you Hatchet Hound for making this a memorable event for me and my partners!

Matt and Mary are good host and provided us pointers on how to throw the axe! It was a fun day. We'll definitely be back again.

This is a perfect place to bring your kids and a wonderful spot to sit at the bar, watch the game, and have a few drinks. I don't particularly love BBQ food but I did like what I ordered. My bartender and server was named Elise and she was fabulous. I asked her lots of questions about the restaurant and she was happy to answer them. I also want to add how big this space is. This is not a small restaurant and there is plenty of seating everywhere. I think it's a perfect place if you want to come with a group of people.

And each of the times I've wanted I've had a pretty good time. This visit was for a really large party for one of my good friend's birthdays. We ordered one of the large platters that more than fed all of us. The barbecue items and the sides were all pretty darn good. I didn't drink this time around because I had to drive somewhere right after but they do have a great selection of drinks. Just a really solid place if you want good barbecue in a fun atmosphere. Seemed like there's plenty of parking in the area, which is also a plus.

We wound up at The Axe District and I have to admit, I had so much fun! I had never done anything like this before but Alex, our wonderful instructor showed us techniques so we could be successful at this. She explained the rules, was very thorough in her lesson and answered any questions we had. We were then on our own. After a few throws, I really got the hang of it and surprised myself at how decent I was. The games were all computer generated and it was easy to keep track of everyone's score. They had a variety of games - tik tac toe, darts, zombie hunter and a game where you can upload a picture of an Ex or an unsolicited Instagram picture DMd to you for no specific reason , to use as target practice until you get good at throwing ax's. The Axe District was clean, does not serve food/beverage but allowed you to bring your own. A friend brought a cooler filled with goodies and there was a taco vendor just outside on the sidewalk so we were able to have that as well. I also liked the music played - good variety from Faith No More, Van Halen (David Lee Roth era), De La Soul to Otis Redding; it wasn't too noisy so you could have a conversation. All in all, it was a great way to spend the afternoon and I'm glad I came. It was different, fun and a great introduction to ax throwing. I would come back. A big thank you to Alex who was super nice and made this experience so fun and memorable.

There's street parking and different structures you can park in as well. It's also on the second floor of a plaza, pretty easy to find. The inside is designed weird bc the front desk isn't obvious and you have to turn a corner to find it? There was only 1 person working that shift when I arrived. Apparently other people reserved 8pm too but they all were late so my social lane ended up being just me for a while before others joined. Sebastian did a great job of explaining the rules and he was super nice always coming around to check on me and the group of friends I randomly bumped into. He was very attentive and kind and funny! Overall I left with mixed feelings, but did enjoy the meal all things considered. Sauced is located in the Cinemark plaza across from Pitfire. Parking directly in front is limited, but there is plenty in the surrounding area. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, along with bar seating. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance as it can get busy. Service was pretty good overall, our server was friendly and the manager was making the rounds too which was nice. My only critique is that it did take a little bit of time to get service on things when we needed it, but did have things addressed quickly once we'd get our servers attention. On the food front, I got the ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, green beans, baked beans, and slaw. The brisket and ribs both came out very dry unfortunately, but the ribs were flavorful (the provided bbq sauces also helped). The mac & cheese was on the grainy side, but the baked beans and green beans were delicious. The Cole slaw was fine, a bit bland but nothing to write home about. I must admit that the food tasted better when I had ordered takeout a couple years back, which is why I had hoped today's meal would be even better than it was. It's also a pretty pricey meal for how much food you get, so I was hoping the quality of the meat would've been better. I don't think this place is bad by any means, but it does feel like the quality has gone down. I'd certainly be open to visiting again in the future, and hope things are better next time.

This is a nice place for either a rage room or an escape room…read more A few weeks ago, I did a rage room experience here, which was my first time doing a rage room. Marc, the owner, was very nice and kind. He even allowed me to do a special request where I wore an outfit (which is a Morpshuit with t-shirt and shorts) underneath the gear used for the rage room. Very kind of him to accommodate this. I have never done a rage room before, so it was a unique experience. Shattering glass, and breaking things felt very liberating and it helped me release tension/anger. Additionally, at the very end, there was even another surprise where Marc even taught me how to throw ninja stars on the wooden board. It was super cool. At first, I couldn't get any ninja stars to stick, but on one of my final attempts, I actually did get the ninja star to stick, which was awesome!! I was pretty elated that I was able to do that! Anyways, shout out to Marc the owner for being very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cool, friendly place to do a rage room or an escape room. I should check out their escape rooms some time soon.

Also took a while before someone came out to help (I think they were in the back assisting maybe another customer?) but some signage would help. - Waivers could be sent prior to arrival to save on time since it was a google form - staff could be more welcoming and better at explaining. I understand it may be sketchy to go to a customer's car to evaluate items brought from home since it could be a risk to the staff, but I think it could either be instructed earlier before arrival OR simply just state that you cannot leave the business. The delivery of the comment made by the staff was not very smooth (almost felt like implying we were bringing something bad or wrong). - A timer inside the room might be helpful as it's hard to keep track of time once you're destroying things. - Phone "mount" could be better secured with a clasp or something because one bump and our phone fell on the ground where there's shards and scraps everywhere. This could have easily scratched the phone. - Room felt cramped, but understand that may be limited by the size of the store space. - Half of the group was arriving late, in which I shared upfront and thought that the staff would assist in getting them as ready as possible before our first group came out to swap, but when I came out, I saw that they had not even begun to change. I understand the face shield and gloves are limited quantities, but they could have started fitting in the other items like jumpsuit and face coverings. - Also as we were swapping, I ended up giving the second group the instructions when it really should have been the staff to give them the run through. It felt very disorganized during the swapping. For the price, I think it would be nice if each group received at least one larger item and not just cups, plates, and glass. All-in-all, it was fun to let out some rage by wrecking things and not having to clean it up. My friends and I did enjoy this different experience. Also fun to watch them from the room cam inside the Axe Room as they rage.

I got my stroller, wheeler back to the car, and the seller left. The stroller wasn't fitting in my car. I tried to take off the wheels. I tried the trunk. I tried the backseat. I called my husband seven times, my parents twice each. I stood there in the parking lot googling videos and also trying not to panic because no one was answering. The Internet had said that the stroller would fit into a Corolla, so I had no idea why it wasn't working. No one in my family with our larger cars was picking up their phones or answering their texts. My friends that did respond and offer to help were forty minutes away, with their own toddler children. I couldn't accept that. So I waited and kept futilely fiddling with the stroller. One of the owners must have noticed that I was struggling, because she very kindly came over and asked me if I needed help. I sheepishly admitted that yes, I'm an idiot and could not seem to get the stroller into my car. She was patient and figured out that the double stroller actually folded twice. Then, she even helped me put it on the trunk. I can't even begin to express how thankful I am. I was so flustered, I didn't even catch her name. Seriously, I had been on the verge of tears because I was stranded and had no idea when my family would get back to me. She looked like the angel she was. Can't even begin to express my appreciation. Anyway, I highly recommend them. If anything, they are kind and attentive and the latter is pretty important when you're going to be around a bunch of flying axes.
