He showed up fast and was cheaper than anyone in the area. Unfortunately, his chip repair failed…read moreand he said he would give us a discount if the chip continued to crack. Well, it did and when I asked for a quote and how much of a discount he would give us he said "I'll have to think about it." He also said " OK, well your window is a lot of money over $600 so it'd probably be all the extra work I have to do and we don't calibrate over a grand or so" (his exact text copied and pasted over). So he doesn't calibrate if you have any sensors on a newer car. So, the repair was obviously way over his head and he couldn't do it. I might recommend him to someone who has an old car they don't care about but he can't do a complete job on a new car. I continued to ask for a quote and he never gave a straight answer. Then all of a sudden he is saying that he can't see the crack in the picture I sent even though he had said earlier that it hadn't spread to far... obviously he had seen something. He hasn't responded since then. Kinda shady if you ask me. Should have seen the red flag that every other glass repair shop was booked out for a week or two and he had the time to do it immediately. Learned my lesson with trying to do it the cheep and quick way. Spend the extra money on an actual business. I'm just glad I have the whole transaction over text. We are getting the window replaced. I recommend Auto Glass Ortiz in Lakeport.
