It was high expectations that first drew me to Driven. Those expectations were met, and in several ways, exceeded. From the moment we were greeted at the front door, the staff was attentive and helpful. I found the ambiance to be welcoming, classy and upscale, without crossing the line to swank. The bourbon selection, both locally and nationally crafted, did not disappoint. And, being a "Car Guy", neither did the theme of refined and exclusive sports cars. The octopus and hibachi steak appetizers are both a "must try". Those at our table enjoyed different entrees, and as expected, all of the steaks were prepared to the perfect temperature, and as good or superior to other upscale and exclusive steakhouses, including those in much larger cities. What was unexpected was the spectacular Pan Roasted Chicken. Why order chicken at a steakhouse?!? Try it and you will not be disappointed! The side dishes, salads, and desserts were also delicious, and continued on the theme of meticulous attention to detail. While this is a recently opened steakhouse, It seems that the "new restaurant gaffes" have been minimized or eliminated. Every review should have a suggestion for improvement, so mine is to have Bugatti on display, which would be much appreciated! Wild Experience (In the Best Way) We asked for a tour while we were waiting for our table, and someone came over almost instantly to show us around. From the second you walk into the showroom to the moment you leave the members' area, it's just one jaw-dropping thing after another. The amount of high-end exotic and luxury cars they have is unreal. Honestly, I didn't fully understand what the place was about until we got the tour. They do tinting, vinyl wraps, performance upgrades, repairs, maintenance--you name it. Pretty much anything you'd want done to a car, they do it. Coming from the automotive world myself, I thought it was super cool to see that side of the business. Shortly after the tour, we got the text that our table was ready. Our server (pretty sure her name was Kayla) was awesome--super friendly and knew her stuff. She gave us a bunch of recommendations, and we ended up trying almost all of them. The food was insane. This place is amazing! From the moment we walked in I was honestly impressed. The atmosphere is insane, I haven't even seen anything like this in Vegas let alone northern Colorado. The food is phenomenal. Every single thing I have tried here is fantastic from the Filet Mignon to the burger on the lunch menu, I've genuinely never had better. The cocktails are also really good. If you're into whiskey, they have a really good selection. There are quite a few that I've never had before that I really enjoyed trying.
