Drop In Donuts was delicious! Right when you arrive, there was a line forming, so we knew it must be good. The ambiance was very cute and simple. We ordered some sugar donuts, chocolate and cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls were so soft and amazing! We all enjoyed what we picked, and we will definitely be back!

Half a dozen amazing donuts and a sprinkling of donut holes!

Few things could have pleased me more when turning 60 than waking up to find that my husband snuck out at 7am on a Saturday morning to stand in line waiting for Drop In Donuts to open so he could surprise me with a half-dozen donuts, each representing a decade I've spent on this planet. Well, maybe beer would be a tie, but not at 7am... and besides, that would be a different review. But back to Drop In Donuts. Drop In Donuts is so popular in the Fort Bragg/Mendocino Coast area and their donuts so damned delicious that you need to wake up at ungodly hours while on holiday there just to get a taste before they sell out. And they always sell out fairly quickly! Yeah, they're that good. This small shop features raised donuts as well as cake and traditional cruller style donuts on their menu. And according to their menu, they also occasionally have malasadas available, and apple fritters (but only on Friday). Drop In Donuts also features a rotating seasonal selection of ingredients and flavors. This time of year (November) featured coffee glazed and pumpkin spice glazed risen donuts. They were both soft and sticky and utterly delicious. Apparently the husband said they had a guava glazed donut, but he decided on a few other flavors like passion fruit glazed, coconut flake glazed, Mexican hot chocolate cake donut, and cinnamon sugar cake donut. They even threw in a complimentary handful of sugar coated donut holes in the box. Nice touch! If I knew turning 60 would be this delicious, I would have celebrated sooner! Thanks Drop In Donuts for making my turning 6-decades-old a little less traumatic!

So special to meet the doughnut maker and have her walk through with us everything she made that morning. A sweet treat!

Finally got the chance to check this place out. Their Mexican hot chocolate cake donuts were delicious! I got a mixed dozen and everything was pretty good. They even threw in a couple donut holes, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Their orange hibiscus glaze was so interesting and surprisingly really good, I don't usually like orange/lemon flavors in sweets. The raise donuts were more dense than I'm used to but they had a good flavor. Service was great and there was plenty of seating!

My 'day off' started early as I'm not a big sleeper. It must be becauseI am #HanSolo. I grabbed my phone to see what laundromat was open early. So it was off to Columbi's, who opened far earlier than anyone else, where I heard the dryers were fire. That meant I needed to get some nourishment leaving me with few options. I decided for sweets, something I don't normally do for breakfast, BUT I can say Drop In Donut might make me change my mind. The place is warm and welcoming where you are greeted warmly even if you aren't a local. As you can see the selection is very strong with great choices to fit every palette. I chose an old fashioned which I hungrily devoured. I chose a cinnamon roll as it's the favorite of my kids and boy is it an eye opener... it is ginormous and I'm not just saying that because I'm a guy. The picture does not do it justice and I'm a HUGE (is that a faux pas now that it's another election year ) fan. Lastly, but not least, was the fabulous cold brew they serve. Fort Bragg if you are ever up with the sun needing a pick me, wanna treat the family to something special or whatever, stop by Drop in Donut it will be worth it! Amazing artisan donuts in Fort Bragg! This is not your maple bar or even maple bacon bar establishment, this is yummy, fresh, and interesting flavors. The owners were really friendly and we enjoyed a buttermilk cake, strawberry, vanilla bean, and Mexican hot coco donut. Along with strawberry fritter and donut holes. The flavor and textures were amazing. Enjoyed a delicious coffee and almond milk latte. Can't wait to come back for the hot chocolate donut, beware it does have a little kick to it but wow the flavor left me wanting more!

I cant help myself sometimes. I just saw the donut sign and walked in. I think I blacked out. The employees were so nice! They even let us come in with our big brute of a dog. They were so sweet. The locals hanging out were also so fun to chat with. We came in a little late. So the selection of donuts was minimal. It certainly didn't stop me from enjoying a Strawberry Donut. My man got the Chocolate with sprinkles. The Strawberry was very good. Chocolate was awesome! We took our food and walked around. It was great little morning walk about snack. Ill need to come in earlier to get some of the other flavors.

Yum... Fresh, delicious, not greasy. Nice large size. So YUM! Lovely atmosphere. Relaxing. Came a little late in the morning so pickings were slim, but they had what we wanted so YAY! Gal workin the counter was courteous & friendly. As an artist I was digging on the art hanging & as a music lover and huge fan...the dope Beastie Boys skateboard deck.

It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into the recipes. Unfortunately, my latte was disappointing. I noticed that the coffee was made from freshly ground beans and the espresso was brewed to order, so I expected a much better result. In my opinion, the drink was fairly average and did not match the quality of the pastries. One other thing that felt a bit awkward was having a child at the register, apparently helping his mother, actively asking customers for tips. Personally, I didn't think that was the best approach. That said, the pastries left such a positive impression that I would gladly come back. They are clearly the highlight of this bakery.

The bread on the breakfast sandwich seemed stale, the cheese appeared to be Kraft-style processed cheese, and the sausage lacked flavor and color. The bagel was hard and crumbly, making it difficult to enjoy. The pastries also seemed old, so the muffin liner was stuck to nearly the entire pastry. We spent close to $40 and were unable to finish most of what we purchased because the food quality was so poor. While the service was excellent, the food did not meet expectations, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

As with most Starbucks, when you ask for "no foam" and emphasize that you literally want NO foam as…read moreyou have a gag reflex to foam, they mess up and still leave a lot. I watched the girl pour mine, and she did one pour to fill the cup, then dumped out the rest of the steamed soy milk (what a waste!) and then did one quick terrible scoop of the foam, which leaves a ton of foam on there. The correct way to do it -- as I've seen Starbucks managers train employees to do -- is to fill the cup using the spoon to hold back as much foam as possible, then use the spoon to scoop the foam off the top (this is where most Starbucks stop and don't take extra steps). THEN pour more of the steamed milk into the cup (again using spoon to hold back foam), and then scoop again -- and keep doing this until the cup is full, and there is NO foam (about three times). So you see, if you prematurely dump out your steamed milk and waste it, you cannot achieve this final foam-free cup. And that is what they did here, was waste the steamed milk, and give me a cup full of an entire inch+ of foam on top. Yuck. I even told the girl this better way to do it, and she smiled and said "Yes, that's the best way." So then, why didn't she do it? On a positive note, after I proceeded to remove the foam myself, the drink underneath was delicious. Also, the Spicy Falafel Pockets are not listed on their menu inside, I had to ask if they carried them at this location since it wasn't listed. They do. And these are super delicious! So good, we went back in to order a second round of them. Luckily they had enough, but you know... that's probably because you can't sell what's not listed on your menu. People won't know about them! So I advise you ensure they are advertised. Also of note, the second time we went back in to order more Spicy Falafel Pockets, they set the paper bags in a puddle of coffee from someone else's cup... Why set our food in a mess like that? Overall, delicious. But your training needs improvement (how to ensure no foam) and not setting customer food in liquid messes, and your menus need to include what you offer.

So on our way to camp at Westport we stopped off at the Starbucks in Fort Bragg, as many other…read morefolks did at the same time. The young man working the register was also working the drive thru, resulting in pretty extended waiting time to order. We ordered four drinks (3 grande and 1 tall) and three cake pops. The total came to about $36. It took quite a while for us to get our order. Everything was fine, but it seems like it was quite expensive for what we received. The store itself was clean. It was a typical Starbucks, so everything was pretty much as expected.
