Five enthusiastic stars!…read more A water leak from above my home office caused some damage to the ceiling and wall. The cause was remediated but the dampness in the room was not improving. We called MasterTech Environmental for an air quality test and moisture assessment. Tom Duff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The air quality test showed no airborne mold, but the dampness in the ceiling was of concern. His team came out to remove parts of the drywall to assess for mold. Trace amounts of black mold were uncovered along with quite a bit of white mold. The team quickly removed all affected drywall and insulation. When I tell you these guys are thorough and work clean, I mean it. Tony, etc were meticulous with closing off the affected areas for safety and ensuring no mess was left behind. There wasn't an ounce of dust anywhere. It was as if they were never here! MasterTech Environmental does not replace the dry wall, but they recommended an incredibly reliable contractor who did. He also worked exceptionally clean and had my office back to normal in 2 days. Diane in the office is a sweetheart and her communication was second to none. She kept me updated on everything and ensured I received detailed reports complete with photos for insurance claims. Pricing was upfront and fair and they provide a 5 year guarantee on their work. I cannot recommend this wonderful business enough. They will take excellent care of you and your home!

While I wanted to get it fixed the prices I was given by other supposedly reputable companies in the area were astronomical. I delayed until I was given a realistic estimate from Mastertech. That is not to say it was cheap but reasonable by comparison. I was especially impressed when getting my estimate that I was being listened to and not talked at. The guys who came to my house were friendly and professional. They sent up a containment area so the rest of the house was safe from the work area. It only took a few days to clean out and clean up 40+ years of stuff in the basement. Now I have a perfectly clean and empty basement. Oh ,and I have a certificate stating my house was clean. Now for a side note to people like me who honestly don't know what you got till it's gone.....I will say that you must (let me emphasize this) must know what you want to keep before they start clearing out your stuff. They will save what you say you want to keep and anything they deem valuable like silverware or family photos If they can. They we're thorough and I was naive and didn't think they would toss out my closed plastic bins of media or a sculpture I made. This is not their fault. What one seems valuable is subjective and I should have been more diligent in checking on what I wanted to keep. Now, let's all have a moment of silence for the gargoyle I made in high school. They did an excellent job making my basement and crawl space mold free.

It's a huge building with lots of senior services including an adult daycare, Home Health Aides, very reasonably cost senior transportation, and a host of other programs that they offer to low income senior citizens in Camden and Burlington county. I'm very fortunate my mother lives in their catchment area as she needs the medical transportation. We've just begun this relationship with this organization and I've been impressed with how they manage to provide services even though they are operating on such a low-budget. I was happy to make a donation to them as I could see it goes directly into helping seniors like my mother. The staff there is so pleasant to work with and are dedicated and do such a good job. I will say however that because of the low budget and staffing and the reduced number of hours with the medical transport you have to make the calls in on time in the morning to schedule and it's required two weeks in advance for scheduling medical appointments and you have to call the day before to confirm every appointment. With more money I'm sure they can become more and more automated in this process or at least have more vans and more staff available. My mother said that so far the drivers were very nice and they were on time and that they drive good too. And that is high praise from my mother.

This didn't result in a discount. I didn't fight it because he spent about 12 hours 'fixing the dry wall'. Promised that it would be paint ready, which to me means excess dry wall cleaned up textured, and seams smoothed. Several spots were missed the first day, but addressed by revisiting the provided the second day. At the end of the second day when he finished the same cracks were still visible with just a massive amount of dry wall going away from the cracks. Along with that things were patched that were on the list with so much mess I had to remove the spackle and do the spot again. He also didn't texture anything during cleanup so things are not paint ready. On top of the amount of mess left behind, I spent hours this weekend cleaning up dust and starting to correct the work. I was hoping this would save me hours of work cleaning and sanding drywall myself. This is not the case between needing the work redone and the cleaning. I wouldn't recommend them for dry wall work.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. The owner, Steve, contacted me personally just a few days after I I requested more information through their website. He responded to my home personally and gave me a detailed explanation as to why I was getting water in my basement (I had a general idea, but wasn't aware that the acidity of the south jersey soil compounds the problem). He had photos of "before" and "after" basements, as well as pictures of what happens to a basement if you let the problem fester for too long (I'm sure you can imagine). The crew who worked on my basement were FAST. Day 1, one employee, Andrew, responded to my home to move the washer and dryer and remove some paneling and shelving we had in the basement. The rest of the crew arrived on day 2 and on day 3, they were finished. Steve responded personally on day 3 to evaluate their work and to see if I had any questions. The foreman, Peter, was GREAT as well and made a point to show me their progress and explain exactly what they were doing. Not only that, but they went above and beyond what was agreed to per contract. They installed 5 basement window wells instead of 4 (due to an initial miscount), and packed and repaired several cracks in my basement walls. I won't post what I paid, as every home is different. But I will say that, when you waterproof your basement, it is never "cheap." And, in fact, as in most things, you get what you pay for. I am very happy to recommend Dry-At-Last to anyone in the south jersey area who has a basement water problem. read more

Hello. We hired Steven and the crew to fix our leaking problem in the basement. I was so ecstatic about the job and how the team laid everything out for my family and I. We had called a different waterproofing company over a year ago and lets just say they did an awful job. It was incomplete and the water was still ending up in our basement. I have little kids running around and was stunned when they couldn't do the job properly. Which is when I got a hold of Steve. It's been over a month since his crew did the job and there was been not a single drop of water. I am so so so happy about this. They connected with us, allowed us to be apart of the job. I had a mold problem in my basement and contact Dry-At-Last-Waterproofing. Steve and his guys did a great job installing a French drain in one section of the basement. Even though this was a small job that only required one wall, they did topnotch job that required drilling part of the basement, installing piping, and a sump pump to route any water that might come into the house. The finishing of the cement work was done very neatly. They were a very careful to keep all the dust to a bear minimum. I got 6 different estimates from companies around my area. Every single one of them said and did the same thing except for Steve(the owner) and his crews. I was greeted by Danny whom was very polite and nice. When Steve showed up to my home to give me the information I was seeking, he allowed me to hear, see, and touch the tasks/products he was going to use to install the system. On the follow-up to our first project with Mike and his team at Select Basement Waterproofing, we proceeded with the plan of waterproofing the basement and keeping moisture contained at a reasonable level. Mike and team installed the following in our 160+ square foot basement: -French drain -waterproofing / Insulation on walls -new sump crock (with new battery backup sump pump) -Glass block windows -Radon pump -cementing / closing up the floor I was thrilled with the results of the hard effort given by the team. Everything was completed thoroughly, professionally, and cleanly. No questions were left on my mind (kudos to Mark for that level of detail and for managing my questions). Mike and team were professional, funny, friendly - just good people all around. I even took them to lunch a few times during the project! Mike gives an honest assessment and I never got a feeling I was being oversold. He and his team bring hard work and years of experience. Highly recommended with zero hesitation.

Today was the culmination of a GREAT Experience with Cambridge Exteriors, LLC from Medford, NJ…read more Their salesman, Adam, was one of many who we had provide estimates and he was extremely professional and provided us with the most comprehensive quotes of any of the companies we met with! Their pricing was very fair and competitive! They offered the GAF roofing system that provided what we needed without over selling the job. I had the pleasure today working with their foreman, James, and a fantastic subcontracted crew that tackled what initially started out rather straight forward but the original plywood substrate from the 1970's was in really bad shape - they replaced all of the needed plywood without issue and gave us a fantastic finished product and they left the house and grounds better than they found it! I'm completely satisfied and would highly recommend them for a roof replacement! Adam then followed up with meeting their gutter crew the following week and because I was not able to meet them, he FaceTimed with me so that I was able go over the scope of the project with their crew foreman and get my questions answered before work started! I was able to get down on the weekend to check out the completed project / they did a Fantastic Job with the installation. They were able to hide the mounting screws for the downspout straps and even filled the holes in the siding where the old straps were attached with color matched pop-rivets. They also did a much better job with the downspouts where they entered the drain pipes! This attention to detail made the whole project look Fantastic! Thanks for having such professional installation crews working with your company! We are totally satisfied with both the new roof and the new gutter / gutter guard installation! Leaves us exposed and sort of not under contract. I'm a realtor too. ..and a deal ain't a deal without signatures and deposits. Please do the needful. Thanks. I've done business with this company in the past and had no issue. I called them back out to fix a leak in my roof and installed my bay window. For they got 5 stars, 2021 jobs. Lauren was the person that sealed our deal. She's gone. Fast forward to 2025, the siding. No Lauren and the dynamic is clearly different. I use reviews heavily to make my contractor decisions and the fact that we've already done business with this company, made them a contender for our siding job. The were $5k higher than our lowest estimate. As homeowners we don't have all the answers but should not be made to feel like we're causing the contractor strife, or questioning their professionalism, or pulling them from their customer base to do your insignificant job because they're in "High Demand", when YOUR trying to figure out the work and services that will be included or excluded for YOUR work. We are handy and can do a few things to save ourselves money for the next project. (AND PLEASE NOTE THAT WE SHOP AT UNIVERSAL SUPPLY TOO! SHALLOW TO ASSUME THAT WE'RE LIMITED TO LOWES AND HOME DEPOT.) We were trying to make money decisions about our home and wallet. No one asked for favors...just a fair price and professional opinions. Its called due diligence. In this instance, we were considering about 4 estimates...ALL around same the price to make sure we'd be able to release that check with a smile. THIS SIDING TRANSACTION. It took us a few weeks to talk between all the contractors asking each one various questions and going back to ask additional questions. If we learned something from one that wasn't discussed with another, we asked. ALL got the same line of questions and there were many, so that we could be $25K- $30K. Ridiculous! ...with this transaction once we made our final decision and signed, I noticed that the contract wasn't signed by Cambridge. On the same day, I questioned it and was told that they just use the time stamp at the top. Last transaction, Cambridge signed, but I let it go. That was my first flag. I know better. HOMEOWNER's please know that a contract is not a contract without all signatures. Try taking a contract to a judge with one signature!?. Second...I noticed that after 2-3 weeks my deposit check had not been cashed?! Second red flag... so now...no contract and no money. In the real estate world, NO MONEY, NO CONTRACT SIGNED BY ALL PARTIES means we're NOT under contract? Hmm... I asked why my deposit hadn't been deposited and the truth came out. You didn't want to work with us, then tried to spin it like we had the reservations and weren't comfortable. Let's process this! I signed the contract Cambridge didn't. I gave the deposit check and Cambridge, Marc, literally decided not to cash it. Not much more we could do on our end. The decision to not NOT deposit the check was because of a "Feeling" and now I'm guessing no signature on the contract was for the same "Feeling". I've been me a long long time so I can only believe that ....Strong lady Melanin with questions, that you don't normally get, made you uncomfortable. Let's call a spade, a spade. Makes sense now. I've seen "you" before. Guess people just trust with no questions. Thats mostly because they don't know what to ask. HOMEOWNERS...ask your questions and trust your gut. It normally tells the truth. We wish you would have been honest and expressed your reservations instead of not executing on what we thought was a deal and trying to spin it like your uncomfortably has anything to do with us. That's all you. We gave you a check to start an expensive job. We were as comfortable as we were going to get. I started to post the entire text thread...but decided not. Do better and recognize that its your business. You can say that you don't think your the right match for a prospective customer. Much easier to be honest up front, then to have this on the back end and waste people's time because of your displaced BIAS.

Definitely call them if you need exterior house washing or other exterior service...
