I have been coming here for years because their rates are very competitive but never I requested to put starch. The Pakistani lady told me that it was done months ago and for them to redo it, I have to pay full price without starch. Since I need to wear that shirt, have no choice except to pay. Also they lost a pair of my pants because they counted laundry so fast that they missed counting that pair. So I asked that Pakistani to check around but she only peeked in a hurry and not even bothered to look around. Told me she let me know if she find it which she never did. I took clothes to them for minor alterations and they ruined the clothes - several times... and still made me pay the bill! The owner & employee both are rude & disgracce! They have lost few items over the years, as I bring lots of items at a time, I dont find out till I need the item. when I went back to them to inquiry about the lost item, they always deny that they have lost them. Always count your items ( if you have lot) before you drop & count them when you pick them up! Also they may put double hanger so dont count the hangers, count the actual items. The only reason they are in business beacuse of the low price. The owner(female) is RUDE:-/, DISHONEST and always have an ATTITUDE. When you ask to redo an item that is not done correctly and she demand for more money or give you an excuse that you are wrong & you need pay more. They will charge incorrect price & when you do the math you will never figure out what each item cost. The receipt never shows the price & we pay what they asked us to pay. It has a convenient location, but I would like to find a new place. They've broke the buttons on three pairs of relatively new pants (bought within a year or two) on separate occasions. I've been a customer for over 10 years and have seen this place change management a few times, but I will base my review on how it is currently. I've tried many dry cleaners from Irvine, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Tustin. This is by far, the best value for your money. Their coupons make it an even better deal, but you have to remember to read the fine print and mind the expiration dates. It can seem complicated at first, but if you want a deal, you have follow the rules and hunt around for the coupons. I haven't seen them in the valpaks lately, but they are still on the valpak website. Here is the drill, get the coupon, have cash or a check handy and follow the rules of the coupon. Annoying if you can't spend the time, but once you become a regular customer, they sometimes give exceptions if you are short a shirt. The "medusa" owner as someone described her is actually friendly, she just needs to run her business and does make you sign waivers for certain items like swarovski crystals or embroidery. I would do the same if it were my business. Depending on what time of day you drop your stuff off, it is usually ready the next day or in two days. Positives: economical, pretty good with basic alterations, fast. never ruined clothes and I go pretty often since my husband and I work full time in business attire. will call if they do make a mistake - this is rare. I've only gotten two calls in the 10 years. Negative: cash or check only - you pay first, they will make exceptions to this if you've been a long-time customer. they re-drew the parking lines, so there is limited parking right in front now. read more

I took 3 articles to them to be cleaned only to find out that 2 items had been damaged. One so badly that it can no longer be utilized. The unfortunate thing is this is the first time I used them. I certainly will not be back and will advise others I know to not use them either. Their customer service is beyond horrible since they did not even attempt to contact me about the damage but waited almost 12 hours until I picked my items up to tell me the damage had occured and oh and they needed my consent to attempt to resolve. I have since attempted multiple times to speak with the owner even leaving my contact info to never be contacted. I will select another company for my business. I have been bringing my clothing for dry cleaning and laundry to Dry clean Express for over 10 years. I have been treated in a friendly manner and with respect on each occasion. A few bumps in the road, i.e. misplaced clothing (later found) and a random stain caused by another customers clothing in the machine (reimbursed for the shirt) has not stopped me from continuing to use this vendor. We have been going to the Dry Clean Express for many years not just because of their competitive prices, but also because of their reliability and customer service. Aside from your regular shirts and suits we often use them for special, hard to clean items like ballet jackets covered in sequins, silk ballroom dresses, etc. We can rely on them to be cleaned on time and management goes out of their way to solve any problems that might arise. Reading some of the other reviews I felt compelled to give our input as loyal customers. This is a business we can certainly recommend. read more

This place is horrible. They will lie to your face and say "we will do a great job, blablabla...," and will turn around and do a completely horrible job. They are also liars and crooks. I dropped off my wedding dress here. A lot of the loops came undone and they said they won't take responsibility for it nor provide a refund, or have me take it someplace else to have it fixed. Also, the flowers on the dress were pressed when they were supposed to be fluffed out which is the way it was brought in, making it look paper thin and ugly and they just simply refused to help me. They were very unprofessional and don't understand customer service. They even asked for cash instead of card so I went out of my way to get them cash and they treated me like this. It's unfortunate when a business chooses to lose a 10 year plus customer over $55 dollars. In 2007, I had taken in some drycleaning and written a check. Due to some unfortunate events that check bounced and I immediately went in and paid the fees and apologized for the oversight on my part. I've since then taken in dry cleaning on a regular basis. Fastforward FOUR years, I get a call from one of the girls there telling me I can't pick up my clothes until I pay for my returned check. I say what returned check, I paid you in cash last week when I dropped off. She said it's a check from December 2007. I just laughed and told her I had already paid that years ago. She continued to argue with me saying that if I had they would have given me the check back and to bring in my check as proof that I had paid. Now I don't know about any of you but I don't keep checks from four years ago handy. I did remember that I had my friend with me when I paid the check (another long time customer of theirs) and I took her in with me to vouch for me of sorts but still they were unyeilding. In essence, they choose to lose a long time customer over $55 dollars. Shame on you Dryclean Express. I would rather pay more for better customer service then to be treated like that again. read more

They took 4 out of 17 shirts and told my son these will be hand washed/ironed as they are colored. My son did not realize that they are overcharging for those. They Ruined a favorite shirt. This happened about two years ago. I brought in a few pieces to dry clean. When I picked them up, one of the shirts was torn in the middle of the back about two inches long. There was a note attached that said something like sorry or apologies, etc. I asked for the manager and got a woman who was extremely rude. I believe she was of Indian descent. Anyways, she starts talking to me like it was my fault for bringing the shirt. She tried to point out that the fabric was weakening from old age and that eventually it was going to tear. The shirt was only two years old and the fabric still seemed fine to me. She at least gave me my money back after asking for a refund, a whole $1.10 at the time. I read online that usually it is standard procedure for a dry cleaner to provide some compensation in events like this. I paid maybe $50 for the shirt. Seeing how it was several years old, I thought it would be reasonable for them to compensate me $15 for the shirt. The manager completely refused. I filed a complaint with the BBB which was never resolved. Anyways, I have not been there since. Bottom line, I no longer trust any of these dry cleaners offering their services for less than $2 a piece. You get what you pay for and they are certainly not any exception. I'm posting this after seeing one of their coupons recently in the coupon saver pak and thought it best to warn all you Yelpers out there. They lost 2 of my dress shirts within 2 months... I have been taking all of my family's dress clothes here for approximately 15 years and on occasion I remove the plastic and to my surprise, I have a shirt or two of someone else's. I just return them and don't complain but one day I notice one of my shirts missing and inquired about it. The horribly rude Indian woman (the owner I think) tells me it is impossible due to their system. Which is a complete lie because i get other peoples clothes often. I told her to please find it and call me. Then about a month later they misplaced another expensive Nordstrom dress shirt. I called to complain again but they treated me rotten. I have spent nearly 150 a month for fifteen years, $150 x 12 months= $1,800 a year x 15 years equals $27,000 spent and you would think they would value your business. I asked them to reimburse me for both shirts or find them or I will go elsewhere. They could care less. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Their work is very poor but my wife use to like them only because it was next door to her work which made it convenient but I would rather go to work naked then ever let them earn a dime from me. read more

This place has been going down hill since Neha has been in place, She must be related to the owner as bad as her customer service and attitude is towards the customer. They never want to accept blame for any damage that they have created. I have 6-7 shirts that all have a tear in the same spot. They say it was wear caused by me. Well, I have over 20 shirts that I probably wear once a month. I don't think wear is the issue. In fact 2 of the shirts I have only worn 3 times. A dress does not qualify as "any item". They charged me $4 for it and ruined it! My dress was stained, torned and after they improperly tried to mend it they tied up the straps and hung it up haphazd. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CLOTHES. Number 3: BEWARE not only was my dress destroyed but they did not clean it and still charged me for cleaning they did not do. The only thing preventing a 5-Star is that I just discovered them this week. If my first experience is an indication of the future, they have a long-term customer. I must admit I went there based on a coupon for inexpensive dry cleaning. The service was fantastic with friendly and knowledgeable counter personnel, and they went the extra distance when I returned to pick up my items. I have been using this place for two years, primarily because of the low price. I have even referred many people because of their low price. While the service of this place was always questionable, I was hoping that after referring so many people and for being a loyal and longtime customer, they would compensate me at least once for repeatedly losing my shirts. But to my dismay they treated me as if they didn't care for my business or had no idea who I was. As many previous reviewers mentioned, the owners seem to be not interested in simply providing a good service. Their "carefree" attitude will hopefully run them out of business soon. If you appreciate your clothes and do not want to have to engage in a weekly battle about things going missing, take your clothes somewhere else, anywhere else. I received a call to pick my laundry which I never do. When I went to pick up, the employee (a hispanic man) who is a very nice person, told me that one of my shirts was damaged. It appeared that bleach or some chemical may have been used on my shirt that discolored it from the shoulder area and the back of my shirt. He gave me my other shirts and told me to come back to collect the damaged shirt when the owner Neha will be at the store. I had to make a special trip on a Saturday when Neha would be available. Such a rude Indian lady Neha - PLEASE NOTE - she does not represent other Indian people or business persons. Do not judge other Indians by her. She needs to go back to wherever she came from and stay there or learn some courtesy and definitely customer service. She was so argumentative and kind of accusatory as if the damage was pre-existing. On top of that she kept on saying that I usually recommend "Dry cleaning" service at full price so that if your item is damaged then you get 10 times of what you pay for laundry service per our policy printed on the ticket. How ridiculous is that? I would not recommend this business and agree with other reviews about the attitude of the owner Neha - shameless - awful - manner less - rude..No business etiquette or customer service skills whatsoever. read more
