The new location on Harlem Avenue is so convenient and they have a cute coffee bar which adds such a nice touch to the shopping experience. Another perk to Mona Lisa has special events that are tied into the various seasons/holidays and they always have elegant refreshments to make the visit special. She went above and beyond to box my gifts and make them look so special. She was super personable and pleasant and just an overall great person and employee! I have noticed that Von Maur employees are always very pleasant, courteous & helpful. The store itself is always clean and neat. The piano player is a nice added touch. I selected quite a few pieces and went to the dressing room to try on. No one came to see how I was doing or if I needed different sizes. I came out of the dressing room. The sales lady eventually found me. I said, "Everything was too large. I'd like to try them in a smaller size." She said, "Oh," and walked away. No offer to help me find replacements. I did eventually purchase the one thing that had originally fit, but would have probably bought more if I didn't have to search to find all the right sizes.

I went in the very next day and the saleswoman found me a pair of pants for work that I ended up purchasing (and ordered a second pair in another color). I love those pants. So when I needed a dress for my nephew's upcoming wedding, I went back to J. Jill. The same saleswoman remembered me and started bringing a variety of items into the dressing room. I walked out of there with not only one, but two dresses, two sweaters, a little jacket and three pairs of pants, all items that fit me properly and look great on me. The next day, I saw online that there was a 30% off sale. Last night, I went back with my receipt and received the discount with a smile. This is now my go-to store when I need to update my wardrobe!

Then of course he had to get the fancy charger with the fan. We are not just stopping at one store. Who does that? This is a mall after all. I see him today speaking to officer Dargan 401 with Orland Park Police about clarifying statues of law, the mall director walks up and says "What does he think this is a legal seminar" joking in my face along with Dargan all because I asked how can you enforce law if you don't clarify? They both ignored my gesture and the Director of Security threatened to ban me just for asking for mall policy & when I asked for his name he tried to walk away. I've had issue with this man for years along with other mall vendors who pay to be there and he doesn't treat people with respect. His attitude seems like he doesn't have to talk to people cordially because of his position, I will also be escalating my complaint with the BBB based on this unprofessional behavior from a director of Security
