I could get lost in this store for hours. What a selection and prices are wonderful. Just bought three pairs of casual shoes here. I'm glad I didn't see any shopping carts there or who knows how many pairs I would have walked out with. We found my daughter's homecoming shoes here after hitting Nordstrom, Macy's, Steve Madden and everywhere in between at the mall. We couldn't find anything at the mall and walked out of DSW with three pairs that all would have worked. I suck at returns, but did manage to return the two she didn't wear (formal shoes she wouldn't have worn otherwise) and they were great and even told me they take returns for up to sixty days. I don't know any other store than Nordstrom with this type of return policy. By the way, the young lady that helped me today was great. I didn't catch her name, but hopefully the manager will know who she is because she was the only person I saw there expecting a baby. She's a keeper. Bravo. read more

Shoe heaven. Shop with a purpose here in this brand new store. Well organized and very helpful staff. I love how every items has sizes, unlike some other DSW's I've been to where you're scrounging around for your size. Not here. Even the sale racks in the back are purposely well managed, as staff frequent the area, making sure to put sizes away where they go. Rows and rows, or everything from comfy, elegant, to running shoes. *Don't forget to sign up for the frequent buyer type program for your steals and deals. Why not? It's free and you get discounts. My jaw dropped when I drove by and saw DSW open. I love DSW! I can easily kill an hour just trying on shoes. Make it two hours. I love shoes. No more driving to San Jose or San Francisco for a DSW run, even though the other stores are bigger and better stocked, and have a more robust clearance selection. The Dublin store is clean, employees are nice. The parking sucks, that lot is always crowded. DSW makes me happy. I left without shoes, but I had been craving a yellow leather purse for the summer, and there it was, calling to me with its buttery sweet voice, "Buuuuy me, I'm the yellow leather purse you've been looking for." What a great store! 2 men were on top of everything, organizing and cleaning mess other people made. Shoes were easy to find. Some great finds in the clearance section. I fell in love with few pairs of shoes but they didn't have my size :-( I will go back later to see if they get more. Prices are pretty good, some cheap and some little expensive. This used to be one of our favorite stores to buy shoes but not anymore. We bought 2 shoes and used a coupon and later realized that we had another coupon so asked the sales girl if we could use that too. I understand their policies but despite asking politely the two women were so rude and sounded almost racist. DSW you must correct the attitude of your staff, stating policies can happen politely and there is no need for arrogance especially when the customer was just asking politely. This review written by my wife about today's shopping experience at DSW store in Dublin: I bought a pair of shoes on Sunday, as it turns out one shoe was damaged! So, today I visited the store to return it. After staying in the long line with my infant baby, I finally got to the cashier, who kept my shoes and offered me to grab another pair to make an exchange. After I got another pair from the floor, the cashier said that I need to go through the same line again to get to her to complete the exchange transaction! THIS IS JUST PISSED ME OFF!!!! I had to stay in line AGAIN with the crying baby to get to the same cashier girl! By the time I got to her f.. register I had only one desire- to get my money back! DSW ..... It's a love / hate relationship when it comes to DSW, I have been shopping at DSW location in Dublin for several years and overall it's a fantastic store with fantastic prices, however I do have a couple gripes so to speak. Mainly the staff is often scattered around and not very easy to identify when needing help. However when you do identify them and try to get their attention, they are always in a rush or occupied. Additionally there never seems to be any good options in the clearance section for men's shoes. The woman department trumps the men's by a lot. I can definitely say that the staff needs to be a bit more attentive and helpful as I have visited other DSW locations and have found the staffs at those a lot nicer and helpful. read more

What happened to this place? I normally love going to this store but last week 5/24/18 I went to pick up an online order first thing in the morning and the place looked like it had been turned inside out. Stock was tossed all over the floor in the checkout line, the floors hadn't been swept in days, there were shoe boxes tossed all behind the counter, and there was only one cashier with a line of 7 of us waiting way too long for help even though she was doing her best to handle it all. Does corporate EVER visit the stores? This store looked down right unsanitary. So sad. read more

Went in to DSW the other day to return some shoes I bought online. There were five of us in line and one gal on the register. The man in front of me asked the worker stocking socks if they could open another register and she reluctantly agreed to do so after she explained that they normally don't unless the line was out to here (she is pointing to where there would have to be ten people in line) That just struck me as wrong. Any good business knows that you help the customers first then you stock the socks! So sock stocker took one customer then walked away to continue stocking those socks! Unbelievable. This Dublin location is just like all of the other DSW outlets. Large space, minimal but tasteful modern decor, tons of shoes. Easy shopping mall parking. Did you know that you can pile up your DSW coupons into one purchase? Thanks, DSW person at the cash register! DSW. So I just want to be honest I don't usually go on here to say bad Things but I was really disappointed in the service I received today. I ordered these shoes online said it would be done in two hours five hours past so I went in to check since the number online to call wasn't going through to the store. Once I went in the girl said they haven't even processed my order yet and she said could you come another day. I said well I kinda needed them for tomorrow. So she said ok let me go check but I don't think we have these and I was like ok she came back no less then three min saying they didn't have them so she cancels my order I go to check and found them ........... so I went back and she's didn't even care to really check for me or at least be honest or say hey could you come back in an hour or something. Or even told me honestly we are busy could you go see if you can find them. I honestly would have had no problem if she was just honest. So next time please be more helpful and honest I didn't catch her name but she had long hair and was short just over all didn't care not cool. read more

Just had an awesome customer service experience with Sam at the Dublin DSW store. What an amazing amount of patience. DSW was having a $20 bonus card with a purchase of shoes. Came in Thursday, as walking through the store I hear this employee tell another, I was just acting as if I were working when such and such came in. I looked back and asked about a coupon... She responded you'll be fine but, looked soooo unsure! I'm like well alrighty, continued shopping. Got in line stood there for 10mins, got out looked some more. Hoping the line would die down! Get back in line, longer than before! Stood another 15mins! I asked Jasmine, who seemed to be helping two of the cashiers while 2 other girls walked the floor up and down talking! Hey, can someone help ring up? Jasmine replies, No. Not now... With an attitude. I would have left but, my sister needed her items for an important event. Finally, Jasmine says. Ill help next! Ummm. We walk up just to stand another 5mins as she continues to help out. At this point im over DSW. She says, phone number? Give it. Oh sorry, phone number again? Wtf! Used my $10 reward, and let her know I have a coupon as well. I couldn't believe this chick! Jasmine asked me, Is that a DSW coupon? I said, yes it is. She says I don't think so. I said, Can u scan it?! She does and it worked! Why the hell would I try and present something different?! Anyways, I left this store very insulted and angry! I never experience shit like this! Nice store and good selection, but often times I can't find my size. I'm a 6.5 or 7 in shoes and when I use to come here I could remember never having an issue, but when I revisited anything that I seemed to like they didn't have my size. Maybe I just caught them on an off day, but I'll have to revisit soon. read more

This is not about the DSW Dublin store, this is about DSW in general. I've ordered two pair of shoes online in the past 4 months. Both times they've shown up "worn" (bottoms had clearly been on the street, one pair even had a stain on the top!). Brand new shoes! Worse yet, when I complained to DSW customer service they sent me a new pair (and I could just return the worn pair). Guess what? The replacement pair was worn too! DSW customer service has told me all I have to do is visit my local store (which happens to be Dublin) with the shoes to talk to the manager but that completely defeats the purpose of shopping online! At this point I believe the stores are in the habit of taking back worn shoes and/or online purchases get those worn pairs first. Bummer. With price parity and free shipping/returns so many other places, I will likely do my online shopping elsewhere. Tired of this. read more

My cashier was rude and unpleasant. Upon walking up to the register when it was my turn to be helped, she seemed bothered. I showed her my coupon for free ear buds and was rudely told she doesn't have anymore ear buds. I understand it's first come first serve and supplies run out but the way she notified me of it was very unprofessional. Then I gave her a coupon for $20 off my purchase that I received in the mail at my new residence that was addressed to the previous tenant 'or current resident', which I informed her I am the current resident. She then said the computer won't let her take the coupon because it's not for my account. I left the store without any purchase. What a waste of time. read more

YAY!!!! A DSW near me!!! I drove by hoping it would be open and it was! Today was the grand opening! Super awesome! This location is smaller than the other locations around the bay but still has a good variety and the place is nicely lit and designed very well. I definitely will be shopping here more! read more

They have improved since their opening. I was worried. The clearance racks are always full and clean. For the sized of the store they have a good selection. I find this to be better than the Fremont and Brentwood store. The SantaClara and SF stores are still better stocked with designer brands, but I do see more trickling in here now, probably returns, but it's more. read more
