The register at this store really wanna go back home lol Sunday on July 16th 2023, the register here was so rush and rude to let customer line up in the front and get out from the store. Tbh I should have leaved those shoe boxes on the floor but not on the shelve since I was so rushed. I went to the New Balance Livermore, CA outlet ealier in the week and asked an employee if they could place an order for me. They were super nice and at first responded "Sure! What did you want to order?" I then showed them the style number for the shoe I wanted to order and they go "Oh, we can't order that for you." and with no explanation just walked away from me. It was weird and I'm still confused if I offended someone? The worker had long curly hair and wore glasses. I wish I would have gotten their name. Just strange customer service. read more

If i could rate this store zero stars, i would. The staff are completely and utterly rude. They were not attentive to customers and showed no interest in helping out customers. The store was a complete mess even on a Wednesday (a slow day). Most of the workers were standing behind registers and chatting or standing in the back of the store doing nothing and not even checking up on me or other customers. I purchased shoes from Oregon. But sadly the sizes did not work out. I came to this location to exchange the shoe and insole for other pairs of shoes and insole. The employee with short/medium curly black hair helped me with my exchange, he was very laid back and made my exchange felt easy with no hassle. Them along with another employee in a red NB shirt were asking if I was doing okay, was because I had my bag and a lot of shoes and trying them all on at once so I definitely appreciated them checking in on me. They were not doing it aggressively or constantly doing so to where you felt like they suspected you on doing something suspicious. Tried on a lot of pairs with not feeling judged or having someone looking over my shoulders. Will definitely come back to shop here, loved how I felt safe and comfortable here. There is one thing I absolutely love about this store. The shoes are organized by size. Largest shoes are at the top. Smallest shoes are at the bottom. As a tall person (6ft 4in) I just wanted to thank you guys SO MUCH for doing this! This makes it so much easier on my back. They also carry a wide selection of sizes here. I saw all the way up to 14 for almost every style. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. I recently bought a pair of model 311 and a pair of model 515. my shoe fit is very wide EEE size and that is why I have chosen New Balance for many years. these new models seemd a bit narrow to start with but I though they would do. When I compaired them to my old shoes the molded foot bed was narrow and the pillow like padding was gone. When I walk they feel like I am walking on a tight rope or narrow band. IMHO they have changed to a EE or E width foot bed and removed all the padding to accommodate a wider foot. If you have wide feet don't waist your money on these shoes they no longer service my needs. read more

I got lucky when I got here as I was looking for a new pair of casual shoes and I stumbled a trail shoe for $40 that had the rare 4E extra wide width. The guy who worked there even was surprised that I found a pair of extra wides as well. I deducted a couple of notches because I brought my shoes to the counter and most of the staff were in the backroom or something. I waited a couple of the minutes in the front before someone emerged from the back to ring me up. If you are of Amazon or Leprechaun descent then you will have your run of the store. If your foot falls somewhere in the middle then your options are limited. I like to keep my running game fresh so I come in with my size 8.5 feet about every 3-4 months. I can always find something I like but have rarely left with my first choice. But this store has to be the worst, the staff don't seem to like it there. There was no greeting when stepping inside but a couple minutes later a blunt, "you're doing ok?" I love this place. I found my favorite running shoe a year ago. I found out that they are being discontinued this year. All New Balance stock that doesn't sell gets sent to the factory store system. I was able to walk out with 3 pairs at 55% off the original price. It was a bit of a drive from the bay area, but I think it was worth it. Picked up a pair of colorful trail shoes for $60 today. I've bought at least 10 pairs of shoes from this store (including a few back up pairs of the ones I wear for work). Ive never actually reviewed anything before but i was so pleased with my visit and my purchase i decided to create an account. I came in to new balance a couple of days ago. and was greeted by cain, he then asked me if i was looking for a certain type of shoe. I told him i was flat footed and he took me to some shoes that would help with that. He was very knowledgeable about these shoes and what blew me away was he told me told i "pronate" by looking at the bottom of my free runs. He measured my foot and told me i was a 10 1/2 2e, i didn't know this. He showed me a couple of shoes and they weren't feeling right, he then recommended a motion control insert in an 890 and some stability socks. I thought it was silly but i said why not. He brought me black cushioning shoes, motion control inserts and try on stability socks. He told me try on the socks while he set up the shoes. I put them on and they felt weird, he said the was normal because my foot wasn't used to it. He told me to walk around the store. That walk made me buy those shoes. I have not worn my free runs since, i will only wear new balance shoes now read more
