Me and my daughter came here for her bday shopping spree. It's so much better to be able to try the shoes on in store than shopping online. Almost always have to exchange. Cielo checked us out and was very friendly and helpful. She helped my daughter set up a DSW account so she would get points. The location is a little far out from San Diego, but the placement of the store is great if you are in the area. It is located in a mega strip mall that has an MTS train stop. Not too far from the 52 freeway. The parking is easy since there are thousands of spaces in this giant mall. Every store and restaurant you desire is pretty much located in this mall. Same DSW setup, quality, pricing, etc. Just like you would expect for a chain store. Helpful and friendly staff. Bathrooms that need a code to get in and they are spacious and clean. Wide variety of shoes, styles, colors, options. Plenty of shoes in stock. Socks, belts, and other accessories. Bought a pair of shoes as a gift for someone for Christmas here. I paid with cash. The shoes did not fit the person I was buying them for so I tried to return them. Cashier gave me attitude and insisted the shoes were worn (despite never wearing them before besides the person trying it on ONCE) but she called the manager over; they checked it and said it looked fine. And despite having the original receipt I was given when I bought the shoe, the cashier gave me a merchandise card instead of my original payment. I didn't find any shoes here in the clearance racks because they were so limited on selection and sizes, but the cool thing was they now sell kid's shoes. I show well past my available pick up time and they don't have the shoes. Turns out instead of reaching out to me about it, the lady "accidentally" confirmed my pickup instead. Well, I'll start off by saying I'm much happier shopping at a Wild Bills or western store than a regular shoe store. I'm a boot guy. However, with the recent adoption of my German Sherpher I needed a solid pair of walking shoes. Unfortunately walking several miles in boots isn't really a comfortable option. I came in here and found a pair of shoes. The store seemed well organized and orderly. There seemed to only be 2 people working at a time, so customer service was limited. There were several sizes of each shoe underneath the display shoe. If you didn't wear socks, there were several boxes of one time use socks placed around the various displays. Most of the shoes here seemed to be at or less than a 'name brand' store's price. When I wear at these shoes I would definitely check here for my next pair. read more

This location I have done several returns (at least 6) and every time it's been very smooth, fast, non-pushy and I love that. My new favorite shoe store. I haven't been to a DSW in 10 years because I wasn't a shoe fanatic up until recently during the quarantine. I would browse online and see all these cute shoes for less with really good deals when you sign up for rewards. Today I went in store and was impressed with the layout of the store and how organized it was. They really implemented COVID safety measures with one way arrows, hand sanitizer, and after you try on shoes you place them in a designated area for them to sanitize later. I have to give a nod to Carissa, and now that I write this having been months since I was in there I question I remember her name- I came in with a friend of mine that is a bride to be and I will be one of several bridesmaids. Our mission was to find shoes for the bridal party. Our mission grew from taking pictures to purchasing hot pink pumps for each bridesmaid. We sent Carissa on some phone errands to search for the sizes we didn't have and she was so helpful along the way. She seemed as invested in making this wedding day as special as we wanted it. This is my story . I became a stay at home mom by choice seven years ago and that was the last time I wore shoes. I am a true California girl I wear flip flops everyday for seven years rain , sun any weather any time. I was shopping in target a few weeks ago and my flip flop broke from wear, target had no flip flop in yet the few that they had were just poorly made they were so cheap they should have been sold at Payless or Walmart I came here and got not one pair but two pair of great flip flops. Love shopping the clearance here (for my husband), he goes through running shoes every 3-4 months (that's all he wears) and they have always the best deals! This time, looking through clearance, we found the exact shoe he wanted but in different sizes. So, Zach at the front, helped us look it up and see what stores had them, and called the store we requested and they put it on hold. We went to that store and picked it up no problem. Way too easy. I was going to spend the money anyways so why not get some bonus $$ towards a future purchase, right? Wrong.
