He told me he could come out that evening but if I could get through the night and wait till the next morning, I could save 50% on the labor charge since overtime rates were mandatory. I tried them originally through their introductory furnace inspection. They came out and inspected…read morethe furnace, and said the furnace was fine but our thermostat was broken and they'd replace it for $300. I told them I would do it myself, and reinstalled the original thermostat, which worked fine. 2 months later (in December) the furnace stopped. I called them, they said they would try to get here that day. We waited all day with no response. They came the day after and said they needed to order a part, but could not tell us when it would arrive. Into the weekend, after 2 full days without heat, they said to get heat on the weekend would cost $1200, or $700 if we waited until Monday or Tuesday. We chucked them and called another company. That company said this was a common problem and should have been caught in the inspection. They could come on the weekend to do it for $1000, or do it on Monday for $500. I shouldn't have called back after the thermostat issue, but I sure won't call again, and recommend anyone else also look elsewhere

The bad news: after 20 years, it was time to say goodbye and replace it with a new water heater. The good news: Chris could come next day, get the new one installed, and take the old one away. Chris provided a fair, all-inclusive quote, and the next morning, he showed up on time, with the new water heater ready to go. He finished the job in less than 2 hours, and we had hot water again. He then made it to my house to service my heating system in a half of an hour! When he arrived he was friendly and professional. He was able to troubleshoot the issue right away. We had a bad blower motor, but he already had the brand new parts in his van. In a little under an hour he was able to finish the job and restore heat to my house!
