Jerk chicken with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and broccoli.

I love to support local businesses and Dubb's is a local coffee shop around the corner from my place. This afternoon I was walking back from getting a haircut and I was passing by the manager stopped me to let me know they know are serving Caribbean style food. It grabbed my attention and decided to order the jerk chicken with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and broccoli. It was delicious! Make sure to stop by an order some.

I stopped by dubbs coffee for the first time and had a 10/10 experience. The owner Wali was super cool and friendly coffee was delicious and he told me they also do Caribbean food on certain nights which is awesome. Plenty of street parking. I'll definitley come back!

Casual and bright atmosphere. The man who was working refilled my matcha with the extra he made! You can tell he truly cares about people having a great experience at Dubb's. The turkey and cheese croissant was crispy and delicious

It was a great place to get some work done. I think it was the owner who took the order and made and he was very nice. There's a back area that has more seating but I didn't check it out. There were plugs by the tables and on the table top near the window as well.

Dubb's is my neighborhood coffee shop and I'm embarrassed to say that they've been open for 2 years and I just stopped in this past Saturday. Big mistake on my part but I'll make up for it. First off love the vibe in there. There's a few tables and also counter seating as well as a patio outback. Kicking myself that I didn't get pics of the patio but I will and I'll update my review. The owner Willy has great energy. Didn't get to talk to him much because soon after we arrived a wave of people arrived. But still even though he was busy he still made you feel seen if that makes sense. I order an Iced Oat Milk Latte and whoaaaa their coffee is so smooth. I had to ask what he used and he said it's his own organic blend. Proud of it too as he should be! I'm telling you guys if you enjoy coffee you need to check Dubb's out. I'll admit I love coffee but I'm not an expert. I'm more of a..it's good or I don't like it kind of gal. But is honestly the first time I was so blown away by a coffee that I had to ask what brand they used. I didn't have anything to eat but they have several item on their menu including a breakfast sandwich, burritos and empanadas. My husband had a couple of their empanadas and really enjoyed them. Parking was easy enough on this strip of Fountain. Oh and Willy mentioned they hold events throughout the month and to follow him on Instagram to keep in the Loop.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews I'll usually chuck it up as a loss and move on, however today ain't one of them days. If you order an iced drink it should be iced or somewhat cold not served over 6 barely melted ice cubes and then when you ask for an additional cup of ice to make the drink you initially ordered iced it shouldn't be meet with resistance or irritation, if you drink from your water bottle then proceed touch your nose then sniffle and then touch the ice scoop your hands should've been washed after you touching your personal body parts and handling/ finishing preparing a drink or food. I ultimately ended up throwing it away after I replayed the events in my head while writing this review.

Best coffee I've had in LA. Made with love. Great service. Jazz music in rotation. Couldn't ask for more.

We were in the area to cheer on our friends at the LA Marathon and made a quick stop at Dubb's for coffee, a breakfast burrito, and thankfully a much-needed bathroom break. My oat milk latte was just right, and my husband fueled up with a chorizo burrito that definitely had a kick, keeping him energized for the long day of cheering. I loved seeing so many regulars stopping by with their dogs, which added to the cozy, neighborhood feel. Dubb's is a great local coffee spot.

I loooooooove this spot. My girlfriends and I always come here in the mornings and chat with the owner Wally who is so full of life. He literally makes our morning and the vibe of the room feels like a second home. I always get the iced banana oat milk latte with cinnamon powder. I think I'm the only one that drinks it but no one else in LA makes it like he does so he probably just buys that syrup to make me happy. Which says a lot about Dubbs. Wally loves his people!

    Sammie S.

The coffee is freaking delicious and so is the food. We got the brown sugar in the matcha and a iced latte and it was perfect. Staff is so kind and friendly. Chill vibes in the lobby. I miss when coffee was like this :) It's not about fast food speeds, it's truly about the quality.

    Cool vibe, great chai!

Just stopped by this café for the first time... Super mellow, cool energy. Beautifully decorated. Indoor and outdoor seating. And the chai is PERFECT! Not too earthy; not too sweet. Can't wait to come back! Really friendly owner, as well!! Highly recommended!!

Sure they have only a gazillion awards, from best coffee shops to competition rankings, but it's their ability to curate and rotate excellent coffee beans from around the world that remains unmatched. The baristas are knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to guide you, if you so choose. Their coffee is priced reasonably, esp. beans, and the space is inviting. The minimalist decor, bathroom art ('butt' of course, insider joke when you partake in the porcelain palace) and quick turnaround is a recommended template for other coffee shops. What I love is their consistency. They follow a recipe that is dialed in to the nuances of the particular coffee beans and it tastes great every single time. My go-to is their pour over coffee. While the kid swears by their hot chocolate. Even their cappuccino (with non dairy milk) is next level. The food (made to order fresh, sandwiches) and pastries are excellent. The staff are kind enough to share their personal stash of hot sauce. Tip: Kid friendly, with a dedicated enclosed space for toys, books and kids to hang out, while parents get their caffeine buzz. Tip: Plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood, especially. on weekends. If you are looking for insanely good coffee in LA, head over to Melrose for a pilgrimage that you will not regret. Tip: Walk later to Oui Melrose for Tony's Khachapuri that is in a masterclass of its own.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

I also ordered a pastry and was surprised they don't have an oven to warm it up, which made the experience less enjoyable.
