Loved this coffee shop. A beautiful and peace place to work remote and tackle some emails, for some reason is was so clean and chic it reminded me of an apple store lol The matcha was delicious, it wasn't too sweet, it was aesthetically pleasing and the quality was surprising, There was various origins and blends for matcha to pick and choose from.

Being a coffee snob that I am, the coffee here is truely amazing. I was tempted to get some beans from here. What a delicious roast. A lot of indoor and outdoor spots available to work in and they also have cool looking tables to sit and hang out as well. Service was super friendly and do validate for parking.

I love Stereoscope's Long Beach location and the WeHo location was just as great! They have my favorite strawberry matcha too. Cold brew was also good! Service was friendly ad prompt. The spot bad a lot of tables to sit and work. There's a parking structure too so parking is easy!

New stereoscope coffee location unlocked! I've been to the Echo Park location and every time I'm in the area it's always my first choice. Love the quality of coffee and just how very detailed they are overall. What I love the most is thought as I tagged them on Instagram they'll immediately ask how my visit was or how my coffee was. That shows they truly care. This location is a bit more spacious and very modern/minimalist which I love. Parking is a little tricky though as it's only street parking so if you get lucky then you scored.

I heard good things about Stereoscope's matcha, so I headed over before work. Staff was super nice and patient to explain the different types of matcha I could choose from for my latte. I opted for the Hokatsu matcha, and the drink came out pretty fast; I also appreciated staff bringing the matcha over to me! Taste-wise, it was strong and unsweetened, which is exactly how I like my matcha! There's street parking right in front of the café, and the interior is minimalist, but spacious to do work or have a friend catch-up. Overall, I approve of Stereoscope!

It's got a pretty interior and good vibe to work in but don't pay for the drinks here. they're a scam. $10 for a "large" matcha that's like 12 oz is absurd.... even for LA. Their Large is NOT a large and it's all ice.

I love this Stereoscope location! The space is bright, spacious with a beautiful modern industrial vibe. There's plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), including large communal tables. A great spot for getting some remote work done! They have 4 different ceremonial matcha types to choose from. I got the Yorokobi series matcha latte which was recommended to me. It was so smooth and I could tell that it was quality matcha. Parking - there's street parking available but they also validate at the garage for 1 hour

What a cute little coffee shop with some nice merch and colorful arts. We came in to kill some before our dinner nearby. This is a good sized place with a lot of seatings. But the chairs seem to be a bit hard to sit in for long time. We decided to have cold brew, cortado almond milk and ceremonial matcha tonic tea. The caffeine drinks were strong enough for me. Matcha tonic was very refreshing and tasty. The service was fast and friendly!

Was in the Hollywood area for some shopping and Yelp directed me to Stereoscope Coffee. Here's what we ordered... Spanish Latte: excellent Madagascar Vanilla Latte: excellent Service was great as they brought me my coffee even though I was taking it to go. The shop itself was beautifully designed and very spacious with high ceilings. They also had a bathroom. This shop is one of many stores on the bottom floor of a large apartment building. I was able to park inside their secured parking lot for free with 1 hour parking validation. I'll definitely be back.

Tired this spot with my friends since we were in the area and I wish there was one closer to me. There's only street parking and then interior was modern and minimalism. There was a long line but the service was fast and then drinks hit the spot. The signature latte cream top coffee (4.5/5) was my favorite, the matcha cream top (4/5) was also good but I would recommend skipping the ganache milk (1/5). The latte was strong, creamy, and not too sweet!

I love how aesthetic this coffee shop is. Service is phenomenal and fast. I ordered a Spanish latte which was the perfect amount of sweet. There are areas to work inside or outside and of course everyone there is welcoming.

I was looking at a long evening commute back to NoHo when I decided I obviously needed a little bev to keep me company (and sane). There was a long line but San (I may be spelling that incorrectly) was absolutely delightful at the register. He kept a good pace through the line, leaving enough room for the bar to catch up but not so long that it felt frustrating. The really impressive part is he remained very perky, pleasant, and not too rushed. It was like a good balance of urgency but not chaos which as a customer service girlie, I completely appreciate and realize it's not always that easy to maintain. He also kept communication up when he was busy. 10/10 for San, keep him around! Parking wasn't too bad. There's a version where I could see it being hard as it's all street parking on Santa Monica, but I arrived around 4:20 or so on a Wednesday and found several meters wide open right in front. As for the reason we're all here, the drink itself! I chose the strawberry matcha over ice and it is DELICIOUS! I specifically asked for sweetened so I'm not sure if that's from the strawberry or if they add it so if you DON'T like your drinks very sweet I would ask for clarification as this was decently sweet (which is my personal preference). The matcha color looked a little light so I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough for me but it tasted wonderful. Perfect amount of ice to milk ratio. It was also surprisingly fast to come out compared with the time I waited in line to order. They even delivered it out to me on a cute little wooden tray while I was just waiting for them to call me to the counter. I know I've been here one other time and I don't remember what I got I think it was the vanilla latte, and I do so far prefer the matcha. There were lots of seating options and even a cute little patio area. The inside is a little industrial so I'm not sure it's the right 'stay and work all day' vibe for me but I think the patio would be amazing on a slightly cooler day. I'll have to investigate the outlet situation as well so I'll update this review next time I get to do a little more research. Price is fairly standard for the industry these days. I paid eight dollars plus tip for my drink. This location is a little out of my way with my usual routine but I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area (or betttter yet COME TO THE VALLEY)! TLDR: In a world where we are all becoming more and more intentional about where we place our dollars, Stereoscope is worth the investment.

I was driving home on a Sunday afternoon post workout, and this coffee shop caught my eye! So as a matcha girlie, I think this is the best matcha I've ever had. I ordered a Nakama matcha with simple syrup, but it was the coolest thing to see different types of ceremonial matcha offered on the menu, based on region. I also ordered an Everything Croissant, which was so delicious. The croissant has hint of jalapeños in it for a very subtle kick. I loved how spacious this location is, a great place to work or study. There were a good amount of people visiting the coffee shop but it wasn't overcrowded because of how spacious this place is. Additionally, parking is metered all the way down Santa Monica Blvd., and there are plenty of spaces on cross streets. I will definitely be back, perhaps to remote work, but absolutely to try the other matcha options.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

I also ordered a pastry and was surprised they don't have an oven to warm it up, which made the experience less enjoyable. I understand every shop operates differently, but I wish this was clearer beforehand. Hoping they improve the coffee quality and offer a way to heat pastries in the future.

She was genuinely engaged in talking about coffee, understood the beans she was serving, and was able to answer questions without hesitation. That's becoming harder to find these days, and it definitely added to the overall experience. The cortado itself was well executed. The temperature was right where it should be, allowing the flavors to come through immediately without having to wait for the drink to cool down. I was able to clearly taste the notes in the coffee, and the balance between the espresso and milk was excellent. The body held together nicely throughout the drink and never felt thin or watered down. My only critique would be that the crema and microfoam leaned a little more matte and foamy than glossy. It wasn't enough to take away from the drink, but a slightly silkier, shinier texture would have elevated it even further. That said, this was an Ethiopian natural, which can be a bit trickier to dial in and pair with milk while still preserving the character of the coffee, so it's a fairly minor criticism. Overall, a very good cortado from a shop that clearly cares about coffee. Good execution, proper temperature, clear flavor separation, and knowledgeable staff always make for a better coffee experience.
