And I'm new to the area, so yesterday I ordered some slider/buns for a sampling of what this place had to offer. The server was super friendly and accommodating, taking the time to walk me through the menu and share his thoughts/highlights. In terms of location, although the interior is a little small, it's well laid out and cute enough for an intimate setting. The bread was both dry and oddly soggy at the same time, making the sandwich unpleasant to eat. In fact, I didn't even finish the meal. It also did not have the advertised ingredients on the sandwich. My sandwich ended up costing nearly $20 after tip, yet it was roughly half the size of what I would expect from a comparable sandwich shop. Given the price point, I expected significantly better quality and value. I was also surprised by the condition of the courtyard, which appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Combined with the service and food quality, the disgusting overflowing bathroom the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this establishment. Was so excited that a kosher sandwich joint opened right in West Hollywood a few blocks away from my work! I just left there and the store was pretty crowded. And also I saw on their Instagram their iced matcha with strawberry cold foam and it looked sooooo good I wanted to try that but unfortunately they were out of strawberry cold foam. Anyways I wouldn't call what I received matcha, it was mostly milk and ice. I also heard great things about their egg salad bites they alas they were out of that as well. I got their cheese filled burekas and that was delish - wish I would have asked them to heat it. They didn't offfer so I didn't know if they did. It's not too flakey and not too dense, just right. If you've ever had frozen yogurt in Israel, this place is EXACTLY that. Not similar, literally the same vibe, same taste, same texture. The yogurt is super creamy but still light, and the flavors actually taste real, not artificial. Even the toppings and how everything is set up feels like I'm back in Israel. I've tried a lot of froyo in LA and nothing comes close to this. You can tell they actually know what they're doing.
