Raw salmon, sweet potatoes, beet lentil, shaved Brussels, super seeds, sesame avocado, chipotle and garlic sauces
    Jennifer K.

I love healthy food and this place looked amazing with delicious options! I enjoyed my build your own but I didnt like the shaved Brussel sprouts, they tasted uncooked but maybe that's the point. I would get the broccoli next time. I got the raw salmon with sweet potato, shaved Brussels, beet lentil, super seeds, and half an avocado with the chipotle and garlic sauces. The server was very helpful and made great recommendations. The sauces were delicious! Bowl was $22 and next time I would try advertised bowls. Cute store and kind service! The machine didn't let me tip though.

I wanted something different for dinner while still eating fairly healthy. I stumbled upon this spot on my way to another restaurant. I'm glad I gave Little Beet a try. It was delicious! I got a quinoa bowl with sweet potatoes, green beans, and salmon. I would definitely order again. This is more of a grab and go spot but it is clean and there's some stool seating inside and some outdoor seating as well. The only major con I had was the staff. Maybe they were just tired but they weren't too friendly and gave an "I don't want to be bothered" vibes. But despite that, I would come back. I love discovering more healthy fast food options.

Skip the Base, Add an Extra Side Custom Plate with green beans, salmon, and sweet potatoes, beet hummus, chile sauce
    Seanniece B.

I got this order through a delivery service so I did not interact with staff. The carrots, green beans were great and so were the sweet potatoes. However, the salmon was dry, like other reviews mentioned. The hummus and chile sauce offset the dryness. The sauces were amazing. The plate was filling. I'm not sure what it was but this plate upset my stomach in the way that dairy can upset the stomach. Yet, there's no dairy in the dish. So while the plate was good tasting, Im not sure if one of the ingredients were spoiled.

One of my favorite spots for a quick and healthy lunch! With its expansive and easily customizable menu of veggies, grains, and proteins, Little Beet is the perfect spot for a simple lunch with coworkers (especially since they're available on UberEats, etc.) or a quick bite as you meander around the Convention Center / Chinatown. I've tried this place more times than I can count, usually with a group of 5-10 people; it's perfect for a team lunch / large group since they have such a variety of options! Even with our largest orders, Little Beet has always been efficient, friendly, and did everything flawlessly -- truly no complaints there! As far as the food goes, they have several chef-curated options, but I usually opt to build my own. You get a choice of base (either basmati rice, quinoa, or greens), two veggie sides, a protein, a sauce, and a garnish. You really can't go wrong with any of their sides, but I love that they have a bunch of warm and cold sides and that they label everything with known allergens / dietary restrictions. I usually opt for their warm sides, especially in this weather, and my favorites include the charred broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, and green beans. They're all simple but executed perfectly. When it comes to proteins, I love their seared salmon! They also have a baked beet falafel and sweet n spicy tofu if you're looking for something plant-based, but their falafel tends to be on the drier side. My go-to sauces are the avocado bean dip and beet hummus -- who doesn't love guacamole and hummus? All in all, Little Beet is a great spot for a simple, straightforward, and healthy lunch. They have a pretty large and diverse menu, making it a great spot for a large group since everyone will be able to find something they like. Definitely give Little Beet a shot the next time you're in the area and are looking for a quick bite!

    PALEO BOWL

I loved this little healthy lunch spot! I got the paleo bowl and really enjoyed it! The food was fresh, the flavors were delicious, and the price was reasonable. Anything with salmon and avocado has my name all over it. The salmon was a tiny bit dry but overall good. I would come back here again for sure. My mother and sister also really liked their food.

I tried Little Beet for lunch with my co workers. I ordered the salmon dish Paleo bowl. It came with a beautifully seasoned salmon over lettuce. Then sweet potatoes and sesame see avocado. I inhaled it once I started eating it lol. It was so good and healthy. I cannot wait to try some more items from here! Definitely great for vegetarians, vegans and pescatarians.

Colorful, tasty, and yummy. I been traveling a lot for work. Spent the last two weeks in Texas around nothing but fast food and Tex mex. Now I'm in DC and have this near my hotel. Finally something that is as good as it actually looks.

Super yummy, healthy and convenient. The perfect meal for when you're in a time crunch. I created my own bowl with quinoa, beets, Brussels sprouts, salmon and some chipotle aioli on the side.

    OMG ... Delicious!!!

I've been on a shakshuka kick lately, so I opted for the the Sweet Potato Shakshuka, which is described as: Sweet Potato Curry, with Chickpeas and Sunny Eggs with a the chicken add-on - gotta get that protein in, after all. This was one of the most unique shakshukas I'd ever had... It literally tasted like a curry dish you might get at your local Indian restaurant, with a bit of a brunch flair to it. The curry itself had a wee bit of spice and was a bit sweet - but that could have been from the sweet potatoes. The chicken was served in a bowl on the side, which felt a bit... odd... I would've expected it to be incorporated into the main dish. It was kind of bland and a bit lukewarm, so I don't know that I'd order that again... but I would definitely order this again!

I ordered the chimichurri steak plate and really enjoyed it. Funnily enough, the chimichurri itself was the least enjoyable item. I didn't love the texture of it (much too coarse) but, fortunately, it was packaged in a small container separate instead of on the steak itself. The salad probably had a bit too much dressing but I had the option to order that on the side so that's on me. Nonetheless, the steak, potatoes, salad, corn, avocado were all excellent. I also added chips, a lemon zest cookie, and a blueberry breeze handcrafted drink. The cookie is big and chewy, unlike others I have had. It's definitely not something to eat in one sitting. The drink was a little blah and nothing I would order again. All in all, very good!

Ordering online is relatively easy and every time I've done it my salad(s) have been ready when I arrive. I like the variety of toppings and options they offer. I do wish I could switch out one type of protein for another without being charged (for example, I'd rather have grilled chicken on the Asian chicken salad over the breaded chicken) and I wish the salad dressings were slightly bolder, but overall the salads are tasty and fresh. The service has also been fantastic every time I've gone. Most recently, the online ordering platform was glitching a bit and I accidentally ordered two of the same salad instead of two different ones. I went to pick it up, and the employee did ask to confirm I wanted 2 of the exact same things. When we realized what happened, he made my husbands salad and let me keep both of mine. I offered to pay for his salad since it was my error, but they were gracious and let me take all 3 salads for the price of 2. I really appreciated how well the employee handled the situation - he could told me "too bad so sad" or grumbled when I asked to fix it, but he didn't. He solved the problem with a smile on his face. I'll definitely keep coming here. I love a good salad and the service makes it even better.
