Still a fantastic experience! We enjoyed it so much that we brought my in-laws for their 58th anniversary. They LOVED the duck!

The last time I had duck was in China, so I had/have high standards . I remember it being very moist and tasted like chicken. Here at duck and dumpling the star of the show is obviously their pecking duck (plate),and it was definitely noteworthy. It comes with all the fixings (sauces) steamed rice paper, cucumber, brown sugar and of course the duck sliced and crispy skin+ moist duck meat. I do have to mention that it comes with a complimentary duck soup with tofu and it was my least favorite out of my entire order!! It was my first time here and I was hungry but my eyes were hungrier! I also ordered the hot & sour pork dumplings, fried green beans, and pork belly dish. Again, the star of the show was the duck plate and the hot & sour pork dumplings were a close 2nd. Everything was great overall. Service was prompt and presentation of the duck plate was 10/10! Definitely recommend!

Finally got to stop by and try Duck & Dumpling and it did not disappoint! The kids loved their rice, Peking Duck, and dumplings. Service was great, food was delicious, and the place was beautifully decorated.

Heard a lot of good things about this place so naturally we had to try. We got the half duck and it was delicious but seemed small for half a duck IDK. The pork belly was my favorite and the green beans were tasty. The service is fantastic all the staff were super friendly. Eating here made me very comfortable as the ambiance was very chill and felt like a modern Asian restaurant with all the clean and fun decor.

1st bit of advise - this is located in the old taco cabana in near the HEBs curbside. If you blink you might miss it. 2nd bring some friends so you can all order tons of different things and share! The food was so fresh every thing came out as it was done and was so fresh and so flavorful! It's not too crowded and the fact you can see the ducks roasting as you sit and eat is always cool! Service was great and already planning our return visit to try the things we were too stuffed to get this time around. Definitely give it a try it's worth every penny

A casual spot with great flavors and a relaxed vibe. Our server stopped by often and provided friendly, attentive service without being overbearing. We ordered the Peking duck, crispy chicken, and a variety of handmade dumplings, and everything was flavorful and delicious. The Peking duck was definitely the star--perfectly moist meat with that crave-worthy crispy skin. The only downside was that the tables felt a bit too small to comfortably fit all the dishes, which made things a little cramped. Still, the food more than made up for it, and I'd happily come back to try more.

Went here on a Wednesday night for a double date night. They take walk ins only but arrive early enough and it shouldn't be a problem. My wife has been looking for a good soup dumpling place/xiaolongbao for the longest time since we moved here. This place did not disappoint! Being born and raised in Flushing Chinatown from NYC, this place felt like home from the ambiance to the multitude of different flavors in their in apps and entrees. My friends whom never had Peking Duck previously said it was the bomb diggity bomb. Of note, you can only order it with dining in. You can only get the half duck if you're a party of 3 or less but half should be more than enough. An added plus, this place is BYOB!

They serve authentic Chinese cuisine. Had this place bookmarked for the Peking duck. Restaurant was an old Taco Cabana, so it was pretty spacious. Here's what we ordered: Half Peking duck $31.95 (includes hoisin sauce, scallions, cucumbers, and spring pancake). Not sure if I've ever seen it served with sugar & honey mustard before, but that's what they had as well. I didn't try it. The duck skin was crispy and tasty, but my only complaint was that there was not enough duck meat. I joked that we got an anorexic duck. Some places use the remaining meat/bones to do a stir fry, but at Duck & Dumpling they made duck broth soup--which was decent as well. The soup consisted of the remaining bones/meat and cabbage. Braised beef noodle soup. $16.95 Handmade noodles. I loved the pickled greens. They provided plenty of meat, but also lots of fat/tendon. Broth was flavorful. Spicy and Sour Dumplings (pork & scallion) $12.95 - the dumplings were a little "hard" (thicker dumpling wrapper), but the meat was plentiful. Sauteed Bok Choy with Garlic $14.95 - good. Pork Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) $12.95 - comes with 6. Size of the dumplings were big ---and plenty of meat and juice. Probably my fav. dish this time. Overall, service was friendly. Would definitely come back and try other items or just whenever I crave Peking Duck and soup dumplings I know where to go.

I have been craving duck for a while now, this place popped up and I had to give it a shot. The duck was sooo flavorful and tender, the skin was roasted to perfection. We got some soup dumplings as well and they were very soupy inside. My kid ordered the spicy noodle soup and he was also hooked. This is definitely one to add to the rotation!

Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. This place was so good. The duck. The combo rice. The best teriyaki chicken I ever had. My sons loved their spicy beef noodle bowls. The brown sugar milk tea was so tasty. The service is a little slow but they are super nice. Clean inside. So good. Will definitely be back.

Duck & Dumpling is one of those places that reminds you why simple well executed food always wins. From the moment we walked in the place was buzzing with energy yet the wait was short and absolutely worth it. The staff was friendly efficient and clearly used to a full house. We started with the cheese puff rangoons which were crisp light and perfectly balanced. Not greasy just satisfying. The steamed bao buns deserve a special mention. They were incredibly fluffy with a soft pillowy texture and the pork filling was outstanding rich savory and comforting in the best way. The spicy chicken combination fried rice was packed with flavor and generous with ingredients. Every bite had texture heat and depth without going overboard. The steamed soup dumplings were a standout with delicate wrappers and a rich flavorful broth. The dumplings themselves were equally solid tender well seasoned and comforting. The green beans were glossy garlicky and addictive in that classic way where you keep reaching for one more. We did not order the duck this time but every table around us seemed to have it and it looked incredible which already sealed our plan to come back and try it next time. Every dish delivered and nothing felt like filler. Duck & Dumpling is doing the basics right and doing them consistently well. This is an easy return spot and one I would happily recommend without hesitation.

It was a good first experience. It was super busy but they were all working hard to get everyone seated. The service was okay. It was busy so it was understandable. The food was good. We had the Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup & the Spicy & Sour Pork. We will have to come back to try some more dishes.

Stopped in with a friend for lunch as we wanted to try something new and after hearing good things. We beat the lunch crowd as it started to get packed after we sat down. I look over the menu, which has allot of options, and decide to keep it simple and go full dumpling mode. I start off with the red bean sesame balls then order 3 different types of dumplings (curry chicken & potato / beef & onion / pork & scallion) and had one each steamed, grilled, and pan fried respectively. The red bean sesame balls were nice and fresh with a nice flavor profile coming from the red bean paste....very tasty. The dumplings come out next and they all look delish. Each of the different stuffings were well seasoned and savory. I prefer the pan fried style but the steamed and grilled were also nice options. Overall, I really liked my first time here and looking forward to trying the duck next time.

Real orange peel, too, which makes all the difference! We also ordered the Spicy Combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Carrots, peppers, bamboo in the dish provided a bit of veggie balance. Not our most favorite, but still very good. As per usual, we started with steamed dumplings and crab puffs; DH added a cup of egg drop soup- this place serves his favorite egg drop soup. Everything was delicious. I always ask for chili oil for that extra added kick! I do wish that the dishes labeled "spicy" were actually spicy. They really aren't spicy at all. I would definitely recommend ordering this with rice, or taking it home and making your own. The dumplings and spring rolls were crispy, but nothing special. I did like the duck sauce they had -- I would have asked my server for more of it, but she was busy in the back or something, not sure. I wish she would've checked in on me a bit more during the visit so I could have gotten more napkins and sauce. The service was alright.
