For me it was lacking. I'm a once in a blue moon donut kind of person but I heard rave reviews on duck donuts. So I decided to treat my kids to donuts because most kids don't turn down donuts. It's super cute inside and there was only one other couple inside. I really didn't know much besides you can do customs. We were in there probably 3 minutes when the guy came up to the girl at the register and asked if we had ordered yet and she said no. (Literally I had never been in there I have no clue what I'm doing give me at least 5 before getting impatient because no one else was in the store. ) while I was ordering a frappe my son was talking to the guy while he was designing donuts. He seemed super irritated that my 5 year old wouldn't stop talking because he was so excited watching him make his custom donut. It wasn't until I told him it was our first time being in here that he seemed to be a little nicer and lighten up. The girl making my frappe has no clue what she was doing. After the guy made my donuts he said to the girl you have never made a frappe and she said no. He proceeded to just watch her while he drank his drink. The frappe was not good. It was like a slushy and once I drank a good bit it was just ice. The look was pretty though. I had also signed up for the rewards program and asked the girl if I could give her my number and she said yeah but never took it. I'm not sure how it works but I know the machine didn't know me without any information. For me I picked the chocolate covered strawberry it was okay. It wasn't packed with flavor and missed the mark. I also ordered a beach? One with coconut. I couldn't taste any coconut. It was very sad. My kids both loved theirs but they love anything sweet. Maybe it was just this day that missed the mark but for me I can't say I would go back at least not to this location. I was really hoping for a better experience. So, what's amazing? The donuts. The service. They feature different types of cake donuts, but you can add any toppings you want. They have so many toppings and it's really cool. The donuts are very fresh and delicious. Right now they're featuring Reese's. And it's absolutely phenomenal. I think this is the best donut place around. For me, it beats Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts. Especially, the service here is phenomenal and sets it apart. The cashier was super friendly and attentive. Even though the line was long, we didn't feel rushed when ordering. I ordered a vanilla latte and my boyfriend ordered a caramel mocha frappe. We ordered four donuts--a maple bacon, strawberry cheesecake, cookies and cream and I forget what the fourth one was called. The donuts were warm and delicious. My favorite was the maple bacon. This was our first visit and our reaction was "Meh." First of all, it was quite crowded when we arrived and the line to build our order at the one and only DIY kiosk was long. One couple seemed to have difficulty deciding what they wanted and hogged the kiosk for over five minutes. The rest of us just had to stand and wait. So, after about 15 minutes, our order was finally in the system. Then, it took another 10+ minutes for the 6 donuts to be "built" and delivered. So, it was almost half an hour to get 6 donuts. We found the donuts not to be that exceptional either. Yes, ordering custom donuts is somewhat of a unique concept and experience, and worth doing once, but we won't be going back. 6 donuts for $16 and half an hour of my time is not worth it. read more

Enter and go straight ahead to order. The people standing on the sides are waiting. So warm. So fresh. But its all hand made to order so prepare for a 15 min wait (give or take depending how busy). You can order online though and they will have them ready for pickup so you don't have to wait. It's worth it though. The donut makers do a great job of having your order correct and doing it all by hand donut after donut probably isnt easy on the wrists so I really appreciate them. Best donuts I've had in a long time! I'm not just saying that because I've been quarantined. No no these donuts are the softest and tastiest donuts I've ever had. Tried the maple bacon, blueberry pancake, and sunrise lemon icing. All of them were fantastic. I am bias because I love bacon...but still! You can choose from a variety of combinations or have them randomize it. Or you can pick each one and customize it down to the topping and drizzle. I tried to do it online but for some reason it didn't work. But still it was fun to just see what you could try out. The workers there were nice. Yay for DD in the upstate (replacing Dunkin Donuts because they are seriously that good) !! Per word of mouth, this shop opened in June and it is always slammed in the mornings... be sure to get there early so you don't have to wait in line (& if ya do it's worth it) We went on Valentine's Day, so of course the dozen option was necessary. ***PSA all donuts are vanilla cake based*** My favorites: - Beach (vanilla icing with cinnamon sugar)... tastes like a brown sugar cinnamon pop tart. So I've heard of how great this place was from a lot of my friends so I had to try it out. They're in a a lot of other major cities but we finally got one here in Greenville, SC. We went in and ordered a half dozen for around $10 and once you place your order they begin adding the toppings to the fresh warm donuts and you can watch them work their magic. Single donuts are $1.85 I think. I'm going to list the 6 donuts we got going from favorite to least favorite even though we enjoyed them all and demolished them within minutes. 1. S'mores- chocolate icing with graham cracker crumbs and marshmallow drizzle 2. Boardwalk- glazed with Oreo crumbles, powdered sugar and vanilla drizzle 3. Sunrise- lemon icing with raspberry drizzle 4. Cinnamon sugar with vanilla drizzle 5. Chocolate icing with peanuts 6. Beach ball- vanilla icing with rainbow sprinkles and chocolate drizzle.
