Made-to-order donuts that are warm and fluffy. This place is dangerously good. My personal favorite is the peanut butter glaze with Oreos and a hot fudge drizzle. They blueberry pancake recipe that's on the pictures by the register is really great, too. It's worth the wait. read more

UPDATE: we went to the duck donuts in Jacksonville. We went to the chick fil a about a mile away. We went on November 14th.

As a reminder - your managers are paid to manage the staff of your restaurant. Not the general public!!! Members of staff are verbally combative and rude. I chose not to spend my money here due to this fact and will not be returning until proper training in guest service is rectified. read more

Not as good as thought. Tried couple of times to attributes to service. The Good Donut Shoppe for homemade apple fritters and the Mini Bar is great for creative creations and less expensive for what you get. Curbsude doesnt really mean curbside because phone goes to messenger at all times. read more

Ordered online and called to see if they could prepare it sooner than quoted online. They were pretty accommodating with my request even with them having several customers there in the middle of the day. WHOAH! AmaZING! First off the customer service was above and beyond ! Shout out to the dude at the registers who wears glasses ... he was ridiculously patient ! The manager lady with brown hair ridiculously patient ! I had a huge order of about 50 plus Assorted donuts . They made them in less than 20 minutes AND ! Let me tell you, Duck Donuts was actually exceptional. Excellent service, nice atmosphere. The staff advised us that we really should try their Maple Bacon, and they were right, it was truly excellent. They are very clean and the staff were super polite. I had a positive previous experience, NOT THIS TIME. First, I went to place my order and the associate cut me off mid sentence, "sounds good". I then asked if needed to know the flavor of donuts which he did. Second, Lisa (I assume the manager), questioned my preference of donuts with an arrogant, condensing tone and facial expression. "I'm just saying I've never heard of that". That's why it's a personal preference. The customer service today was downright AWFUL. If today isn't a good day, close up early. read more

The staff is a hit or miss on friendliness. Instead of asking 'how can I help you?' They make eye contact and continue whatever they were doing. I stood at the pick up counter for about 5 minutes and watched one girl on her phone, another girl actually working at the register and the other ones kept looking around. The girl on her phone was annoyed when I had to get her attention so I could pick up my order. To the girl on her phone- customer service is not hard. read more

I drove to Duck Donuts for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. He spoke of the Holy Grail of the donut world, untouchable by any other chain. Every time donuts were mentioned in conversation, he had to make reference to his pinnacle of the donut world. At first, I was reluctant to try them as their nearest location was far away, but I finally gave into my curiosity and drove out one uneventful afternoon. Entering Duck Donuts, the first thing noticeable is the smell. A cakey, sugary smell forces itself into your nostrils and creates a craving for donuts you did not even realize you had. After this olfactory assault, my eyes fixated on a strange contraption in the center of the store. One by one, perfect rings of cake dough are pinched out of a funnel, rolled down a conveyer belt, and emptied into a fryer. The diverse flavors were unique and tantalizing, including French Toast, Beach Ball, and my personal favorite, Bacon in the Sun. I can only eat about three donuts, but I couldn't help ordering a dozen. After taking my order, the employee walked to the machine, placed a ball of dough into the funnel, and I watched as twelve beautiful rings were formed and fried specifically for me. Immediately after they were fried, the donuts were rolled and hand-dipped into an incredible assortment of icings and toppings. By the time I finally received my dozen, my mouth was watering with anticipation. And when I bit into my first donut, all of my friend's praise for Duck Donuts made sense. In fact, I feel he understated just how good these donuts are. He didn't tell us about the warmness, or how the donuts melt in your mouth. He failed to describe how moist they are, and how sweet the toppings are. To this day, Duck Donuts are the best donuts I have ever had, completely satisfying in taste, texture, and visual appeal. I brought the rest of the dozen home to my family, and thanks to microwaving instructions on the side of the box, they were almost able to enjoy the donuts just as I had at the store. And they were hooked. So hooked, in fact, that whenever I made the journey, my parents would ask me to bring home an extra dozen just for them and my brothers. Unfortunately, there is one downside to this heaven named Duck Donuts - you can never settle for any other donut. They all seem inferior. So when I want a donut, I no longer settle for the standard fare. Instead, I wait until the craving motivates me to drive to Duck Donuts, and I enjoy the whole experience (including eating two or three on the car ride home). Medically I can not wear a mask. I understand there's a covid crisis but when you discriminate because medically I can not wear a mask for my own personal health and there's no one in your store that's just wrong. I came to try their food and I can honestly say I will not be back. Half the staff didn't even have a mask on until I walked in and some were even on their phones. The place is clean ( recently opened), employees ....too busy to be friendly. The donuts are great especially Coconut Key Lime. Weekends appear to be extra busy with long long waiting lines. I think the duck sundays are a great offering. After ordering three I was asked to wait outside. When they were brought to me they were presented in open cups. When I informed the employee they were togo, I was told they don't have coverings. When I questioned this practice I was encouraged to eat them there. I hope the company adjust their practice to allow for togo Sundays. Especially after asking us to wait outside for our order. read more

The experience was ridiculous! The staff (all 9 of them) were like zombies and moved at the same speed. It took right at an hour to get our order, from start to finish. You can't call in OR order online, that supposedly happens in a couple of weeks. So everything happens when you walk in and from there it's a huge bottleneck. I'm sorry but if your new business isn't ready to serve its customers at full speed don't open the doors until you're ready. Otherwise I'd give the donuts 4-1/2 stars.
