If you want to waste $30 on a basic car wash because you have money to burn then by all means this is your place LOL I wouldn't recommend this place if you need a basic car wash. Here are my reasons: First off it's Hella slow. Secondly, they just spray the car and send it through the wash and dry it by hand. They said they would do the tires but after I tipped they never did. They just hang around waiting for a tip and when you tip they seem to go to the next car. Third, the wash is like a basic car wash but with an hour wait because some are getting their car detailed and some aren't. For basic washes they should really have a separate line so that things go faster. Not sure what the detailing would be like since I didn't get that, but the car wash didn't get the bird poop off my car windows and the top of my car. I gave a $5 tip since they dried my car with some wash cloths by hand, but yeah, you won't catch me coming back here. read more

They looked all over my car and their shop but we could not find it. My car wash was super disappointing! I had to go back to get it vaccuumed because my car initially wasn't clean. The exterior was cleaned okay but I was bummed that I spent $40 on a wash and they didn't really do a good job cleaning it. There were some dirty spots inside. I usually go to the car wash from the gas station and it cleans equally the same on the outside. Was not that thrilled with how the interior was cleaned the first time around that I had to ask to get it cleaned again. Staff were nice though and were willing to fix it. read more

I really liked Ducky's and and the customer service from Mila is always great! She always has a smile on her face. I usually pick between Ducky's and Classic car wash. When I went to get my car washed at Dicky's yesterday, I was shocked at how run downed it looked. The paint is coming off the building and the building looks terrible. This is a business that has been here for a long time and has increased their prices substantially. I don't mind paying for the service, but I would rather go to Classic car wash where aesthetically it's very inviting. Ducky's needs paint. Hopefully they will see this and consider doing this to make their business more inviting and make the neighborhood look nicer. read more

Unfortunately I bought a package so I'm using it up but every time I go, they never wipe the dash down completely or the gear shift area. They had a special yesterday to add a detail for $50 more on top of my package and the leather conditioner was applied incredibly sloppy. I am attaching photos of what the condition was after I paid for a detail! Dust again!! AND that's with a "detail" package where they are suppose to clean the dust and vents. The other picture is too much conditioner left over. This place is not cheap in price but certainly a cheap and mediocre cleaning at best. read more

I have a membership at another duckies and I was not in the system, but he was able to lift me up and allow me to get a free car wash with my rental that was in place of my truck. Pathetic. Never taking my car to Ducky's again. When I was a kid, this place was so much better, it was like going to Disneyland. This dump went so far downhill that the only similarity is that they are both overpriced places to flush money down the toilet. Look at this goofy mofo fake cleaning my car. There was still crumbs all over the passenger seat and it was advertised that they vaccuum the interior for $45 the Moby duck wash. I shouldn't have to waste my time and clean up after they fake clean like I literally had to get a vacuum and clean up after their mess they they're the ones that made the mess so this place is horrible. If I could give this less than 1 I would. I took my car for a wash and they broke a piece in the inside. I filed an incident report and got estimate from BMW for $278. The owner and manager were CHEAP and asked we take it to their body shop since labor was cheaper. The autobody broke it even more. I got new estimate from BMW and the entire windshield now has to be replaced and it is $3800. Duckys refuses to pay for the damage. They tried to save $100 bucks and now it will cost them far far greater, DO NOT SUPPORT CORRUPT business like this who do not take accountability. Terrible experience and service. The character of a business come from moments like these. The cost to fix at BMW was $278, less than the cost of one detail service. Do better Ducky's and see you in court. read more

Do NOT come here. These photos are from after the wash -- my car is still dirty everywhere. It doesn't even look like they touched the trunk or the front of the car with a vacuum. We had a few party trays of food spill in our car. We paid for a DEEP clean. Over $130+. They said they will shampoo the carpet/floors and seats. They did not do the floors. Our trunk was not touched/vacuumed. A lot of missed spots including having to throw out trash under seats that they left. Smell of food spilled still in the car. Took it to a different car wash and they did a great job! I did not end up tipping as I tried to show them how dirty it still is after paying $130+. Save money not worth it! read more

Ducky's is probably the best car wash operation in the Bay Area. I haven't found a better one. The Good: Service is professional and thorough. They have an organized, assembly line process and the results are consistent. The Bad: They told us 2.5 hours for a deep cleaning that took over four hours. To be fair, they probably were not expecting the level of dog hair that we subjected them to. :-) The Quirky: They have a weird little gift shop for you to browse while you wait. Visited for interior exterior wash of my 1 yr old Ford truck.. I was upsold into a wax too. Clerk stated it's a one hr wait. I say ok. He leaves to ring up the sale. He comes back and says we can do clay bar too for another $100.. I say "you sure?" He said yes. So that's a wash, interior cleaning, clay bar and wax in 1 hour. I agree. Get a call exactly 1 hr later as car was done.... On arrival everything was shining. Even the tires.. except one tire still had mud on it. It was obvious the tech applied tire dressing over the mud! Lol. Then noticed only the front floor mats were cleaned. Requested them to be cleaned. Ok. So I tipped the tech $5 and leave. Get home to load the truck bed with golf clubs and bed is dirty. Even had a piece of tree bark in the back that I knew had been there prior to the wash! What was new was muddy foot prints... That didn't bother me as much as the lack of attention to detail. For $200 I expected more. If they intentionally didn't wash the rear floor mats, and missed the mud on the tire did they actually do the wax and clay bar? Remember I left the car wash and came back.. I'm very skeptical... Don't think I'll be coming back to this place. Maybe if in spoke Spanish I would have had a better experience. I feel like I got taken advantage of. I used to be a loyal ducky's car wash customer. Years ago. For $30 you could get a quality wash vacuum and hand wax in an hour. Then as time passed. Their prices went up and their quality went down. I stopped going for a long time because I caught them THREE TIMES IN A ROW charging me for a hand wax , parking my car and leaving it untouched and unattended. Then saying. "Oh we did it! It's done!" All 3 times I confronted them. They tried to deny it and ultimately after showing literal cell phone video. They'd apologize and offer a refund. Anyways I eventually wised up and stoped going. There are TONS of coin op. car washes where you can half ass a car wash yourself for $6 instead of $30-50 for the same poor service. Well I had my wife with me today. We were busy and the car was pretty manky. It had little bird poo speckled all over it. And it's hot. I was busy and feeling lazy. So I said to my wife. "Let's try them!" I paid $50 for the "Moby Duck" car wash. Basically the most expensive car wash they offer. After 38 minutes. They pulled my car out of the machine. And a guy and gal ran a rag over it. Someone smeared goo all over the wheels and tires and they said "done!" Now I'd opened my trunk and asked that it be vacuumed. It wasn't. The car was still covered in poo speckles. The floor mats were sopping wet to but not clean and the windows were streaky. When I pointed all this out. The poor girl didn't seem to know why I was unsatisfied with my FIFTY DOLLAR CAR WASH. So she got a manager who told me. "Oh if you wanted it clean you shoulda paid for $100 retail. I tell you what. $40 more and I'll get it clean." Wtf ?? Literally. wtf ?!' A FIFTY DOLLAR CAR WASH ISN'T ENOUGH TO EXPECT A ....... Clean car ? Long story short. I went home. Used a bucket a rag and soap and an old towel and shop vac. And I cleaned my own damned car for free after paying so called "professionals " FIFTY DOLLARS to "wash it ". "Moby Duck"? More like "HA HA!! SUCKER!!" Save yourself the hassle. Go to autozone and buy all the car wash stuff to do it yourself for $30 and end up with a clean car. Not some wet it down and take your money hack job. Better off parking it in the rain. read more

I took my car to ducky's in San Mateo and paid for a duckies deluxe car wash. The inside of the windshield hadn't been cleaned nor the driver side passenger window on the inside. The door panel on the driver side was all dirty and there was still a lot of dirt on the floors where the vacuum didn't pick it all up. I've been going to duckies for many many years, but I don't think I'll be going back because lately it seems that the quality of their car wash has really gone down. read more
