Just bought my first house and began the process of moving in over Memorial Day weekend. Sunday…read moremorning I get to the house, no hot water (we have a coil system). I fire up the heating zones... no heat. I go down to the burner, not a sound. I hit the red "ignition" button, and I hear a sound for 15 seconds and then nothing. I'm thinking about how wonderful this is considering we're just moving in. I then get a recommendation to call Glenn at Freedom Oil. Glenn, ever the gentleman, went through a checklist of things to do before they would have to come and charge for a service call. This is very courteous considering I have not done business with them before and he was taking his time on a Sunday morning of a holiday weekend to try and save me money. Ultimately I needed a service call. Nelson came over right in the timeframe predicted by Glenn. Really friendly guy, Nelson came and got right to work. I told him not to mind if I hovered since I just bought this place and would like to get a feel for how this burner works/is set up. Nelson diagnosed the problem within minutes and had everything up and running in no time. He then spent another 40 minutes or so answering questions and going out of his way to show me the different components and explaining how they all worked. I was so thankful for that. Overall, Freedom's customer service is top notch. They came right over the Sunday Morning of Memorial Day weekend, fixed the problem, and did so with trying to keep my costs to a minimum. I look forward to doing business with Glenn and Nelson in the future.

Their service ethics are above and beyond what anyone could imagine. Like immediately saving my life ( not really my life ) but my house before my pipes froze...what could have been monumentally catastrophic... they found the time in their very busy day (when the temps were way below zero) they came to help me!!! I understand that this is a very busy season but not a call or email for just an appointment is not good. I do not understand why some companies even offer the option to fill in for a request on their web site. I filled out three other requests and with a day they provided me with an appointment. It's a shame because I liked the puppy sitting with the owner! Update on 07/1 I called again and this time I spoke with Christian who set up an appointment for 7/03 between 1-3pm.
