I am All's oil client for 26 years now for both, my home and business. In that time they have never failed me.AC they installed 25 years ago is working perfectly up to this day with no problem. My old oil heating system was was malfunctioning frequently,All's oil Service was available instantly in the middle of the night on many occasions.Thanks to real , effective All's oil service contract. I'm writing this for my mom for is 96 tears old ...she received HEAP money from the state and only receives social security. She has been using this company for a long time. Al's received the funds and delivered oil at $4.99 a gallon!! That is outrageous, I called a few oil companies and they charge $2.99 a gallon. I also called Al's anonymously and they gave me a price of $2.99. I called them and there is nothing they can do, that's the price. They are price gouging and I will be reporting them. I have been with Al's Oil since Sandy 2013 when they replaced my heating system. This summer my Central Air went and I happened to call them and ask if they also removed the old unit and replaced it with a new HVAC unit. The team came and completely did the best job I could ask for. They were professional, respectful and clean. I also buy my oil from them and get the heating system serviced every year. I hope I get your attention I've been a customer of Al's oil for 10 years or so I was an oil customer and they converted me over to natural gas in 2016. Hands down immaculate perfect set up by James and Mike couldn't have asked for a better team. Let me get to my point I was in a panic mode on a Saturday trying to find a part that I needed for my system while I was in the middle of cleaning it out and of course by the time I figured out I needed the part all plumbing supply places were closed. I then realized hey James and Mike!!! Installation of new oil boiler - nicely done from start to finish. I contacted 10 different companies for estimates. James the owner was one of the few that actually came as promised to look at what needed to be done and to give estimate. He followed-up with a call a few days later to see if I had any questions. I told him that I was still reviewing all bids. I got a total of 4 of the 10 companies that gave me bids and his was the cheapest by a lot. I called and setup appointment. He had 4 techs that came on time and ready to install the new boiler. All were, clean, polite and very professional. It took about 4 hours and they did not leave until they saw that the heat and hot water was all working fine. They explained to me how to check the boiler and said that I had a one year warranty, and that I should not hesitate to call with any issues. They cleaned the area nicely. Don't know who could have given this business even one star. Contracted to remove old oil burner in crawlspace. Never had an odor as there was a gas conversion over 40 years ago. When they left house was uninhabitable. Spill they caused left horrific odor and we were told it was our fault because tank was "leaking". Gave us analogy of having an "old mattress" covering the cause. Left us with some kitty litter to absorb odor and told us to paint floor with epoxy paint. Called to ask for help and all we got was an oil spill complaint number that he filed with the NY State DEC. read more

SCAM. I recently rented an apartment and am responsible for the oil. My landlord uses Al's oil. I went to the office and paid for $300 of oil in cash and was given a receipt for the cash. They delivered the oil 2 days later and only gave me $200 worth of fuel claiming that one of the $100 dollar bills was counterfeit. They claimed this AFTER I was given a receipt days AFTER I left the office. They never checked the bills in my presence and then claimed it was a fake. The people in the office were extremely unprofessional and I explained that since they didn't prove the money was a fake in my presence they could not claim it to be fake now...then he said that he was calling the police on ME. I asked him to please do that and that I would be there to discuss their attempt to scam me. In the end, they returned my money. I cannot express enough how terrible these people are. They attempted to take advantage of a woman they knew to be under severe stress and steal money from her. They may be good at delivering fuel and maintaining a burner but they are not good people. read more

AVOID Al's Oil in Amityville! I scheduled burner tune up on Dec 8, 2018. Burner was running fine, I just got cleaning. Service goes smooth until morning after. MY BURNER shuts down- I hit RESET and it runs. For next seven days I hit reset everyday. I call AL's Oil and how my burner now shuts down non stop since they showed up. I get the usual "homeowner is an idiot response." I'm told it will cost $90 for them to return. I figure to avoid Al's bc something felt scumbaggish about Mark. So, I reset burner daily for next few weeks, hoping something will change, but it doesn't. Finally, I call different Burner Company, and tech comes to "repair" burner. I'm hoping repair is under $500, I'm praying. Richard's H & C Tech: installs " New Nozzle, Clean and Adjusts electrodes, Adjust Air Intake and Correct setting: Test Fire and Chx Flame." Tech says the old (New from Al's) nozzle had a smudge on it. Burner does need resetting. NOTICE that the service done by Richards H&C sounds like a TUNE UP!
