I called to schedule an appointment, which the call center answered then took a message for a call back from a company agent. The company did call me back to schedule an appointment however they missed the appointment "No Show". The excuse later given was my appointment was scheduled incorrectly. I then made a second appointment which the company then did a "No Show" again. The reason given to me was the technician was busy at another appointment. Long story short- I went with a different company after two failed attempts.

He said my warranty claim was APPROVED, but when I contacted the manufacturer weeks later about the delay, they said no claim form was sent in to start the process. I confronted Jon, and he answered that I should easily BE approved, because he's seen this before (completely avoiding accountability for having lied). Since then, I have caught him in more lies. I also contacted the manufacturer and the supplier to get copies of documents Jon sent me, bc he NEVER sends original copies--just photos. WHY?? Bc he only snaps the content UNDER the date, to avoid detection that he has been lying and hasn't acted for WEEKS. I asked Jon to send the additional photos of the boiler to the manufacturer, so they can determine if the problem is a product defect (standard practice). He lied, saying his employee was out sick for days so he couldn't obtain the photos (that was 2 wks ago. To this day, he hasn't sent them all). Since then, I have found out that Jon also lied when he told me the manufacturer was closed Xmas week (only 2 days), and that he sat on that claim form since NOVEMBER and could have sent it in then to get the ball rolling (or even early Dec). Also, he dealt with a supplier to SHIP the new boiler instead of trying to find it in stock (which my new plumber did, to save time and an extra $300 for me in freight costs). Jon just lies and lies. Even the people he works with are hesitant to answer questions--they don't know what lie John has told the customer. Suggestion: I would RUN away from this company. Either the owner is money-hungry and accepts too many jobs he can't handle, or he is just incompetent. I know for a fact that he is certainly untrustworthy, and I wasted a lot of time on him.

If he missed your call, he got back to you same day. Affordable and reasonable service fee. He also was great at identifying and fixing the fault. After requesting quotes on Yelp, I got a slew of phone calls from different companies asking if I wanted to make an appointment for an estimate. At 8pm, Nick called and instead of pitching himself to do the repair, he gave us some suggestions as to what the problem could be and how to fix it. Following Nick's suggestion, we made a quick trip to Home Depot, bought the $40 piece, replaced the broken piece. The fix took less than ten minutes and just as Nick had said, the furnace was working again! Never, in my 29 years of home ownership, has a service person ever turned down an opportunity for a job that probably would've cost several hundred dollars (not including the initial diagnostic fee)!! Nick showed himself to be a stand-up guy who wasn't just looking to make a buck off me. And if in the future, I have any other HVAC needs, Nick will be the first person I call. I only wish I could give him more than 5 stars.
