Food overall was just ok. We had Buffalo Burrata & Parma Prosciutto, Spicy Ahi-Tuna Tartare, Avo-Coco Shrimp, and beef and pork empanadas. The burrata and ahi-tuna were pretty good. Probably the best of what we ate. The shrimp was pretty bland. The empanadas were just ok. They actually gave us two pork empanadas. When we pointed out that it was supposed to be one beef and one pork, they barely acknowledged their mistake. The empanadas came with a tomato sauce that basically tasted like jarred tomato sauce. Their website says, "we have outdoor dining (weather permitting) six feet apart." Even if you're going by table to table, it'd be a stretch to say it's six feet apart. If you count the fact that people actually sit at the table, then you're less than three feet from your neighbor. It also says, "DUE 360 staff will be wearing face masks at all times." This is a flat out lie. Barely any staff were wearing masks. Out of seven staff members that I saw, only one wore a mask. They also charge an extra 3.5% for credit cards, if that matters to you. This was an anniversary dinner, so this was pretty disappointing. read more

Cute spot! We were sat right away, had great service and really tasty tapas. We ordered a bottle of wine which was fairly priced and paired nicely with our tapas order. Our servers were very friendly and the food came out quickly. We will definitely return as we enjoyed this spot very much so! Great service and food but the restaurant charged us 3% on top of final bill for paying with credit card (no extra charge if you pay with cash). We were NOT informed of this until we finished food and got the check. I think customers have rights to know this thing before we sit down and order. Not worth the money! This place fell way below my expectations! I went there with my girlfriend and we started with the Choripan appetizer. It was very tasty, but the dish description read toast points. Instead, We got a single slice of focaccia bread. I ordered the 3 Meat Ragú. It was too salty and the pasta was over cooked (tagliatelle). My girlfriend had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo; and it was also over cooked. These were small portions (about 1.5 cups each); and with each priced at $16, they were truly an overpriced disappointment. The best thing was the wine! We had the Villa Milagro wine, Noche 2014. Excellent wine, but It was over-priced! The place was empty when we arrived and in spite of that, the service was VERY SLOW! I won't be paying them a visit again. read more

Summit's best-kept secret! I am generally skeptical of fusion cuisine, but Chef Mondo's Argentine-Italian tapas concept just works because of his vision, skill, and the powerful flavors that each individual dish packs. We were warmly welcomed by our server Ben and delicious homemade foccaccia upon arrival. My dining companions and I are all oenophiles who are also very culinarily inclined so we a) had brought a selection of wines to pair with the chef's offerings, and b) decided to order an array of dishes to experience as much of the menu as possible. We started with a dozen oysters, polpo ala plancha, and fried eggplant drizzled with honey, the latter of which was a special. The oysters were all fresh, some with a punch of salt and some nice and briny. The polpo ala plancha was thinly sliced on a bed of fennel and roasted fingerling potatoes with a romesco sauce. These flavors blended together beautifully. However, the real star of this course was the eggplant. Who knew such a simple dish - fried eggplant and honey - could be so delicious? Eggplant often comes too dry or too oily, but this one had the perfect amount of subtle moisture to stand up to the lightly fried exterior. The drizzle of honey and sprinkling of chives elevated this deceptively simple dish to something truly memorable. I was close to ordering another one, but we still had more we wanted to sample! Our next course included the homemade lemon gnocchi, because we wanted to try one of the pastas and we had never had lemon-ricotta gnocchi before, the shrimp ala ajillo, which seems to be their signature dish, and the short rib empanada. The gnocchi were beautiful and in a simple but flavorful tomato sauce, just like in Italy rather than in Italian-American restaurants. The shrimp ala ajillo receive so many excellent reviews for a reason; they are perfectly seasoned and a delight for the palette as flavors of garlic, lemon, and chilli mingle with a luscious white bean puree with whole white beans mixed in for added texture. Additionally, we loved the short rib empanada because of the thin, lightly-fried pastry and intense, rich, meaty filling. The empanada came with different sauces, including a delectable chimichurri. Conclusion: visit Due 360 if you love food with flavor in a cozy, warm ambiance. I recommend bringing good, medium to medium-plus, complex red wines that can stand up to the flavors in the food as well as dining with people who like to try different dishes and actually share their tapas. I really wish I could like this restaurant because it has so much potential but it fell short in delivering a satisfactory dinner this evening. My boyfriend & I went here for dinner and thankfully didn't have to wait for a table too long but we were seated in this weird extension of the restaurant where the tables had metal folding chairs and remnants of Christmas decorations. We didn't appear to have a waiter and one of the two waiters serving our area of the restaurant came up to us and asked "has anyone taken your order yet?" Okay, no introduction and he didn't even come up to the table once to check up on us after we got our food or at any point during our meal. Did the manager not assign sections of the restaurant for the waiters to serve? We felt forgotten for most of our dining experience there and I'm pretty sure the woman filling our waters visited us more than our (absence of a) waiter. We ordered 3 tapas dishes and a "big plate" dish to share. We ordered: the meatballs, papas bravas, 3 empanadas(chicken, beef, short rib), and the lemon herbed chicken large plate. The tapas exceeded expectations: the meatballs were delicious, the papas bravas were good and the sauce was spicy, empanadas had a good crust but lacked appropriate spices and flavor. The lemon herbed chicken never arrived since the waiter thought we ordered a gnocchi dish. We told the waiter that's not what we ordered, they brought it back to the kitchen and brought out another gnocchi dish. At this point, we didn't even bother asking for our proper chicken dish since we were done eating our meal. Eh, the waiter apologized but at least could've taken off the dish from the check as we didn't even order gnocchi to begin with. read more

I had the Argentinian Hanger Steak that was absolutely amazing. Although, I developed a gluten allergy later in life, the cook repaired to perfection. My reservation was at 6pm but they did not take my order until 7pm ... but that was no fault of there own. Organic tomato soup was DIVINE!! Was waiting at the train station & got a hankering for some soup. Thank you yelpers for recommending this restaurant. Even though I just did take out I need to send a special shoutout for the incredible service from Gabbe!!!! YAY!!! First of all he answered the phone with such friendliness and professionalism and helpfulness. He enthusiastically shared about the soup options (which were several!!) & I was intrigued by the organic tomato soup. Service was so quick - and I was in a rush to catch my train so this was a bonus! when I asked if there were any bread or crackers he happily went back to the kitchen and brought out not just normal bread but a trio of delicious special bread. Wow!!! This coupled with the soup was just absolutely divine!! This soup was not a run of the mill organic tomato soup it was chock full of herbs and other veggies. Ok let's be brief and to the point. This place is everything a restaurant should be. Good service, nice background music , a menu with choices for everyone's tastes and GREAT FOOD. The chef obviously knows what works together and should be given 6 stars. I've eaten here about 10 times in the past 6 months and am thinking it should have been more! Our server was great. Super nice, made great suggestions and flirted with our little guy. We ordered a few different plates...one was better than the other. Roasted Vegetable Salad, Zuppa Toscana (hearty potato, bean and kale), Choripan (mild spicy chorizo, fingerling, bean puree, chimmichuri crema, toast points, chive oil), Papas Bravas (roasted fingerling, spicy cream sauce topped with soft fresh farm egg & olive gelee), Empanadas Sliders (chicken confit - vegetable - cubano (roasted pork, ham/swiss /pickles)... Since it's tapas, serving sizes are for sampling BUT their prices were a bit high. At the time they did not have a liquor license but had one pending. Owner/chef came out to greet us. The fact that all the servers wear fedoras should have been my first clue were in for some overpriced pretension. Can someone explain to me why I paid $18 for two slices of prosciutto and some olives? In all, we spent $50 on on three dishes and then went to the Village Trattoria on the next block for some pizza so at least we wouldn't go home hungry. I used to work in Summit (in another lifetime) and I know there are many good restaurants here in town, although I did notice some of the ones I knew were no longer there. But, such is life. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Due 360 and look forward to returning. LivingSocial has made that a bit easier by affording me a 10% coupon for Due360 after we enjoyed our meal. We started out with a couple of appetizers. My wife had the crispy oysters, which were excellent. (She let me have a bite) I opted for the chiopan, which too was excellent. (Chorizo sausage with fingerling potatoes, bean puree, chimmichuri crema, toast points, chive oil.) SOOO good! Now this is a tapas style restaurant, so no massive portions, but what you do get is excellent, served hot and presented nicely. I had the hanger steak tacos (3 of them) served on your choice of tortillas with salsa, lettuce, onion and dressing. My wife had their cioppino which is a seafood stew. Lots of seafood in a light tomato sauce, although it's more like a soup. The seafood was excellent and very fresh. The wife loved it. (as did I when she fed me a spoonful.) For dessert... my wife wanted to experience the "whole experience" of the restaurant... whatever that is, so she opted for the cannoli and a decaf cappuccino. Normally I would either share a dessert or order my own, but 1... I don't like cannolis... at all. Yuck. I don't see what the fascination is with them. 2... I didn't feel like dessert and since this is a tapas style restaurant, I was still a bit hungry, so I opted for the linguine with clams. Just a small portion and soooo good. The clams were so fresh and tender... best I've ever had. The service was very good and attentive and it's a BYOB, although if you forget the wine, they do offer a selection of New Jersey wine. read more

A lot of the stuff here just tasted weird in a bad way to me. The girl I was with said she didn't think the seafood was fresh. Essentially, the ambiance is great, and the servers are nice, but whomever was cooking on Saturday April 11th didn't do a very good job. I can't believe I spent $70 here. My suggestion is to spend your money somewhere else. As for more elaboration, the pasta my date got was bland in our opinion. The octopus was stale almost. They burned it the first time They were nice enough to give us new octopus but it didn't come out that great still (I give two stars and not one because the staff is nice...it's the kitchen that's ruining it for me). And I have eaten many scallops, but I didn't like the ones in my seafood stew. Overall a great experience for lunch during the week. I have only been to a handful of tapas places and some range from expensive choices that when served at the table truly look only like a tasting to more fairly prices items that are at least able to be share tasted with one or two others. Then comes this place, for at least me and lunch, did not really seem to fit into the tapas range at all. A caesar salad with short rib tacos. Both were great and certainly constituted a full meal for lunch. I did get to taste a shrimp from someone else who order shrimp ajillo which was pretty awesome as well. read more

I don't know what it is about Summit that people keep opening these mediocre restaurants that keep shutting down. We ordered empanadas and they were fries in puff pastry with about a tablespoon of filler in them, right in the middle. Then my friend got gnocchi and I got a pasta w ragu. The gnocchi was good but it was no where near worth the price on the menu. It was a total bust. My pasta came in a bowl the size of a large pizza and in the middle was a portion about 6 fork fulls. Comfortable seating good for a date, entertaining visitors, or just good company. Very attentive service team (never had to ask for a refill on water or beverages, we were always offered). "Complimentary bread" was some of the best focaccia ever. Menu was built of Argentine and Italian-style plates. Someone once told me a good restaurant should be one where the menu is a guideline as the kitchen should be able to say, "yes, we can make that" (within reason, of course). This is kinda what happened because only one at the table ordered directly off the menu. Really well done). +Course 1 - Meatballs (4)/Potato Croquette (4) The sauce on those meatballs is among the best I've had in a long time. They could've been a bit hotter, but the flavor made up for it. Sweet with a nice cheese topping. The potato croquettes were also a nice way to go -- perfect texture, two for each of us. Really cheesy inside taste, good finish with the paired sweet sauce. +Course 2 - Three-Meat Ragu Tagliatelle/Chorizo Another good course at Due. We split the pasta, and it was also really well done. Nice, thick pasta paired with a really good, sweet sauce made it a solid offering. The sauce was nice and hot, and we finished off the earlier bread by doing some dipping. The chorizo was also really well done - could've used a little more kick and spice. DUE did a really good pairing and teamed the chorizo up with puréed beans and mini fingerling potatoes with a creamy sauce finish. Really tasty. +Course 3 (dessert) - Cappuccino/Chocolate Mousse Finished off our meal the right way with DUE's solid chocolate mousse cake. Flavorful, moist, and not dry at ALL - very good cake. First time at this place, from the moment we walked in the door and greeted with a friendly smile by the hostess the atmosphere was great.... We met friends and had only Tapas all night, the food was great on an even par to Santiago Bodega in Key West!! Ben our waiter was a diamond in the ruff, he never rushed any of the courses, great with his recommendations, the quality of service was second to none. I came here on a Friday for lunch with a group of 8. I definitely agree with several other reviewers who said the portions are just too small for the prices. I understand it's a tapas place but if they're going to charge so much per plate, then the plates need to have more food on them. Service wasn't great. We did have a large party but we were the only ones there so the waiter could have paid a bit more attention to us. In terms of the food itself, though, I really have nothing but good things to say which is why I had to give it 4 stars in the end. We tried a bunch of different dishes, but the stand-out items for me were the gnocchi, the croquettes, the panzanella, and the empanadas. We've been here a bunch of times since they've opened and always bring different groups of people with us. We always have a great time, excellent, friendly service, never rushed. But the food is the best part of Due. We always knew it was good, but the moment it really sunk in was ironically when my wife and I were thousands of miles away in Italy. The freshness and flavors of the food reminded both of us of D360. The highlights here is the charcuterie, the burrata, and the empanadas which are epic. Seriously. We always get the herb gnocchi as well. The specials are always different and they usually have some kind of crazy taco on there to try. Lived in the area over 11yrs and walked past this place so many times. Finally tried it, had dinner here for the first time last night. We were a bit unsure at first, but pleasantly surprised with most of our choices. Thankfully we ordered with the help of pictures posted here from other yelpers. We had the tapas: the stuffed avocado, ceviche, polpo a la plancha and the broccoli rabe & chorizo which were all delicious. We also had the unsweetened herbal raspberry ice tea, which was naturally sweet & delicious, almost as good as sangria! I so wanted to like this place but it was a big disappointment. My wife is Argentine so we were looking forward to trying the Argentine/Italian tapas. The service started out very friendly and helpful but more on that later. First dish was the baby kale salad. It was an okay dish. Next was polpo ala plancha. The octopus was kind of mushy and the dish lacked contrast. The empanadas were a big let down. They barely had any filling in them and I'd suggest the chef rework the dish. Finally came the tagliatelle ragu. It came split into two plates which is fine. However after we starting eating it, the waiter came by to inform us that he took it upon himself to split the plate which also cost us $3 more?!?!?! Very bizarre practice and not appreciated at all. So we paid $16 for a tiny pasta dish. Pretty outrageous. The dish itself was over salted and had too much meat sauce. We ate the small amount of pasta and were left with a bowl of meat. Empanadas-chicken/beef/pork/veggies - they were all good. The only thing I found odd was that it was served with a side of marinara and a side of what seemed like honey mustard. As odd as I thought the honey mustard type sauce was it actually tasted good with the empanadas. I do wish they had a chimichurri type sauce to dip them with. Can you tell I love chimichurri sauce lol? Sangria- I had the white and hubby had the red. Both were phenomenal. Went for my belated birthday dinner with my friends and it good. The hostesses Katie and Cassie are so welcoming and outgoing. Katie made suggestions which we ordered all of. The runners were very nice and funny. Our waiter we hardly saw which was odd. The food is wonderful. The only thing we didnt like was the speed it came out. It was way too fast we sat down at 8 and we were finished by 9....however cd have been on purpose cuz my friend was mega annoying about timing and spacing things out.
