We had a reservation but seated at a tiny table. The restaurant was ice cold inside. It's a shame restaurant can't pick the bar side or the dining-room to seat all kids with families. Why make both rooms unbearable? Our server was nice but not efficient. Never checked on us after ordering. No more drinks offered and our empty water was never refilled. We got a last minute seating at 5pm if we were willing to finish by 6:30pm. Fine by us! Ambiance was nice and everything felt clean and new. Water was room temp which was personally not ideal. The buswoman (?) was quick and attentive. Our waiter though...more on that later. We ordered the deviled eggs, wings, and the kids meals to start. I didn't love the abundance of parmesan cheese on the eggs but maybe it just wasn't for me. The dry rub on the wings tasted like all-dressed chips which we loved. The kids meals came with drinks, but our waiter said, "I see you brought your own water bottles so they're fine with drinks." We ordered drinks for them anyway, but thanks. The kids meals were fine but the fries were super salty so I ordered another side of them with no salt, which everyone really enjoyed. They didn't taste frozen, but probably are. But they were good! When trying to add the side of fries, I saw our waiter standing around in the back chatting with other waitstaff, just shooting the shit. Our buswoman went up to him and gestured towards us and I saw him brush her off. She had to go back up to him two more times and that's when he decided to come check on us. Zero sense of urgency despite our time constraint. Our waiter appeared to be knowledgeable and experienced, but it only went as far as not writing down our order which came off pretentious. I asked if the salmon had crispy skin and he said he didn't know what I was asking. I explained and he said all he could tell me was that the halibut did not have skin and the salmon was cooked with the skin on the bottom. I said, "So it's cooked skin side down? Like on a pan?" And he said, "It's heated with the skin underneath." Based on our back and forth, it sounded like it was not crispy skin so I didn't order it, but my friend did. I ordered the summer squash bucatini. They should have just called it pesto pasta. It wasn't cooked or flavored particularly well. I took a few bites and was done with the sameness. As for my friend's salmon--it could not have had a crispier skin on it!! I wanted to call the waiter over to show him what a crispy skin salmon was, but I refrained. He came by later and asked how the food was. I said the pasta wasn't for me and he saw the full plate, but could not have walked away faster with no further questions. He came back and asked if we wanted the bill and we said no, we wanted the peach cobbler to go. He said it would take 15-20 minutes. Not 5 minutes later, someone brought it out to us. I saw him look at us and you could tell he was debating whether or not to come by and say his thank you/goodbye. He opted not to come back. We love supporting local businesses and especially finding good, new restaurants so we're willing to give it another try! But if we're seated in this guy's section, I will probably ask for a different waiter for both our sakes. read more

Terrific service food outstanding. My wife had the wings to start I had the gumbo. Perfection. My wife had the chicken with brocolini which was a tad cold if not piping hot. Although it was delicious my wife decided to box the rest. The server Valerie was terrific and offered a dessert on the house which was appreciated. It was bustling on a Friday night so reservation is recommended. I tried a mocktail which was pleasant while Grace had a glass of sauvignon blanc. We shared the crab cakes to start. This was nice. For the mains, I chose the short ribs and she tried the Summer Squash Bucatini. Both options were fantastic. I tried her pasta and I would love to order this next time. My short ribs was flawless- it came with my favorite veggies. The pillowy mash, leeks, mushrooms- all glazed with their savory reduction. But the Bucatini was perfect for spring. Peach cobbler for dessert! I wish there were two scoops of their good vanilla ice cream. I paired this with their coffee, an excellent one btw, like a caffe crema. Ambiance was nice, staff was also nice, food was honestly just not that good, left feeling pretty disappointed. Appetizers were ok, bread basket was yummy, the corn had way too much lime on it making it very difficult to eat. Kind of felt like having a warhead lemon drop, not great tbh. I had the French dip sandwich it was EXTREMELY disappointing. I get that it's hard but it was so sweet and sloppy that it was basically inedible, I took it home in case my dad wanted to have it but he tried it and did not like it either. The veggie steak was underdone and a bit too hard, should be softer, not feel like undercooked broccoli. The chicken was very bland and too salty but the texture of it was beautiful. I feel very in between on if I'll come back, just overall disappointed in the food but the vibe and staff were so lovely. read more

My husband & I ate at Aubrey's Corner for the first time last night for Valentine's Day, & just wow!! We had a 4:15 PM reservation, found easy, free parking behind the restaurant, & were greeted with a warm, grateful welcome right away- with the offer of a coat check before being led to our seats. Not only was the inside aesthetic beautiful, but you can tell love & care was poured into this place. Our waiter, Brandon, was the best! He recommended the "French Kiss" cocktail special for me (which was delish), my husband tried the "Far From The Tree," & Brandon was overall kind, super attentive, & had a radiant positive energy. When you're being served by people who are genuinely happy to be there, & happy to serve you- the vibe is immaculate. The food was ahh-mazing! We ordered the Roasted Garlic Hummus which was bangin' & the Classic Caesar salad to start, my husband had the Prime French Dip, I had the Braised Short Rib, & we topped off our dinner with two espressos with a side of whole milk & sugar (we crossed our fingers hoping they had espresso as an option since we had no room for dessert & sure enough they did)! The place was bustling in the best way with more people as the evening went on, & yet the team at Aubrey's Corner were on top with their attention. Can you believe they had a soft-opening in November of 2025? They were just so great! We learned they still are wrapping up some renovations like their bar, but we couldn't tell! I'm excited for a new place that is so attentive, where you feel like family, & am looking forward to seeing how they only continue to grow & improve; but honestly they have the hospitality & food down! We got the opportunity to speak with Nick, the general manager, & Dominic who is one of their bartenders & it was so nice to meet more of the team. They both, at different times, came to check on us & see how we're enjoying ourselves, as they are so new, & you can just tell how everyone is on the same page of appreciation for the owners, the team they are all working alongside, & happy to be there & be of service. The space is really beautiful. It was a bit noisy but you could still have a conversation. Our waiter had great reccomendations and was attentive. Bread basket was fluffy and fresh. I had the pork chop and mashed potatoes, it was excellent. My husband had the halibut and enjoyed it, only complaint, it didn't come with a side as most of the other mains did. Dessert was the apple crumb, it was great. My husband and I love Port and we feel few restaurants have tawny, usually only ruby, so we were delighted to see a good selection here! 4.5 stars more like. Very promising new spot where Marco Polo's used to be. The menu is very approachable with a decent variety for everyone. Quality is good and service was very friendly. Hopefully as the place gets more settled in, it can expand and/or rotate the menu to get a greater flow of return visits for locals like myself. The setting and decor inside is bright and open which makes for a comfortable meal. Ample parking is a big plus especially compared to the main strip of Summit downtown. read more

The menu very limited , decor is lovely but sorry guys your waitstaff is not on it . We have come to Marco Polo, as it was called under the previous owner, Agapios, since 1991 when our kids were toddlers. It was our favorite neighborhood canteen + local bar for decades! Was our go-to spot for friendly service, Italian comfort food + family celebrations. So we were hopeful + looking forward to experience what the new owners had created. Now we've had 2 family dinners, and couldn't be happier with the reimagined restaurant !! From the start, we were greeted warmly by the friendly+ young staff all of whom seemed happy to be there. We were blown away in so many ways! The renovation was glorious, with banks of new tall windows making the dark, cozy interior into an airy, light filled fun space! Place was packed with local families + was instantly fun! And the menu eclectic and good for allof us, including the vegetarians! Now we R addicted to the French Onion Soup( personal favorite that I've ordered in every French restaurant I've been to all over the world (theirs was the best version I've had so far!!) and the Nonni's are hLASagna, which is a showstopper on many levels! Ambience: Beautiful space, but the noise level really took away from the experience, it felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant, it was hard to hold a conversation. Some more sound absorption and thoughtful music selection would help. Lighting was also way too bright for a dinner setting. Service: waitstaff were super friendly and attentive throughout. Host/hostesses tho: Drinks: Just okay. The big rock was a nice touch in theory, but it was a cloudy ice cube, which made it less appealing. Something small like this shd be done right. Food: Unfortunately, this was the biggest letdown. The French dip was disappointing--the bread tasted super low quality- totally fell apart, the onion was more like a marmalade-overly sweet and way overpowering, and it came with a gravy that didn't add much. The fries were way underwhelming. Another small thing that just shd be done right. Dessert (profiteroles) also missed the mark, with ice cream that tasted artificial and chocolate syrup reminiscent of something more store-bought than house-made. For the price point, the ingredients and execution need improvement for this place to survive imo. Overall: There's potential here--the space (and even the bathrooms!) are beautifully done--but it feels like the restaurant is still figuring out its identity. Right now, it's caught between casual and upscale, and that lack of clarity shows. It may be worth revisiting once things are more refined. read more

First, amazing renovation! The transformation of the space is close to magical. Cannot believe it's the same location. The bar during the light of day was bright and inviting and as the sun went down became warm and cozy. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive and efficient. We ordered a number of plates to share. The seasonal harvest salad was terrific and the smash burger was finger licking good. Great fries too. I love good crispy fries. The part that impressed me most was that my girlfriends and I were so immersed in chatting that we didn't realize that the entire restaurant had cleared out and we were the last people to leave. Later finding out that the restaurant actually closed at 9pm and we did not leave until 10:30. Bad on us for sure but what impressed me most was not one person ever said anything about closing or hinted in any way that they wanted us to leave. Just let us sit there and chat.
