Nice chill, neighborhood sports bar and pizza spot. Decent service, good value and price for food compared to other nearby similar spots.

I am fond of the chicken meatball appetizer and the chicken parm with linguini with vodka sauce.

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

With the show starting at 7:30, we should have had plenty of time to eat within an hour and a half, but we ended up having to take our dessert in to go boxes with 4 minutes to curtain time. The soup was bland and lacked flavor. The crab linguini was tasty. We had the Old Fashioned and recommend using the same variety menu offered at the theater. The old fashioned in the restaurant was too sweet and not as well made as the mix that was offered in the theater. The manager did not charge us for our dinner because of this debacle, but I doubt we will go back. The restaurant was recently renovated and the interior now feels more like a diner. They have lost the charm and fine dining feel. It's a shame...

They were not necessarily prepared for the new space, etc. There was so much RUNNING (and quite a bit of yelling in the kitchen). My husband is in a wheelchair - the host seemed confused by this. Pointed to a 2-top between a wall and another 2-top. I just shook my head - an he moved us to the end of the row, closest to the kitchen. It worked out fine - but it put us within ear shot of the kitchen. I'm hopeful they get the wrinkles out of their systems and service. We were seated by 5:50, the service was fairly well-timed, but we were barely across the patio into the theatre by 7:26, for a 7:30 curtain. PHEW.

Very, very helpful and my friend and I were kind of a pain as we were asking a lot of questions and I could not decided on what I wanted. The brunch menu is extensive and I wanted everything. I left her a 25% tip, but after I left I felt she deserved more. Speaking of tips, their suggested tip at bottom of receipt is based the check price after taxes. This is stated on the check... The drinks: We decided to start with drinks. My friend had the Moscow mule and I had the Bloody Mary. My bloody Mary was very good and strong and came with 3 huge olives. The olives tasted fresh. I've had weird tasting olives in other places. I liked it so much, I had another. Big mistake... My friend liked her Moscow Mule. The food: I had the turkey burger with bacon and avocado and truffle fries. The burger was cooked to perfection. It was not dry, but juicy without being under cooked. The bacon was perfect and the slices of avocado were fresh. My friend ordered the Ham Benedict. I didn't taste it but she said it was very good. The eggs looked perfectly done. That came with a side of potatoes. I think this will be my new brunch spot when I come to visit North Jersey. I recommend them.
