Really nice place in Summit where you can walk around and entertain yourself with all the nice store front businesses. The light music you will hear will have you humming without notice. The nice modern decor and color tones will have you feeling welcome and good. My Pan Seared Chicken Paillard, Saltimbocca Style, Arugula, Tomatoes, Red Onion, Prosciutto. Was very good. My friend had Pan Seared Gnocchi Bolognese Slow Cooked Beef, Pork, Wine, Parmesan Cheese and it was really tasty. I tried it and would have traded for that. This place is really good. I am rarely in this area. And with all the other places in the are. I would go back to try something other things on the menu

I recently popped into Piattino for a quick bite and drinks with a close friend, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! From the moment we stepped inside, I was impressed by how beautiful and thoughtfully decorated the space was--such a cozy yet stylish vibe. We shared a margarita pizza, and it was everything you'd want in a pizza--crispy thin crust and packed with flavor. But the real star of the show? The espresso martinis. I'm always on the lookout for a great one, and these did not disappoint. I'm a girl who loves some Baileys in her espresso martini and I loved how they asked me if I would want that --honestly, I'd come back just for those espresso martinis alone.

The food was fantastic. The spicy vodka was just the right amount of spicy where the build up won't get to you but the kick is just right. The parm may look small but it's mighty. So filling !! Thank you to our waiter for being so attentive always bringing refills and making sure that the food was great. 10/10. And, if you'd like to sit outside, on the bar, or in the booths it's quiet and private and honestly it's so nice for a date. Hope you come and try it for yourselves.

My family was searching for a place without a wait in Downtown Summit and Piattino's met the bill. The service and food were both good. we sat in the back section of the restaurant, that appears to be a small party room. It wasn't too loud. The salmon was well cooked and came with a vegetable risotto that was delicious! My daughter had a kids pizza and typically only has part of a slice. She devoured more than two slices. The Caesar salad was the perfect size. The only criticism is that a small glass of coke (not even a full can) was nearly $4. Overall, it was a good experience.

Went out for a girls night and the vibes were perfect! We started with the cacio e pepe rice balls and espresso martinis, honestly the perfect combo! The service was quick and friendly, and our table was in a great spot for people watching.

Piattino is a nice place to sit outdoors on a summer night. My family was In a truffle mood, so we got the funghi pizza and the Bianco truffled carbonara pasta. My kids enjoyed the pizza, which had decent truffle flavor. My pasta was a bit too rich and creamy for me but perhaps carbonara is not my thang. However i liked the truffle flavor with the pancetta and peas. My fave was the meatball app. Service was friendly and nice outdoor neighborhood atmosphere.

I mostly do take out from here, but everything I've ordered from here has been wonderful! I love how it is in the heart of summit, right across the street from the train station. Food wise- the margarita pizza is light and tasty, meatballs are great too topped with ricotta- meatballs can be a little dense thought, carrot risotto balls are moist, Bianco carbonara is excellent- my go to, ravioli is cooked perfectly and pairs so well with the cheese sauce. Overall, its a little more on the pricey side, but the food in my option is always delicious and service is extremely attentive.

    Red sangria. Yummm

Excellent service, ambiance and food. Sunni pizza was wonderful, as was the regional pasta and the sangria was terrific. Will definitely go back!

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

This business is what made him a multimillionaire, so I expected it to me magical. It was pretty ho hum. I lean towards the finer wines and liquors, so right off the bat it was disappointing. They didn't even have Tignanello in stock ... they said they could probably find a bottle online. The employees don't walk the floor ... there are lots of young-ish employees sitting at desks who have all the personality of robots. Seriously, after interacting with a few of them, I wondered if the store was closing because they seemed so put out to talk with me. The cashier was the same way. The upper level is where all the liquor is ... a very good selection. Not quite Total Wine ... They had very few rum brands and very few bottles of good gin. They did have a few bottom-level allocated items ... but no Forteleza, Pappy, Weller, etc. The markup was also incredibly high ... $150 for a bottle of Old Fitz 7 Year old bourbon. That's $70 at Total Wine. I left with a few cheap bottles at a very good price ... but they didn't have a lot of high end wines for purchase. Mostly $12 - $25 on the shelves. They had some 'special wines' they were pushing hard, showcasing a 96 point scored wine they claimed was $100 but marked down to $30. The 96 rating came from James Suckling (the biggest scammer in wine ratings) ... after a little googling, I saw that the average score was 92 and no other stores seemed to carry this. It was just okay. I was very disappointed they didn't have much Bordeaux and what they did have was a mish mash of average vintage years. Overall, I think I will skip coming back. It wasn't really anything special in terms of prices or selection. The little high end international grocery store and cheese shop was pretty cool though. There's a place called Gary's Wine about 20 minutes away, which I like a lot better.

The upstairs area houses a lot of specialty wines, including Kosher, and a bougie wine cellar with rare and expensive bottles kept at temperature. They also have a market section where you can purchase meats, cheeses, pastas, and other little goodies. This place is truly a one-stop-shop. You can find an inexpensive bottle to enjoy, or you can find a big, special occasion bottle. Jim G helped us locate several of the wines we were on a mission to find. He spent nearly 30 minutes with us and ensured we found everything we wanted. He also offered some great recommendations based upon our favorites. We so appreciated his passion and expertise! Maybe it's better we don't live close to this place because we'd spent way too much money way too often!

Our food was mostly good; not exceptional. One disappointment was my husband's swordfish livornaise. He is familiar with this dish, having prepared it himself. There was no marinara sauce with capers and olives, as is typical in the recipe. I would have expected an Italian restaurant to get that right. The swordfish was ample and not dry. The lasagna was served in an individual baking dish and it was surrounded in oil. Not appetizing. The prices are high, as expected. Only wish the food was more exceptional for the prices. The floor-to-ceiling windows create a gorgeous atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Service throughout the meal was very good, and our server, Abby, was friendly and attentive. That said, there were a couple of disappointments. It was my birthday, and we were asked multiple times throughout the evening whether we were celebrating a special occasion. However, nothing was ever acknowledged at the end of the meal. We even had to remind our server about the limoncello shots that typically accompany dessert, which felt a bit awkward after being asked so many times about the occasion. My biggest concern is the seating issue with the windows. While the floor-to-ceiling glass is beautiful, the sun glare was extremely uncomfortable where we were seated. The sun was directly in our eyes for much of the meal, and we found ourselves switching and repositioning our chairs just to be comfortable. The restaurant should consider installing shades, scrims, or another solution to help manage the sunlight during certain hours. Overall, Felina Summit is a gorgeous restaurant with excellent food and good service, and I would certainly return. With better management of the sunlight and a little more follow-through on special occasion acknowledgments, the experience would be even better.
